those_o law_n of_o praemunire_n be_v real_o intend_v against_o though_o such_o can_v escape_v they_o we_o can_v appeal_v to_o god_n angel_n and_o all_o just_a impartial_a man_n this_o be_v our_o case_n we_o be_v not_o the_o people_n which_o in_o point_n of_o equity_n or_o justice_n the_o law_n can_v ever_o be_v intend_v against_o we_o be_v of_o no_o such_o destructive_a principle_n or_o practice_n as_o either_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o oath_n point_v at_o and_o intend_v or_o the_o statute_n of_o praemunire_n 16_o r._n 2._o c._n 5._o be_v provide_v against_o unto_o which_o statute_n both_o that_o of_o the_o 3d_o of_o k._n james_n c._n 4._o and_o seven_o of_o k._n ja._n c._n 6._o do_v refer_v for_o the_o penalty_n of_o a_o pramunire_n upon_o person_n refuse_v to_o swear_v to_o the_o dealaration_n of_o their_o allegiance_n let_v that_o of_o 16_o r._n 2._o c._n 5._o be_v consider_v as_o to_o the_o nature_n and_o intent_n thereof_o anno_fw-la deccimo_fw-la sexto_fw-la ricardi_n 2._o c._n 5._o the_o title_n praemunire_n for_o purchase_v of_o bull_n from_o rome_n the_o crown_n of_o england_n subject_n to_o none_o the_o conclusive_a clause_n of_o the_o offence_n and_o the_o penalty_n viz._n whereupon_o our_o say_a lord_n the_o king_n by_o the_o assent_n aforesaid_a and_o at_o the_o request_n of_o his_o say_a commons_o have_v ordain_v and_o establish_v that_o if_o any_o purchase_n or_o pursue_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v purchase_v or_o pursue_v in_o the_o court_n of_o rome_n or_o elsewhere_o any_o such_o translation_n process_n and_o sentence_n of_o excommunication_n bull_n instrument_n or_o any_o other_o thing_n whatsoever_o which_o touch_v the_o king_n against_o he_o his_o crown_n and_o his_o regalty_n or_o his_o realm_n and_o they_o which_o bring_v within_o the_o realm_n or_o they_o receive_v or_o make_v thereof_o notification_n or_o any_o other_o execution_n whatsoever_o within_o the_o same_o realm_n or_o without_o that_o they_o their_o notary_n procurator_n maintainer_n abettor_n fautor_n and_o counsellor_n shall_v be_v put_v out_o of_o the_o king_n protection_n and_o their_o land_n and_o tenement_n good_n and_o chattel_n forfeit_v to_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n and_o that_o they_o be_v attach_v by_o their_o body_n if_o they_o may_v be_v find_v and_o bring_v before_o the_o king_n and_o his_o council_n there_o to_o answer_v to_o the_o cause_n aforesaid_a or_o that_o process_n be_v make_v against_o they_o by_o praemunire_n facias_fw-la etc._n etc._n animadversion_n now_o it_o be_v unto_o this_o statute_n cite_v 16_o r._n 2._o and_o the_o penalty_n of_o praemunire_n therein_o mention_v that_o those_o of_o king_n james_n about_o refuse_v the_o oath_n do_v refer_v the_o justice_n as_o to_o the_o penalty_n hence_o these_o two_o thing_n be_v observable_a 1._o the_o nature_n of_o the_o offence_n or_o fact_n incur_v such_o severe_a sentence_n and_o penalty_n as_o that_o of_o praemunire_n 2._o the_o nature_n of_o the_o penalty_n if_o self_n first_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o offence_n or_o fact_n be_v very_o criminal_a it_o be_v treacherous_a and_o treasonable_a as_o that_o of_o purchase_v pursue_v or_o precuring_a in_o the_o court_n of_o rome_n etc._n etc._n sentence_n of_o excommunication_n eull_n instrument_n etc._n etc._n which_o touch_v the_o king_n his_o crown_n and_o regality_n second_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o penalty_n of_o pramunire_n be_v suitable_a to_o the_o fact_n it_o bear_v a_o proportion_n and_o be_v adopt_v thereto_o as_o that_o the_o person_n so_o high_o offend_v and_o such_o perfidious_a enemy_n against_o the_o king_n his_o regality_n or_o government_n by_o purchase_v sentence_n of_o excommunication_n and_o bull_n from_o rome_n against_o the_o king_n tend_v to_o destroy_v he_o and_o subvert_v his_o government_n shall_v incur_v the_o penalty_n of_o be_v put_v out_o of_o the_o king_n protection_n their_o land_n tenement_n good_n and_o chattel_n forfeit_v to_o the_o king_n and_o their_o body_n attach_v and_o they_o bring_v before_o the_o king_n and_o council_n to_o answer_v etc._n etc._n for_o how_o shall_v they_o desire_v the_o king_n protection_n and_o to_o enjoy_v their_o privilege_n under_o he_o who_o purchase_v bull_n from_o rome_n in_o order_n to_o destroy_v he_o which_o be_v still_o a_o offence_n of_o the_o same_o nature_n and_o hind_n that_o the_o oath_n of_o allegiance_n and_o the_o act_n require_v it_o in_o king_n james_n his_o day_n be_v intend_v and_o provide_v
