receive_v any_o reward_n for_o their_o pain_n but_o those_o that_o be_v poor_a and_o have_v little_a to_o live_v on_o may_v take_v a_o small_a reward_n from_o their_o scholar_n the_o brahmans_n also_o govern_v and_o serve_v in_o the_o pagode_n and_o notwithstanding_o the_o large_a munificence_n of_o their_o king_n and_o though_o they_o swallow_v a_o three_o part_n of_o the_o revenue_n of_o the_o country_n yet_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o great_a number_n many_o of_o they_o be_v very_o poor_a and_o force_v to_o beg_v however_o the_o great_a necessity_n must_v not_o compel_v they_o to_o learn_v any_o trade_n nor_o perform_v any_o servile_a office_n though_o for_o the_o king_n himself_o for_o if_o any_o brahman_n shall_v offer_v to_o do_v the_o same_o he_o will_v not_o only_o be_v despise_v by_o his_o companion_n but_o excommunicate_v nevertheless_o they_o be_v permit_v to_o be_v employ_v as_o secretary_n agent_n counsellor_n and_o the_o like_a for_o which_o business_n they_o be_v very_o
