also_o observe_v religious_o without_o any_o kind_n of_o contradiction_n of_o their_o always_o constant_a doctrine_n for_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o depose_v king_n in_o certain_a case_n and_o the_o unlawfulness_n for_o the_o people_n or_o any_o person_n to_o uphold_v they_o or_o obey_v or_o bear_v allegiance_n or_o faith_n to_o they_o after_o they_o be_v so_o depose_v by_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o pope_n or_o people_n for_o all_o these_o writer_n and_o their_o scholar_n confess_v that_o subject_n be_v bind_v by_o the_o very_a law_n of_o god_n to_o bear_v inviolable_a faith_n and_o true_a allegiance_n to_o the_o temporal_a prince_n king_n or_o majesty_n lawful_o such_o and_o teach_v that_o a_o promise_n of_o such_o faith_n or_o allegiance_n be_v lawful_a and_o bind_v but_o withal_o whether_o only_a corporal_n or_o material_a and_o carnal_a compulsory_a force_n of_o man_n and_o arm_n which_o they_o leave_v very_o doubtful_a to_o such_o at_o least_o as_o know_v not_o they_o purposely_o omit_v the_o adjective_n spiritual_a which_o yet_o in_o so_o many_o other_o former_a remonstrance_n and_o in_o some_o offer_v by_o the_o very_a jesuit_n three_o year_n since_o be_v not_o omit_v for_o to_o other_o that_o know_v they_o purposely_o omit_v that_o word_n spiritual_n it_o may_v seem_v more_o than_o probable_a they_o intend_v thereby_o or_o by_o these_o bare_a word_n power_n on_o earth_n to_o equivocat_n and_o impose_v but_o to_o say_v nothing_o hereof_o at_o present_a nor_o of_o the_o liberty_n they_o leave_v other_o that_o will_v subscribe_v or_o interpret_v to_o choose_v what_o meaning_n they_o list_v to_o deceive_v and_o impose_v likewise_o it_o be_v manifest_a enough_o to_o such_o as_o understand_v they_o and_o see_v their_o unreasonable_a obstinacy_n on_o the_o public_a debate_n that_o consequent_o to_o their_o meaning_n in_o the_o first_o branch_n of_o their_o promise_n this_o second_o part_n be_v understand_v by_o they_o they_o promise_v indeed_o that_o no_o power_n on_o earth_n shall_v be_v able_a to_o withdraw_v they_o from_o their_o duty_n herein_o to_o wit_n in_o bear_v true_a allegiance_n to_o his_o majesty_n etc._n etc._n but_o when_o or_o if_o the_o case_n of_o deposition_n deprivation_n excommunication_n etc._n etc._n shall_v happen_v they_o will_v confess_v ingenuous_o that_o some_o spiritual_a or_o temporal_a authority_n on_o earth_n may_v in_o that_o case_n make_v they_o recee_v and_o perhaps_o declare_v too_o against_o he_o that_o till_o then_o be_v in_o some_o sense_n their_o king_n but_o not_o in_o any_o wise_a break_v their_o promise_n here_o nor_o withdraw_v they_o from_o their_o duty_n in_o bear_v allegiance_n to_o his_o majesty_n for_o it_o be_v their_o belief_n opinion_n sense_n and_o doctrine_n that_o in_o such_o case_n they_o will_v owe_v no_o duty_n of_o allegiance_n or_o faith_n to_o charles_n the_o second_o but_o will_v rather_o lie_v under_o a_o quite_o contrary_a duty_n and_o obligation_n and_o even_o a_o tie_n of_o conscience_n and_o under_o pain_n of_o sin_n and_o excommunication_n when_o that_o case_n shall_v happen_v to_o prosecute_v he_o as_o a_o public_a enemy_n a_o usurper_n a_o traitor_n and_o tyrant_n the_o thing_n signify_v therefore_o say_v they_o by_o the_o word_n of_o their_o promise_n here_o subsist_v no_o long_o or_o be_v no_o more_o in_o such_o case_n nor_o any_o possibility_n of_o it_o i_o mean_v of_o any_o more_o duty_n of_o allegiance_n or_o faith_n to_o charles_n be_v no_o more_o king_n they_o have_v for_o their_o part_n keep_v and_o observe_v religious_o what_o they_o promise_v if_o they_o keep_v it_o until_o such_o case_n happen_v which_o be_v the_o reason_n they_o mend_v not_o the_o matter_n at_o all_o nor_o any_o way_n clear_v themselves_o herein_o by_o what_o next_o follow_v in_o the_o three_o place_n and_o in_o this_o other_o expression_n of_o they_o and_o that_o we_o will_v even_o to_o the_o loss_n of_o our_o blood_n if_o occasion_n require_v
