we_o unto_o death_n contemn_v and_o despise_v the_o word_n which_o we_o offer_v they_o from_o god_n whereby_o they_o may_v be_v save_v and_o go_v about_o by_o all_o mean_n to_o root_v it_o out_o but_o all_o this_o ought_v not_o to_o drive_v we_o back_o patienes_n or_o discourage_v we_o for_o in_o this_o world_n must_v we_o seek_v no_o high_a honour_n nor_o praise_n but_o willing_o humble_a and_o will_v live_v to_o please_v the_o world_n to_o serve_v it_o and_o to_o hunt_v after_o the_o favour_n and_o praise_n of_o it_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v faithful_a minister_n of_o jesus_n christ_n we_o ought_v not_o to_o look_v for_o worldly_a honour_n but_o to_o have_v respect_n to_o the_o eternal_a glory_n which_o we_o shall_v have_v with_o christ_n our_o head_n yea_o so_o far_o as_o we_o suffer_v rebuke_v and_o dishonour_n with_o he_o when_o he_o live_v in_o this_o time_n and_o practise_v the_o truth_n against_o the_o pharisy_n he_o be_v revile_v put_v to_o shame_n and_o death_n the_o same_o happen_v also_o unto_o we_o for_o we_o be_v not_o above_o the_o lord_n a_o evil_a token_n be_v it_o if_o the_o world_n love_v us._n patient_o therefore_o and_o with_o joy_n ought_v we_o to_o bear_v such_o rebuke_n and_o shame_n as_o happen_v unto_o we_o for_o his_o name_n sake_n by_o those_o that_o hate_v the_o truth_n for_o our_o honour_n and_o reward_n be_v great_a in_o heaven_n but_o after_o our_o trouble_n shall_v the_o same_o be_v first_o open_v as_o it_o happen_v also_o unto_o christ_n our_o head_n first_o after_o the_o cross_n but_o when_o the_o comforter_n be_v come_v who_o i_o strength_n give_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o such_o shepherd_n and_o sheep_n as_o be_v faithful_a to_o suffer_v death_n for_o christ_n sake_n death_n be_v not_o now_o so_o to_o be_v fear_v of_o we_o deliver_v she_o from_o all_o adversity_n she_o love_v christ_n and_o in_o the_o behalf_n of_o his_o truth_n she_o strive_v until_o the_o death_n for_o see_v christ_n die_v for_o all_o it_o be_v meet_v that_o they_o which_o be_v his_o do_v follow_v his_o footstep_n to_o follow_v christ_n be_v nothing_o else_o than_o stout_o to_o suffer_v and_o overcome_v despite_n and_o poverty_n in_o this_o world_n for_o his_o sake_n and_o god_n true_o even_o in_o his_o wrath_n which_o we_o with_o our_o sin_n deserve_v can_v forget_v his_o mercy_n over_o and_o beside_o the_o manifold_a comfort_n and_o help_v which_o he_o otherwise_o declare_v unto_o we_o he_o have_v give_v we_o his_o own_o son_n to_o be_v our_o mediator_n by_o who_o if_o we_o put_v our_o trust_n in_o he_o we_o shall_v be_v save_v &_o truth_n innocent_o he_o suffer_v with_o a_o good_a conscience_n and_o with_o a_o upright_o mind_n no_o man_n in_o deed_n ought_v to_o put_v himself_o in_o danger_n arrogant_o wilful_o or_o for_o vainglory_n whereas_o peter_n ask_v a_o question_n concern_v the_o disciple_n who_o the_o lord_n love_v what_o he_o shall_v do_v it_o be_v a_o niceness_n and_o unprofitable_a curiosity_n that_o serve_v nothing_o to_o edification_n and_o therefore_o it_o please_v not_o the_o lord_n whatsoever_o edifi_v not_o that_o ought_v not_o we_o to_o desire_v of_o christ_n let_v every_o man_n look_v to_o namely_o to_o follow_v he_o as_o for_o that_o which_o he_o desire_v to_o know_v christ_n tell_v he_o that_o it_o be_v no_o point_n of_o his_o charge_n as_o if_o christ_n will_v say_v what_o have_v thou_o to_o do_v with_o other_o folk_n business_n thou_o have_v hear_v what_o i_o have_v command_v thou_o look_v that_o thou_o faithful_o do_v the_o same_o what_o inquire_v thou_o after_o other_o man_n matter_n thus_o look_v diligent_o and_o faithful_o to_o our_o own_o charge_n and_o expel_v the_o affection_n of_o the_o flesh_n we_o shall_v neither_o desire_v curious_o to_o ask_v any_o thing_n beyond_o the_o will_n of_o god_n neither_o to_o look_v upon_o any_o other_o man_n but_o upright_o to_o follow_v the_o lord_n here_o also_o we_o learn_v that_o in_o the_o commission_n and_o final_a departure_n of_o the_o faithful_a there_o be_v manifold_a difference_n some_o rest_n in_o the_o lord_n bless_o without_o any_o special_a heavy_a affliction_n but_o some_o it_o please_v god_n to_o bring_v through_o sore_a travail_n and_o exceed_a trouble_n lay_v the_o great_a burden_n upon_o he_o according_a as_o it_o be_v tell_v peter_n afore_o hand_n that_o he_o shall_v be_v crucify_v but_o not_o john_n they_o now_o that_o be_v admit_v to_o feed_v christ_n his_o sheep_n prepare_v themselves_o and_o be_v always_o ready_a without_o any_o curiosity_n to_o follow_v the_o will_n of_o god_n whereas_o john_n in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o his_o book_n refute_v the_o erroneous_a opinion_n of_o some_o it_o be_v a_o evidence_n of_o his_o meekness_n and_o sincerity_n it_o be_v not_o so_o speak_v of_o the_o lord_n say_v he_o that_o the_o same_o disciple_n shall_v not_o die_v whereby_o john_n confess_v that_o he_o himself_o also_o be_v mortal_a his_o writing_n will_v he_o have_v credit_v for_o he_o have_v write_v nothing_o save_o only_a the_o truth_n whereof_o he_o may_v well_o testify_v that_o which_o he_o have_v see_v yet_o say_v he_o have_v not_o write_v all_o but_o only_o
