which_o they_o never_o intend_v to_o part_v with_o whatever_o come_v on_o it_o and_o the_o stupid_a senseless_a one_o that_o know_v not_o the_o worth_n nor_o see_v the_o need_n of_o this_o ordinance_n or_o any_o other_o duty_n of_o religion_n who_o live_v as_o heathenish_o as_o if_o they_o have_v never_o hear_v of_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o another_o world_n nor_o do_v they_o care_v to_o be_v instruct_v in_o these_o point_n as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o at_o all_o concern_v in_o they_o or_o else_o they_o be_v such_o that_o abstain_v from_o it_o out_o of_o doubt_v and_o fear_n not_o think_v themselves_o worthy_a or_o not_o know_v whether_o they_o be_v worthy_a or_o not_o of_o this_o sort_n there_o be_v many_o excellent_a christian_n who_o too_o much_o indulge_v to_o their_o own_o melancholy_a and_o despondent_a apprehension_n and_o also_o many_o weak_a but_o i_o hope_v honest_a well-meaning_a people_n who_o seem_v to_o have_v a_o great_a esteem_n for_o this_o sacrament_n but_o have_v always_o hear_v what_o a_o dangerous_a thing_n it_o be_v to_o receive_v it_o unworthy_o dare_v not_o venture_v upon_o it_o not_o be_v well_o acquaint_v wâ—th_v the_o nature_n and_o reason_n of_o it_o and_o be_v doubtful_a whether_o they_o be_v fit_a to_o come_v or_o not_o be_v also_o i_o fear_v too_o languid_a and_o heartless_a in_o desire_v after_o it_o or_o in_o make_v preparation_n for_o it_o and_o for_o such_o as_o these_o principal_o do_v i_o intend_v my_o direction_n by_o those_o that_o be_v guilty_a of_o miscarriage_n in_o the_o do_n of_o this_o duty_n i_o mean_v such_o as_o wherefore_o beware_v of_o pretend_v so_o much_o reverence_n for_o this_o ordinance_n and_o so_o much_o necessity_n of_o preparation_n that_o lest_o you_o shall_v not_o demean_v yourselves_o as_o you_o ought_v you_o will_v whole_o neglect_v it_o for_o sure_a you_o can_v think_v this_o according_a to_o your_o master_n will_n that_o you_o shall_v run_v away_o from_o your_o work_n for_o fear_v of_o miscarry_v in_o it_o nor_o pretend_v that_o this_o be_v of_o a_o nature_n so_o much_o different_a from_o all_o other_o duty_n that_o whilst_o you_o may_v do_v they_o you_o may_v not_o be_v admit_v to_o this_o since_o if_o you_o be_v sincere_a and_o hearty_a in_o one_o as_o well_o as_o another_o endeavour_v to_o improve_v they_o to_o the_o end_n for_o which_o they_o be_v appoint_v even_o to_o get_v near_o to_o god_n thereby_o be_v sure_a you_o shall_v be_v accept_v in_o all_o moreover_o bethink_v yourselves_o what_o you_o will_v have_v do_v have_v you_o live_v in_o the_o first_o age_n of_o the_o church_n when_o the_o christian_n be_v wont_n for_o the_o most_o part_n at_o every_o time_n of_o their_o assemble_v to_o have_v a_o sacrament_n will_v you_o then_o have_v ordinary_o with-drawn_a from_o they_o or_o will_v you_o not_o rather_o have_v content_v yourselves_o with_o that_o measure_n of_o preparation_n that_o you_o have_v then_o be_v capable_a of_o make_v though_o think_v not_o that_o i_o be_o this_o while_n encourage_v you_o to_o laziness_n or_o to_o rush_v heedless_o and_o inconsiderate_o hereupon_o no_o be_v as_o diligent_a as_o ever_o you_o be_v able_a to_o prepare_v ordinance_n by_o your_o constant_a reverend_a attend_v upon_o they_o other_o there_o be_v that_o may_v complain_v of_o their_o unfitnesse_n who_o find_v themselves_o at_o a_o loss_n in_o their_o preparation_n for_o this_o duty_n which_o yet_o they_o be_v very_o willing_a to_o set_v about_o and_o be_v desirous_a of_o instruction_n for_o their_o right_a performance_n of_o it_o for_o these_o dare_v appeal_n to_o the_o conscience_n of_o many_o whether_o such_o as_o these_o have_v not_o be_v their_o thought_n reader_n have_v they_o not_o be_v thy_o own_o and_o common_o it_o be_v either_o tipple_a or_o wantonness_n or_o love_n to_o a_o idle_a and_o jolly_a life_n and_o a_o listlesnesse_n to_o all_o pain_n and_o diligence_n in_o spiritual_a affair_n and_o a_o misapprehension_n of_o serious_a holiness_n as_o if_o it_o be_v a_o most_o troublesome_a rigid_a thing_n that_o be_v the_o ordinary_a cause_n of_o these_o and_o most_o man_n continuance_n at_o a_o distance_n from_o
