evil_a to_o be_v hate_v and_o reprobate_v of_o god_n what_o great_a good_a will_v it_o be_v to_o be_v belove_v of_o he_o and_o to_o remain_v in_o his_o favour_n this_o true_o be_v a_o axiom_n of_o the_o philosopher_n that_o a_o thing_n be_v so_o much_o the_o better_a by_o how_o much_o his_o contrary_n be_v worse_a and_o therefore_o it_o necessary_o follow_v that_o that_o be_v the_o chief_a good_a who_o opposite_a be_v the_o chief_a evil_n as_o we_o have_v say_v that_o that_o be_v to_o be_v hate_v of_o god._n but_o if_o in_o this_o world_n it_o be_v esteem_v a_o matter_n of_o great_a comparison_n of_o who_o all_o the_o principality_n and_o dignity_n of_o this_o world_n be_v as_o though_o they_o be_v not_o which_o favour_n also_o be_v so_o much_o the_o great_a by_o how_o much_o more_o it_o be_v free_o give_v for_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o as_o it_o be_v unpossible_a for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v able_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n before_o he_o be_v create_v whereby_o he_o may_v deserve_v to_o be_v create_v for_o then_o he_o be_v not_o any_o thing_n so_o also_o without_o all_o doubt_n be_v it_o that_o he_o can_v do_v nothing_o after_o that_o he_o be_v fall_v into_o sin_n whereby_o he_o may_v deserve_v justification_n not_o because_o he_o be_v not_o but_o because_o he_o be_v evil_a and_o hate_v of_o god_n punishment_n another_o benefit_n follow_v this_o go_v before_o abide_v where_o no_o joy_n be_v find_v no_o peace_n no_o rest_n no_o content_n no_o hope_n but_o perpetual_a complain_v and_o everlasting_a gnash_n of_o tooth_n exceed_v outragiousnes_n and_o fury_n continual_a blasphemy_n and_o eternal_a malediction_n from_o all_o these_o evil_n the_o lord_n have_v deliver_v all_o they_o who_o he_o have_v justify_v who_o after_o that_o they_o be_v reconcile_v to_o he_o and_o receive_v into_o his_o favour_n they_o be_v free_a from_o this_o wrath_n and_o from_o the_o punishment_n of_o his_o vengeance_n behold_v a_o other_o benefit_n more_o spiritual_a which_o be_v the_o reformation_n and_o renovation_n of_o the_o inward_a man_n man_n which_o be_v defile_v and_o pollute_v through_o sin_n for_o sin_n do_v not_o only_o deprive_v the_o soul_n of_o god_n but_o also_o do_v spoil_n and_o rob_v it_o of_o all_o supernatural_a strength_n and_o fortitude_n and_o of_o all_o other_o riches_n and_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n with_o which_o it_o be_v adorn_v beautify_a and_o enrich_v by_o and_o by_o after_o that_o it_o be_v deprive_v of_o these_o grace_n it_o be_v wound_v maim_a and_o deprive_v also_o of_o the_o natural_a blessing_n for_o see_v that_o man_n be_v a_o reasonable_a creature_n and_o sin_n be_v a_o work_n do_v against_o reason_n and_o see_v that_o it_o be_v natural_a that_o one_o contrary_v shall_v destroy_v a_o other_o ready_a to_o all_o evil_a weak_a and_o feeble_a to_o resist_v temptation_n and_o flow_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n commandment_n they_o deprive_v she_o also_o of_o the_o true_a liberty_n and_o rule_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o they_o make_v she_o the_o captain_n of_o the_o devil_n the_o world_n the_o flesh_n and_o of_o her_o own_o appetite_n and_o by_o this_o mean_v she_o live_v in_o captivity_n more_o hard_a and_o intolerable_a then_o that_o of_o babylon_n and_o egypt_n furthermore_o all_o the_o spiritual_a power_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v make_v also_o sluggish_a and_o slothful_a so_o that_o they_o do_v not_o hear_v divine_a inspiration_n and_o heavenly_a voice_n they_o do_v not_o see_v the_o great_a evil_n prepare_v for_o they_o they_o do_v not_o smell_v the_o sweet_a favour_n of_o virtue_n nor_o the_o most_o beautiful_a path_n and_o example_n of_o the_o saint_n they_o do_v not_o taste_v how_o sweet_a the_o lord_n be_v neither_o do_v they_o feel_v the_o scourge_n nor_o acknowledge_v the_o benefit_n by_o which_o they_o be_v provoke_v unto_o his_o love_n and_o beside_o all_o these_o they_o take_v away_o the_o peace_n and_o joy_n of_o the_o conscience_n they_o do_v extinguish_v the_o heat_n and_o fervor_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o do_v leave_v a_o man_n filthy_a blemish_v deform_a and_o abominable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o all_o his_o saint_n from_o all_o these_o evil_n this_o benefit_n do_v deliver_v us._n for_o so_o bottomless_a be_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o he_o be_v not_o content_a to_o have_v pardon_v great_a that_o when_o it_o be_v make_v by_o baptism_n it_o be_v call_v regeneration_n but_o when_o by_o repentance_n it_o be_v call_v a_o resurrection_n and_o rise_v again_o not_o only_o because_o the_o soul_n be_v raise_v from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n to_o the_o life_n of_o grace_n but_o because_o after_o a_o certain_a manner_n it_o also_o imitate_v the_o beauty_n of_o the_o future_a resurrection_n this_o be_v so_o true_a soul_n that_o no_o tongue_n of_o man_n be_v sufficient_a to_o express_v the_o beauty_n of_o a_o justify_v soul_n this_o only_a know_v that_o spirit_n that_o make_v it_o beautiful_a and_o his_o temple_n
where_o there_o be_v no_o desire_n or_o concupiscence_n there_o be_v no_o chain_n no_o captivity_n insomuch_o that_o the_o hart_n because_o it_o have_v find_v the_o lord_n of_o all_o therefore_o it_o
