pardon_n that_o do_v not_o only_o contemn_v the_o same_o but_o so_o hate_v it_o that_o they_o be_v by_o the_o offer_n thereof_o worse_o than_o before_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v come_v to_o in_o they_o this_o sinne._n the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o messiah_n they_o know_v w●_n enough_o and_o approve_v it_o as_o a●●_n they_o affect_v with_o great_a devoti●●_n those_o mystical_a rite_n and_o ceremony_n of_o the_o jewish_a gospel_n that_o s●dowed_v out_o the_o same_o this_o only_o be_v it_o which_o they_o can_v not_o endurre_v the_o direct_a light_n and_o truth_n of_o it_o in_o particular_a present_v itself_o to_o the_o eye_n of_o their_o conscience_n for_o example_n in_o tapestry_n and_o imagery_n we_o can_v with_o delight_n behold_v the_o portraiture_n of_o serpent_n toad_n fox_n wolf_n and_o other_o filthy_a beast_n that_o we_o can_v when_o themselves_o in_o themselves_o shall_v be_v present_v unto_o we_o but_o fly_v from_o they_o or_o pursue_v they_o to_o death_n even_o so_o be_v it_o with_o many_o professor_n of_o christ_n that_o though_o they_o seem_v much_o affect_v to_o christ_n in_o general_a and_o much_o devote_v to_o every_o shadow_n and_o word_n whereby_o they_o begin_v to_o give_v glory_n to_o christ_n as_o the_o messiah_n and_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n be_v the_o midwife_n that_o borough_n forth_o this_o sinne._n whence_o observe_v we_o these_o conclusion_n concern_v this_o sinne._n the_o first_o conclusion_n the_o cause_n that_o irritate_v and_o provoke_v man_n unto_o this_o blasphemy_n be_v not_o within_o themselves_o but_o out_o of_o themselves_o the_o matter_n of_o this_o sin_n be_v within_o themselves_o but_o the_o irritate_v cause_n be_v out_o of_o themselves_o for_o if_o this_o divine_a light_n have_v shine_v never_o so_o bright_o upon_o their_o own_o soul_n howsoever_o they_o may_v have_v malist_v the_o same_o yet_o they_o will_v never_o in_o that_o manner_n have_v spit_v out_o blasphemy_n into_o the_o care_n of_o man_n against_o it_o for_o they_o know_v well_o enough_o that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o as_o they_o say_v and_o therefore_o have_v it_o not_o be_v more_o in_o regard_n of_o other_o than_o themselves_o they_o will_v never_o have_v say_v so_o and_o thus_o it_o be_v in_o the_o extreme_a malicious_a speech_n of_o many_o concern_v man_n man_n be_v wont_v by_o see_v other_o be_v by_o nature_n that_o turn_v all_o into_o poison_n and_o sin_n make_v all_o thing_n matter_n to_o feed_v sin_n and_o rebellion_n against_o god_n so_o that_o as_o a_o wolf_n though_o he_o feed_v upon_o nothing_o but_o lamb_n yet_o still_o remain_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o wolf_n and_o be_v the_o more_o wolvish_a rather_o than_o otherwise_o and_o even_o turn_v the_o flesh_n of_o a_o lamb_n into_o his_o own_o nature_n even_o so_o natural_o will_v we_o do_v with_o god_n favour_n and_o benefit_n be_v we_o follow_v even_o with_o they_o alone_o 2_o to_o admonish_v we_o to_o take_v heed_n how_o we_o abuse_v any_o gift_n or_o grace_n of_o god_n to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o god_n for_o whensoever_o we_o so_o do_v we_o be_v in_o the_o highway_n to_o this_o sin_n and_o we_o have_v our_o footstep_n print_v in_o the_o path_n that_o lead_v thereunto_o the_o three_o conclusion_n the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v not_o only_o a_o sin_n against_o the_o love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n or_o against_o god_n for_o his_o gift_n and_o grace_n but_o even_o a_o sin_n against_o the_o very_a gift_n and_o grace_n themselves_o and_o not_o a_o sin_n whereby_o we_o abuse_v those_o grace_n and_o gift_n to_o other_o end_n and_o purpose_n but_o a_o sin_n whereby_o we_o oppugn_v and_o resist_v and_o disgrace_n and_o wilful_o deface_v the_o say_v grace_n direct_o and_o immediate_o for_o example_n the_o father_n give_v his_o elder_a son_n money_n the_o prince_n his_o subject_n a_o jewel_n this_o son_n or_o this_o subject_n spend_v this_o money_n or_o jewel_n in_o game_n gluttony_n venery_n and_o riot_n this_o be_v a_o abuse_n both_o of_o father_n and_o king_n and_o of_o the_o gift_n themselves_o also_o to_o employ_v they_o to_o such_o base_a use_n but_o this_o be_v a_o disgrace_n in_o a_o far_o high_a degree_n that_o touch_v both_o more_o direct_o and_o immediate_o when_o they_o shall_v offer_v disgrace_n to_o the_o gift_n itself_o fling_v it_o away_o deface_v it_o trample_v it_o under_o their_o foot_n or_o the_o like_a all_o of_o we_o when_o we_o turn_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n into_o wantonness_n and_o vanity_n into_o pride_n and_o vainglory_n do_v sin_n both_o against_o god_n and_o his_o grace_n but_o when_o we_o offer_v despite_n and_o indignity_n unto_o they_o of_o purpose_n and_o direct_o this_o be_v a_o fearful_a and_o horrible_a sinne._n 1_o note_v hence_o the_o vileness_n of_o our_o nature_n and_o the_o rebelliousness●_n of_o they_o that_o do_v not_o only_a h●●●_n god_n but_o hate_v the_o very_a gift_n and_o graces_n also_o that_o come_v from_o god_n m●●_n many_o time_n may_v give_v a_o gift_n that_o i●_n not_o worthy_a of_o any_o account_n ye●_n that_o deserve_v disgrace_n as_o if_o a_o kin●_n shall_v give_v one_o of_o his_o noble_n i●_n way_n of_o reward_n for_o some_o piece_n o●_n service_n a_o piece_n of_o bread_n or_o some_o suc●_n trifle_n but_o there_o be_v not_o the_o base●_n gift_n that_o god_n bestow_v but_o it_o 〈◊〉_d worthy_a honour_n and_o esteem_v and_o i●_n such_o as_o shall_v make_v we_o love_v god_n the_o more_o 2_o when_o we_o feel_v our_o mind_n rise_v and_o lift_v up_o themselves_o in_o the_o person_n himself_o that_o commit_v the_o sin_n or_o in_o the_o person_n of_o some_o other_o the_o answer_n be_v that_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n partly_o against_o the_o gift_n in_o themselves_o and_o partly_o against_o the_o same_o in_o other_o it_o be_v commit_v against_o both_o a_o man_n will_v never_o in_o such_o a_o manner_n despite_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o himself_o if_o he_o perceive_v it_o not_o in_o another_o neither_o will_v he_o ever_o have_v despit_v it_o in_o another_o except_o it_o have_v be_v in_o himself_o for_o there_o be_v in_o such_o wicked_a person_n as_o the_o holy_a ghost_n they_o see_v with_o the_o very_a eye_n of_o their_o conscience_n that_o jesus_n the_o son_n of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n be_v that_o messiah_n that_o christ_n that_o son_n of_o that_o hate_v revile_v and_o persecute_v though_o with_o the_o high_a malice_n any_o gift_n or_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o another_o if_o that_o gift_n or_o grace_n be_v not_o in_o some_o measure_n in_o himself_o for_o the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v a_o sin_n against_o a_o gift_n receive_v by_o the_o person_n that_o commit_v the_o sin_n and_o not_o only_o against_o one_o receive_v by_o another_o but_o both_o do_v necessary_o concur_v the_o one_o be_v not_o without_o the_o other_o use_v 1_o in_o this_o respect_n paul_n himself_o before_o his_o conversion_n though_o he_o be_v a_o might_n persecuter_n of_o all_o christian_n and_o go_v from_o place_n to_o place_n pant_v and_o breathe_v after_o christian_a blood_n and_o blaspheme_a christ_n yet_o forasmuch_o as_o he_o be_v not_o
