possible_a that_o a_o corrupt_a heart_n may_v recoil_v and_o fall_v back_o again_o therefore_o there_o be_v two_o help_n to_o put_v more_o life_n into_o meditation_n first_o labour_v to_o call_v in_o the_o help_n and_o assistance_n of_o conscience_n that_o meditation_n may_v be_v more_o fruitful_a and_o powerful_a conscience_n be_v a_o great_a commander_n it_o be_v god_n vicegerent_n and_o chief_a officer_n and_o god_n be_v the_o general_a overseer_n of_o all_o the_o affair_n of_o the_o world_n but_o conscience_n have_v authority_n to_o execute_v judgement_n according_a to_o the_o sentence_n god_n have_v reveal_v and_o have_v a_o great_a command_n with_o the_o heart_n then_o bare_a meditation_n have_v understanding_n and_o reason_n be_v but_o the_o underling_n of_o the_o will_n &_o they_o be_v but_o servant_n &_o subject_n to_o the_o will_n and_o these_o only_o suggest_v and_o advise_v unto_o the_o will_n what_o be_v good_a as_o a_o servant_n may_v suggest_v to_o his_o master_n what_o be_v good_a and_o yet_o his_o master_n may_v take_v what_o he_o list_v &_o refuse_v what_o he_o please_v in_o this_o kind_n but_o conscience_n have_v a_o great_a command_n rom._n 2.15_o conscience_n you_o show_v she_o some_o comfort_n why_o say_v the_o minister_n what_o needs_o â—hee_o any_o comfort_n see_v she_o be_v never_o in_o distress_n oh_o say_v he_o she_o have_v live_v a_o honest_a quiet_a woman_n and_o so_o by_o this_o mean_v we_o hear_v of_o nothing_o but_o good_a i_o will_v fain_o wrest_v this_o madness_n out_o of_o the_o heart_n of_o carnal_a wretch_n when_o the_o lord_n have_v they_o upon_o the_o rack_n than_o their_o conscience_n be_v full_a of_o horror_n and_o they_o know_v not_o which_o way_n to_o take_v yet_o they_o scorn_v to_o acknowledge_v any_o thing_n be_v rid_v of_o they_o as_o a_o man_n that_o be_v sick_a he_o will_v not_o send_v to_o the_o physician_n because_o he_o think_v he_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v it_o out_o till_o at_o last_o the_o disease_n begin_v to_o fester_v inward_o &_o all_o the_o physician_n under_o heaven_n can_v cure_v he_o if_o he_o have_v send_v in_o time_n he_o may_v have_v be_v ease_v so_o it_o be_v with_o many_o sinful_a creature_n out_o of_o a_o sturdy_a stoutness_n of_o heart_n they_o scorn_v to_o confess_v their_o corruption_n well_o now_o god_n open_v their_o eye_n and_o they_o begin_v to_o say_v this_o be_v not_o well_o and_o that_o be_v not_o well_o but_o you_o will_v not_o send_v for_o the_o minister_n all_o this_o while_n if_o it_o be_v horror_n of_o conscience_n you_o will_v bear_v it_o well_o at_o last_o you_o come_v to_o your_o death_n bed_n and_o the_o lord_n lay_v his_o heavy_a hand_n upon_o you_o and_o then_o you_o cry_v for_o the_o minister_n and_o all_o oh_o say_v one_o woe_n to_o i_o because_o of_o this_o adulterous_a heart_n this_o drunkenness_n and_o this_o malice_n and_o this_o madness_n against_o god_n and_o his_o people_n i_o be_v a_o cunning_a persecutor_n and_o with_o such_o a_o woman_n i_o commit_v adultery_n and_o at_o last_o when_o he_o have_v end_v his_o confession_n he_o sink_v and_o die_v now_o the_o minister_n come_v too_o late_o you_o will_v bear_v the_o
