contrariwise_o he_o will_v that_o those_o child_n which_o in_o steed_n of_o honour_v father_n and_o mother_n do_v vex_v they_o by_o disobedience_n and_o curse_n shall_v be_v put_v to_o death_n as_o have_v be_v allege_v heretofore_o then_o see_v he_o deem_v not_o such_o child_n worthy_a of_o the_o life_n present_a it_o follow_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v deprive_v of_o the_o heavenly_a light_n and_o send_v into_o uttermost_a darkness_n solomon_n signify_v this_o say_v the_o lamp_n of_o he_o etc._n etc._n this_o make_v not_o that_o wicked_a and_o rebellious_a child_n shall_v have_v any_o lamp_n of_o true_a joy_n and_o prosperity_n but_o only_o that_o which_o they_o think_v they_o have_v which_o as_o be_v say_v shall_v be_v put_v out_o in_o the_o depth_n of_o darkness_n for_o they_o shall_v be_v in_o so_o great_a pain_n and_o anguish_n so_o sharp_a &_o torment_n so_o troublesome_a that_o of_o the_o prosperity_n which_o they_o think_v to_o have_v there_o shall_v remain_v no_o whit_n neither_o shall_v there_o be_v remembrance_n of_o it_o any_o more_o the_o pain_n that_o they_o shall_v suffer_v shall_v surmount_v all_o that_o which_o have_v go_v before_o as_o contrariwise_o the_o joy_n that_o the_o obedient_a child_n shall_v have_v of_o the_o heavenly_a prosperity_n shall_v be_v so_o great_a that_o if_o in_o this_o life_n they_o have_v suffer_v pain_n grief_n and_o tear_n they_o shall_v be_v all_o deface_v and_o blot_v out_o of_o remembrance_n we_o understande_v therefore_o by_o the_o lamp_n which_o be_v clear_a and_o bright_a joy_n and_o prosperity_n and_o by_o the_o darkness_n sorrow_n sadness_n ill_a luck_n and_o misery_n according_a as_o the_o scripture_n speak_v oftentimes_o of_o light_n and_o darkness_n shadow_n and_o obscurity_n and_o chief_o in_o job_n in_o the_o psalm_n and_o prophet_n but_o because_o light_n signify_v also_o knowledge_n and_o darkness_n ignorance_n some_o say_v that_o solomon_n mean_v here_o that_o rebellious_a and_o disobedient_a child_n shall_v be_v punish_v with_o great_a ignorance_n whereof_o ensue_v great_a decay_n for_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o those_o which_o can_v not_o guide_v themselves_o by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n must_v perish_v and_o so_o in_o what_o sense_n soever_o we_o take_v the_o lamp_n and_o darkness_n let_v we_o know_v that_o solomon_n pronounce_v for_o wicked_a child_n everlasting_a perdition_n 7._o 1._o kin._n 11._o &_o 15._o 4._o 2._o chr._n 21._o 7._o moreover_o because_o in_o the_o scripture_n a_o lamp_n be_v take_v for_o posterity_n one_o may_v say_v that_o solomon_n threaten_v unruly_a child_n that_o their_o offspring_n shall_v be_v of_o none_o endurance_n and_o the_o memory_n thereof_o soon_o abolish_v or_o that_o they_o shall_v have_v no_o issue_n as_o be_v see_v to_o come_v to_o pass_v in_o many_o obstinate_a child_n who_o because_o they_o have_v not_o have_v their_o parent_n in_o honour_n as_o they_o ought_v god_n have_v deprive_v they_o of_o issue_n and_o permit_v not_o that_o they_o shall_v enjoy_v that_o honourable_a title_n of_o father_n whereof_o also_o ensue_v that_o he_o disalow_v they_o for_o his_o child_n and_o so_o consequent_o they_o be_v the_o child_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o therefore_o in_o which_o of_o the_o three_o sense_n soever_o we_o take_v this_o sentence_n let_v we_o note_v that_o solomon_n foretell_v destruction_n to_o wicked_a child_n 21_o the_o heritage_n that_o be_v get_v in_o haste_n shall_v not_o be_v bless_v in_o the_o end_n it_o be_v a_o hard_a thing_n for_o a_o sensual_a man_n to_o endure_v poverty_n and_o therefore_o each_o one_o fly_v it_o as_o much_o as_o he_o can_v and_o follow_v the_o mean_n which_o he_o think_v will_v make_v he_o scotfree_a and_o hereby_o some_o haste_n to_o get_v a_o great_a heap_n of_o gold_n and_o silver_n other_o merchandise_n and_o other_o house_n and_o land_n they_o think_v that_o when_o they_o have_v be_v quick_a at_o the_o beginning_n and_o make_v haste_n too_o make_v themselves_o scotfree_a than_o they_o shall_v never_o have_v poverty_n but_o their_o good_n will_v increase_v and_o multiply_v and_o they_o shall_v grow_v every_o day_n rich_a and_o rich_a now_o because_o they_o which_o strive_v to_o enrich_v themselves_o in_o haste_n proceed_v therein_o with_o a_o evil_a conscience_n as_o they_o themselves_o well_o know_v for_o they_o will_v not_o that_o one_o shall_v proceed_v with_o they_o as_o they_o do_v with_o other_o and_o so_o saint_n paul_n show_v we_o their_o evil_a conscience_n for_o this_o cause_n they_o be_v at_o last_o frustrate_v of_o their_o attempt_n and_o their_o good_n decay_n at_o the_o twinkle_n 10._o 1._o tim._n 6._o 9_o 10._o of_o a_o eye_n and_o vanish_v away_o so_o that_o they_o fall_v into_o great_a poverty_n as_o many_o feel_v the_o proof_n thereof_o and_o solomon_n speak_v it_o say_v the_o heritage_n that_o be_v get_v in_o haste_n etc._n etc._n whereupon_o ensue_v that_o man_n enrich_v not_o himself_o in_o haste_v after_o the_o good_n of_o this_o world_n see_v that_o the_o heritage_n so_o get_v be_v not_o bless_v for_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o lord_n make_v scotfree_a which_o thing_n abraham_n and_o other_o holy_a father_n which_o be_v not_o covetous_a have_v 20._o pro._n 10._o 20._o prove_v as_o the_o scripture_n witness_v say_v that_o god_n have_v bless_v they_o and_o multiply_v they_o great_o on_o the_o other_o side_n achab_n and_o jezabel_n be_v covetous_a of_o naboth_n vineyard_n and_o have_v it_o by_o 9_o 1._o king_n 21._o rom._n 22._o rom._n 9_o and_o by_o but_o it_o be_v not_o bless_v with_o they_o also_o the_o thirty_o penny_n which_o judas_n receive_v be_v not_o bless_v with_o he_o let_v we_o understande_v therefore_o that_o in_o this_o sentence_n we_o be_v teach_v to_o do_v our_o business_n careful_o and_o attend_v with_o patience_n the_o good_n and_o profit_n which_o it_o shall_v please_v god_n to_o give_v we_o follow_v many_o admonition_n
