indeed_o it_o be_v but_o the_o godhead_n quicken_a and_o give_v life_n to_o the_o manhood_n in_o christ_n the_o spirit_n quicken_a and_o sanctify_v the_o manhood_n and_o we_o have_v no_o comfort_n by_o the_o life_n of_o god_n as_o it_o be_v in_o god_n life_n alone_o sever_v for_o alas_o what_o communion_n have_v we_o with_o god_n without_o a_o mediator_n but_o our_o comfort_n be_v this_o that_o countermand_n to_o all_o other_o law_n the_o law_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n free_v we_o from_o all_o other_o law_n so_o here_o be_v life_n the_o spirit_n of_o life_n and_o the_o law_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n all_o word_n of_o strong_a signification_n but_o for_o the_o clear_a understanding_n of_o this_o sweet_a and_o comfortable_a point_n first_o
justice_n for_o they_o and_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n have_v quicken_v that_o dead_a body_n of_o he_o that_o be_v surety_n for_o we_o himself_o we_o may_v well_o say_v who_o shall_v lay_v any_o we_o may_v bold_o demand_v we_o be_v free_v from_o our_o sin_n because_o our_o surety_n be_v free_a from_o all_o all_o this_o be_v for_o our_o good_a we_o what_o christ_n do_v it_o be_v not_o for_o himself_o but_o for_o we_o and_o in_o his_o birth_n and_o life_n and_o death_n and_o resurrection_n we_o must_v consider_v he_o as_o a_o public_a person_n and_o so_o go_v along_o with_o all_o that_o he_o do_v as_o a_o public_a person_n christ._n whatsoever_o may_v be_v terrible_a to_o we_o we_o must_v look_v upon_o it_o first_o in_o christ._n if_o we_o look_v upon_o the_o corruption_n and_o defilement_n in_o our_o nature_n look_v upon_o the_o pure_a nature_n of_o christ_n his_o nature_n be_v sanctify_v in_o his_o birth_n and_o he_o be_v a_o public_a person_n therefore_o this_o be_v for_o i_o and_o though_o i_o be_v defile_v in_o my_o own_o nature_n and_o carry_v the_o remainder_n of_o corruption_n about_o i_o yet_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n in_o christ_n sanctify_v his_o nature_n and_o there_o be_v more_o sanctity_n in_o he_o than_o there_o can_v be_v sin_n in_o i_o when_o we_o look_v upon_o our_o sin_n let_v we_o not_o so_o much_o look_v upon_o they_o in_o our_o conscience_n and_o death_n and_o resurrection_n and_o ascension_n to_o glory_n in_o heaven_n for_o all_o that_o he_o do_v be_v as_o a_o public_a person_n as_o the_o second_o adam_n but_o now_o before_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n in_o christ_n come_v to_o free_v i_o i_o and_o christ_n must_v be_v one_o there_o must_v be_v a_o union_n between_o i_o and_o christ_n i_o must_v be_v a_o member_n of_o christ_n therefore_o faith_n must_v be_v wrought_v by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n this_o be_v the_o grace_n of_o application_n when_o a_o man_n go_v out_o of_o himself_o when_o he_o see_v himself_o first_o in_o bondage_n to_o his_o corruption_n to_o satan_n and_o to_o death_n and_o then_o see_v the_o excellent_a way_n that_o god_n have_v think_v it_o a_o easy_a matter_n to_o believe_v indeed_o it_o be_v a_o easy_a matter_n to_o presume_v to_o have_v a_o conceit_n but_o for_o the_o soul_n in_o the_o time_n of_o temptation_n and_o in_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n for_o the_o guilty_a soul_n to_o go_v out_o of_o itself_o and_o cast_v it_o self_n upon_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n who_o be_v just_o offend_v and_o to_o believe_v that_o
