provision_n shall_v be_v make_v for_o time_n to_o come_v who_o see_v not_o that_o extreme_a famine_n and_o hunger_n must_v needs_o short_o ensue_v and_o follow_v rebellion_n now_o whereas_o the_o wise_a king_n and_o godly_a prophet_n david_n judge_v war_n to_o be_v worse_o than_o either_o famine_n 14._o or_o pestilence_n for_o that_o these_o two_o be_v often_o suffer_v by_o god_n for_o man_n amendment_n and_o be_v not_o sin_n of_o themselves_o but_o war_n have_v always_o the_o sin_n and_o mischief_n of_o man_n upon_o the_o one_o side_n or_o other_o join_v with_o they_o and_o therefore_o rebellion_n then_o any_o other_o war_n as_o be_v far_o worse_o than_o all_o other_o war_n for_o not_o only_o those_o ordinary_a and_o usual_a mischief_n and_o misesery_n of_o other_o war_n do_v follow_v rebellion_n as_o corn_n and_o other_o thing_n necessary_a to_o man_n use_n to_o be_v spoil_v house_n village_n town_n city_n to_o be_v take_v sack_v burn_a &_o destroy_v not_o only_o many_o very_a wealthy_a man_n but_o whole_a country_n to_o be_v impoverish_v and_o utter_o beggar_a many_o thousand_o of_o man_n to_o be_v slay_v and_o murder_v woman_n and_o maid_n to_o be_v violate_v and_o deflower_v which_o thing_n when_o they_o be_v do_v by_o foreign_a enemy_n we_o do_v much_o mourn_v as_o we_o have_v great_a cause_n yet_o be_v all_o these_o misery_n without_o any_o wickedness_n wrought_v by_o any_o our_o countryman_n but_o when_o these_o mischief_n be_v wrought_v in_o rebellion_n by_o they_o that_o shall_v be_v friend_n by_o countryman_n by_o kynsman_n by_o those_o that_o shall_v defend_v their_o country_n and_o countryman_n from_o such_o misery_n the_o misery_n be_v nothing_o so_o great_a as_o be_v the_o mischief_n and_o wickedness_n when_o the_o subject_n unnatural_o restless_a ambitious_a have_v once_o determine_v by_o one_o mean_n or_o other_o to_o atcheeve_v to_o their_o intend_a purpose_n when_o they_o can_v not_o by_o lawful_a and_o peaceable_a mean_n climb_v so_o high_a as_o they_o do_v desire_v they_o attempt_v the_o same_o by_o force_n and_o violence_n wherein_o when_o they_o can_v not_o prevail_v against_o the_o ordinary_a authority_n and_o power_n of_o lawful_a prince_n and_o governor_n themselves_o alone_o they_o do_v seek_v the_o aid_n and_o help_v of_o the_o ignorant_a multitude_n abuse_v they_o to_o their_o wicked_a purpose_n wherefore_o desire_n of_o dominion_n enter_v once_o into_o ecclesiastical_a minister_n who_o greatness_n after_o the_o doctrine_n and_o example_n 27._o of_o our_o saviour_n shall_v chief_o stand_v in_o humble_v of_o themselves_o and_o that_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n be_v by_o the_o order_n of_o god_n word_n none_o other_o then_o the_o bishop_n of_o that_o one_o see_v and_o diocese_n and_o never_o yet_o well_o able_a to_o govern_v the_o same_o do_v by_o intolerable_a ambition_n challenge_v not_o only_o to_o be_v the_o head_n of_o all_o the_o church_n disperse_v throughout_o the_o world_n but_o also_o to_o be_v lord_n of_o all_o the_o kingdom_n glossa_fw-la of_o the_o world_n as_o be_v express_o set_v forth_o in_o the_o book_n of_o his_o own_o cannon_n law_n most_o contrary_a to_o the_o doctrine_n and_o example_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n who_o vicar_n and_o of_o his_o holy_a apostle_n namely_o peter_n who_o successor_n he_o pretend_v to_o be_v after_o his_o ambition_n enter_v and_o this_o challenge_v once_o make_v by_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n he_o become_v at_o once_o the_o spoiler_n &_o destroyer_n both_o of_o the_o church_n which_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o our_o saviour_n amity_n and_o love_n amongst_o the_o christian_n of_o all_o country_n hereupon_o begin_v emulation_n and_o much_o hatred_n between_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n and_o his_o clergy_n and_o friend_n on_o the_o one_o part_n and_o the_o grecian_a clergy_n and_o christian_n of_o the_o east_n on_o the_o other_o part_n for_o that_o they_o refuse_v to_o acknowledge_v any_o such_o supreme_a authority_n of_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n over_o they_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n for_o this_o cause_n amongst_o other_o not_o only_o name_a they_o and_o take_v they_o for_o schismatic_n but_o also_o never_o
