again_o be_v not_o reveal_v unto_o they_o for_o that_o mystery_n be_v so_o great_a as_o it_o be_v be_v not_o in_o that_o day_n to_o wit_n before_o christ_n come_v and_o suffer_v in_o the_o flesh_n preach_v as_o one_o of_o the_o first_o and_o most_o necessary_a thing_n to_o be_v first_o know_v and_o believe_v as_o without_o the_o faith_n and_o knowledge_n of_o which_o no_o man_n can_v be_v in_o any_o degree_n bless_v otherwise_o when_o christ_n begin_v to_o preach_v he_o will_v have_v preach_v it_o as_o one_o of_o the_o first_o thing_n and_o when_o he_o send_v his_o disciple_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n before_o he_o suffer_v death_n he_o will_v have_v give_v they_o a_o express_a commission_n to_o preach_v it_o to_o all_o people_n how_o he_o be_v to_o be_v crucify_v and_o raise_v again_o the_o three_o day_n but_o the_o mystery_n of_o it_o at_o that_o time_n they_o know_v not_o and_o therefore_o can_v not_o preach_v it_o then_o nor_o do_v he_o preach_v it_o himself_o when_o he_o begin_v his_o ministry_n nor_o for_o a_o considerable_a time_n afterwards_o until_o the_o time_n draw_v near_o that_o he_o be_v to_o suffer_v in_o all_o that_o excellent_a sermon_n of_o he_o on_o the_o mount_n not_o one_o title_n or_o word_n do_v he_o mention_v of_o his_o death_n and_o resurrection_n express_o but_o he_o teach_v the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n and_o expound_v the_o spirituality_n of_o the_o law_n in_o its_o extent_n far_o beyond_o the_o reach_n and_o conception_n which_o the_o people_n have_v of_o it_o at_o that_o time_n and_o withal_o drop_v some_o evangelical_n precept_n unto_o they_o and_o teach_v they_o the_o right_a way_n of_o prayer_n fast_v and_o alm_n and_o pronounce_v they_o bless_v that_o hunger_a and_o thirst_v after_o righteousness_n and_o be_v poor_a in_o spirit_n that_o be_v merciful_a that_o be_v meek_n and_o peacemaker_n and_o that_o mourn_v etc._n etc._n and_o suffer_v for_o righteousness_n sake_n and_o therefore_o it_o may_v be_v very_o safe_o conclude_v that_o the_o express_a knowledge_n and_o faith_n of_o christ_n crucify_v be_v not_o of_o absolute_a and_o indispensible_a necessity_n especial_o where_o it_o have_v not_o be_v preach_v nor_o reveal_v unto_o the_o begin_n of_o a_o man_n salvation_n although_o it_o be_v real_o of_o absolute_a and_o indispensible_a necessity_n unto_o the_o finish_n and_o perfect_v of_o it_o because_o as_o have_v be_v already_o say_v our_o inward_a renew_n unto_o god_n when_o perfect_v in_o we_o be_v a_o renew_v we_o perfect_o and_o not_o in_o part_n only_o into_o the_o image_n of_o god_n and_o a_o part_n of_o that_o perfect_a image_n be_v the_o perfect_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o jesus_n christ_n who_o to_o know_v be_v life_n eternal_a and_o that_o perfect_a knowledge_n require_v man_n to_o know_v he_o as_o he_o come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o die_v and_o rise_v again_o which_o be_v that_o great_a mystery_n of_o godliness_n as_o paul_n call_v it_o 1_o tim._n 3.16_o but_o if_o these_o man_n who_o own_o that_o say_v confession_n of_o faith_n inquire_v whether_o all_o these_o honest_a gentile_n that_o live_v in_o the_o world_n or_o do_v now_o live_v in_o the_o world_n who_o have_v not_o have_v christ_n crucify_v outward_o preach_v unto_o they_o but_o be_v diligent_a to_o frame_v their_o life_n according_a to_o the_o light_n that_o be_v in_o they_o die_v in_o a_o state_n of_o salvation_n i_o say_v yea_o they_o do_v and_o this_o i_o may_v the_o rather_o say_v according_a to_o their_o own_o doctrine_n for_o what_o if_o they_o have_v not_o the_o perfect_a knowledge_n and_o faith_n of_o christ_n crucify_v when_o they_o live_v yet_o they_o may_v have_v it_o at_o their_o death_n to_o wit_n in_o the_o pass_n through_o the_o valley_n of_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n according_a to_o psal_n 23.4_o even_o when_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o demonstrate_v unto_o the_o live_n what_o be_v then_o reveal_v unto_o they_o and_o as_o it_o be_v in_o job_n 33.22_o 23_o 24._o when_o a_o man_n soul_n draw_v near_o unto_o the_o grave_a and_o his_o life_n to_o the_o destroyer_n there_o may_v be_v a_o messenger_n with_o he_o a_o interpreter_n one_o of_o a_o thousand_o to_o show_v unto_o man_n his_o uprightness_n than_o he_o be_v gracious_a unto_o he_o and_o say_v deliver_v he_o from_o go_v down_o to_o the_o pit_n i_o have_v find_v a_o ransom_n or_o atonement_n see_v the_o hebr._n or_o margin_n of_o the_o english_a bible_n or_o if_o i_o shall_v say_v they_o receive_v this_o perfect_a knowledge_n of_o christ_n after_o death_n it_o be_v according_a to_o your_o doctrine_n who_o say_v the_o soul_n of_o the_o righteous_a general_o or_o universal_o after_o death_n note_n after_o death_n be_v then_o make_v perfect_a in_o holiness_n be_v receive_v into_o the_o high_a heaven_n etc._n etc._n these_o be_v the_o express_a word_n of_o your_o catechism_n cap._n 32._o sect_n 1._o but_o when_o and_o how_o or_o at_o what_o precise_a time_n these_o honest_a gentile_n who_o use_v their_o great_a diligence_n to_o frame_v their_o life_n according_a to_o the_o light_n that_o be_v in_o they_o and_o yet_o have_v not_o have_v the_o death_n and_o resurrection_n of_o christ_n outward_o preach_v unto_o they_o when_o they_o then_o live_v in_o the_o world_n be_v not_o my_o present_a business_n to_o determine_v it_o do_v suffice_v that_o i_o have_v demonstrate_v from_o scripture_n that_o man_n have_v be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o salvation_n and_o acceptance_n with_o god_n who_o have_v not_o have_v the_o mystery_n of_o christ_n his_o death_n and_o resurrection_n make_v know_v unto_o they_o and_o sure_o these_o man_n continue_v faithful_a to_o what_o they_o have_v receive_v when_o they_o die_v can_v not_o perish_v for_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o any_o man_n who_o have_v the_o work_n of_o salvation_n real_o begin_v in_o he_o though_o but_o as_o a_o child_n in_o knowledge_n that_o hold_v fast_o the_o begin_n of_o his_o confidence_n firm_a unto_o the_o end_n
