power_n over_o the_o king_n or_o to_o call_v he_o to_o a_o account_n for_o any_o thing_n he_o have_v do_v appear_v by_o the_o express_a declaration_n of_o both_o house_n in_o the_o statute_n of_o the_o 12_o of_o charles_n the_o second_o as_o also_o in_o those_o but_o now_o cite_v in_o which_o they_o utter_o disclaim_v all_o make_v war_n whether_o offensive_a or_o defensive_a against_o his_o majesty_n much_o less_o can_v he_o be_v subject_a to_o any_o other_o coercive_a or_o vindictive_a power_n or_o ought_v any_o way_n to_o be_v resist_v by_o private_a person_n therefore_o suppose_v i_o shall_v grant_v as_o i_o do_v not_o that_o the_o parliament_n have_v former_o a_o power_n of_o depose_v of_o their_o king_n or_o that_o the_o clergy_n nobility_n and_o people_n have_v former_o a_o easy_a to_o be_v know_v and_o judge_v of_o by_o the_o most_o common_a capacity_n now_o that_o a_o superior_a or_o governor_n may_v lose_v all_o that_o power_n and_o authority_n he_o once_o have_v and_o that_o without_o any_o act_n of_o the_o party_n govern_v may_v appear_v by_o those_o great_a and_o natural_a relation_n of_o a_o husband_n and_o a_o master_n in_o the_o former_a of_o which_o if_o a_o husband_n in_o the_o state_n of_o nature_n use_v his_o wife_n so_o cruel_o that_o she_o can_v no_o long_o live_v or_o cohabit_n with_o he_o without_o danger_n of_o her_o life_n i_o doubt_v not_o but_o she_o may_v quit_v he_o and_o may_v also_o when_o she_o be_v out_o of_o his_o power_n marry_v herself_o again_o to_o another_o man_n that_o will_v use_v she_o better_o so_o in_o the_o judge_n to_o call_v he_o to_o a_o account_n and_o judge_n and_o punish_v he_o for_o his_o tyranny_n this_o i_o abhor_v as_o much_o as_o yourself_o for_o i_o grant_v that_o a_o king_n can_v be_v
