belove_a and_o the_o prosperity_n of_o this_o world_n as_o be_v between_o a_o minute_n of_o a_o hour_n and_o eternity_n between_o death_n and_o life_n between_o misery_n and_o happiness_n for_o as_o the_o prosperity_n of_o this_o life_n depend_v upon_o a_o reed_n so_o the_o happiness_n promise_v in_o christ_n be_v uphold_v by_o the_o everlasting_a truth_n of_o god_n that_o it_o be_v unpossible_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v deceive_v of_o their_o hope_n which_o continue_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n unto_o their_o life_n end_n fourthlie_o of_o these_o thing_n let_v a_o godly_a man_n gather_v how_o it_o be_v a_o much_o better_a and_o bless_a thing_n to_o renounce_v worldly_a good_n as_o far_o as_o godly_a &_o christianity_n they_o stand_v not_o according_a to_o god_n word_n than_o for_o they_o to_o bring_v the_o soul_n into_o y_o e_o danger_n of_o damnation_n to_o conclude_v that_o we_o be_v neither_o puffed-up_a nor_o carried-quite_a from_o god_n by_o prosperity_n there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n as_o to_o call_v into_o mind_n the_o humiliation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o cross_n who_o therefore_o be_v humble_v that_o he_o may_v exalt_v we_o if_o so_o be_v we_o do_v humble_a ourselves_o under_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o god_n and_o be_v not_o ashamed_a of_o the_o cross_n of_o christ._n 6._o for_o whosoever_o exalt_v himself_o shall_v be_v bring_v low_o and_o he_o that_o humble_v himself_o 11._o shall_v be_v exalt_v we_o be_v therefore_o to_o take_v special_a heed_n lest_o our_o flesh_n through_o prosperous_a success_n of_o thing_n do_v deceive_v and_o kill_v we_o be_v take_v with_o a_o certain_a bait_n for_o that_o serpent_n which_o beguile_v euah_n of_o his_o subtlety_n snatch_v every_o occasion_n to_o withdraw_v we_o from_o christ_n 26._o and_o set_v upon_o the_o principal_a part_n of_o man_n to_o destroy_v it_o with_o prosperity_n and_o therefore_o say_v paul_n brethren_n you_o see_v your_o call_n how_o that_o not_o many_o wise_a man_n after_o the_o flesh_n not_o many_o mighty_a not_o many_o noble_a be_v call_v for_o to_o the_o destruction_n of_o man_n sathan_n abuse_v these_o three_o thing_n namely_o wisdom_n power_n and_o man_n so_o then_o against_o this_o tentation_n oppose_v y_z e_o cross_n of_o christ_n without_o which_o all_o wisdom_n be_v but_o mere_a foolishness_n all_o might_n be_v but_o weakness_n all_o nobility_n be_v but_o ignominy_n and_o all_o pleasure_n be_v but_o the_o food_n of_o death_n for_o all_o these_o mix_v with_o too_o much_o bitterness_n have_v a_o end_n with_o this_o life_n if_o therefore_o thou_o will_v have_v true_a wisdom_n 3._o true_a might_n true_a nobility_n true_a pleasure_n and_o glory_n seek_v they_o in_o christ_n alone_o &_o thou_o shall_v find_v in_o who_o be_v hide_v all_o the_o treasure_n of_o celestial_a rest_n to_o conclude_v at_o the_o point_n of_o death_n the_o sight_n of_o the_o priest_n christ_n
