ruler_n as_o emperor_n king_n prince_n lord_n etc._n etc._n so_o to_o appoint_v they_o as_o shall_v be_v think_v most_o convenient_a and_o meet_a for_o the_o mayntenaunce_n and_o conservation_n of_o the_o public_a weal_n but_o this_o spiritual_a regiment_n and_o ecclesiastical_a power_n be_v appoint_v only_o for_o sin_n where_o the_o matter_n of_o sin_n be_v there_o have_v this_o regiment_n and_o power_n place_n otherwise_o it_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v for_o of_o this_o must_v we_o great_o take_v head_n affair_n that_o we_o make_v not_o a_o confusion_n in_o these_o ij_o regiment_n as_o the_o pope_n and_o his_o byshoppe_n have_v do_v which_o have_v so_o abuse_v the_o spiritual_a regiment_n that_o they_o have_v also_o get_v unto_o they_o the_o temporal_a regiment_n and_o civil_a power_n and_o be_v now_o become_v temporal_a lord_n yea_o and_o of_o such_o power_n that_o they_o make_v emperor_n king_n prince_n lord_n etc._n etc._n to_o be_v their_o subject_n yea_o their_o slave_n but_o christ_n give_v this_o never_n in_o commandment_n to_o his_o disciple_n neither_o send_v he_o they_o forth_o to_o meddle_v with_o temporal_a matter_n and_o with_o the_o kingdom_n of_o this_o world_n but_o he_o only_o appoint_v unto_o they_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n minister_n and_o with_o it_o the_o regiment_n of_o sin_n so_o that_o their_o office_n be_v nothing_o else_o then_o to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n and_o to_o declare_v remission_n of_o sin_n to_o all_o such_o as_o be_v penitent_a break_v in_o heart_n trouble_v in_o mind_n disquiet_v in_o conscience_n etc._n etc._n again_o to_o retain_v hold_n and_o bind_v their_o sin_n that_o be_v impenitent_a and_o stubborn_a and_o go_v forth_o to_o sin_n without_o repentance_n or_o conversion_n to_o prescribe_v unto_o the_o household_n precept_n of_o ploughinge_a and_o cart_v of_o maryeng_v of_o order_v thy_o family_n and_o household_n etc._n etc._n for_o god_n have_v give_v the_o reason_n to_o know_v how_o thou_o shall_v behave_v thyself_o in_o all_o these_o thing_n if_o thou_o doubt_v in_o any_o worldly_a matter_n there_o be_v juriste_n man_n of_o law_n worldly_a councillor_n civil_a wise_a man_n &_o such_o like_a which_o can_v right_v well_o supply_v thy_o lack_n and_o geve_v the_o good_a and_o profitable_a council_n in_o this_o behalf_n the_o commission_n that_o be_v commit_v church_n among_o so_o many_o seducinge_v sect_n that_o the_o true_a church_n may_v perceive_v that_o as_o long_o as_o it_o be_v in_o this_o fell_v that_o be_v in_o the_o world_n it_o must_v of_o necessity_n live_v among_o so_o many_o deadly_a sect_n and_o heresy_n for_o there_o be_v very_o many_o that_o will_v by_o no_o mean_n suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v count_v out_o of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o yet_o there_o be_v very_o few_o that_o be_v true_a heart_a subject_n of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o all_o the_o rest_n profess_v themselves_o so_o to_o be_v in_o word_n only_o but_o they_o declare_v partly_o by_o their_o dede_n and_o kind_n of_o lyvinge_v and_o partly_o by_o their_o doctrine_n and_o opinion_n that_o they_o know_v not_o what_o belong_v to_o this_o kingdom_n neither_o what_o be_v the_o true_a virtue_n and_o work_n thereof_o but_o the_o saint_n and_o godly_a can_v not_o abide_v and_o suffer_v this_o so_o great_a goodness_n of_o god_n to_o be_v abuse_v circumspect_a and_o wary_a enough_o in_o this_o behalf_n for_o when_o they_o go_v into_o solitary_a place_n and_o into_o wilderness_n for_o the_o avoid_v of_o many_o offence_n and_o evilles_n that_o chance_v amongst_o the_o ecclesiastical_a minister_n in_o the_o congregation_n of_o the_o city_n they_o begin_v by_o a_o little_a and_o a_o little_a to_o be_v the_o maintainer_n of_o this_o lewed_a opinion_n as_o though_o that_o they_o be_v the_o true_a child_n of_o god_n that_o all_o other_o that_o in_o civil_a corporation_n do_v govern_v either_o family_n or_o rule_v the_o city_n &_o town_n bring_v forth_o no_o fruit_n that_o which_o fall_v in_o the_o good_a ground_n be_v they_o which_o with_o a_o pure_a and_o good_a heart_n hear_v the_o word_n &_o keep_v it_o and_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n through_o patience_n the_o exposition_n in_o this_o gospel_n be_v put_v forth_o four_o kind_n of_o disciple_n that_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o the_o end_n that_o every_o man_n shall_v consider_v with_o himself_o of_o what_o sort_n he_o himself_o be_v of_o and_o endeavour_n with_o all_o diligence_n to_o be_v make_v a_o part_n of_o that_o good_a ground_n and_o soil_n disciple_n that_o he_o may_v be_v fruitful_a the_o first_o say_v christ_n be_v as_o the_o seed_n cast_v by_o the_o high_a way_n and_o that_o can_v bring_v forth_o no_o fruit_n for_o because_o it_o be_v either_o tread_v under_o foot_n or_o devour_v of_o bird_n the_o second_o be_v they_o that_o hear_v and_o profess_v it_o not_o only_o in_o word_n but_o beleve_v &_o so_o grow_v as_o though_o it_o will_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n as_o that_o do_v that_o be_v sow_v amongst_o stone_n but_o yet_o they_o can_v not_o abide_v heat_n for_o that_o they_o can_v not_o deep_o cast_v their_o root_n and_o so_o by_o ivyce_n and_o moisture_n save_v themselves_o against_o heat_n wherefore_o they_o when_o there_o come_v any_o tempestuous_a persecution_n and_o temptation_n wyther_o away_o before_o they_o yield_v fruit_n in_o patience_n long_o suffer_v and_o hope_n the_o three_o sort_n at_o most_o easy_a to_o be_v know_v they_o be_v christian_n and_o as_o a_o man_n will_v say_v seed_n under_o thorn_n which_o although_o it_o bring_v forth_o blade_n yet_o before_o harvest_n it_o be_v overgrowen_v of_o thorn_n and_o choke_v up_o but_o the_o four_o be_v true_a disciple_n when_o a_o pure_a mind_n be_v join_v with_o the_o word_n &_o be_v not_o cast_v out_o thereof_o until_o it_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n in_o patience_n for_o they_o suffer_v all_o thing_n for_o the_o word_n sake_n their_o study_n be_v whole_o to_o love_v &_o obey_v god_n &_o yield_v fruit_n a_o thousand_o fold_n and_o these_o be_v the_o four_o sort_n of_o man_n that_o hear_v the_o gospel_n now_o let_v every_o man_n search_v himself_o &_o consider_v of_o which_o sort_n he_o be_v of_o for_o three_o of_o they_o be_v naught_o &_o unfruictful_a and_o special_o the_o first_o be_v worst_a of_o all_o which_o hear_v the_o word_n &_o when_o it_o be_v herd_n say_v christ_n the_o devil_n come_v &_o take_v the_o word_n out_o of_o their_o heart_n that_o they_o may_v not_o believe_v &_o be_v save_v mark_v this_o well_o for_o by_o my_o own_o judgement_n i_o will_v never_o have_v think_v that_o the_o heart_n while_o they_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n doctrine_n be_v besiege_v &_o assault_v of_o the_o devil_n &_o that_o though_o they_o here_o it_o yet_o little_a regard_n it_o never_o remember_v it_o but_o utter_o forget_v it_o it_o seem_v to_o our_o reason_n to_o be_v but_o a_o chance_n that_o these_o man_n be_v so_o careless_a light_a &_o negligent_a enen_fw-la as_o it_o be_v a_o natural_a vice_n of_o negligent_a &_o forgetful_a person_n to_o take_v little_a heed_n to_o thing_n that_o be_v most_o profitable_a &_o necessary_a and_o it_o seem_v also_o to_o be_v a_o like_a matter_n to_o our_o judgement_n when_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v hear_v &_o not_o regard_v but_o forthwith_o forget_v but_o christ_n judge_v other_o wise_a even_o that_o the_o devil_n steal_v the_o word_n out_o of_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n and_o here_o you_o see_v what_o you_o ought_v to_o judge_v of_o those_o man_n that_o be_v forgetful_a when_o they_o here_o the_o word_n for_o they_o behave_v themselves_o so_o afterward_o as_o though_o they_o have_v never_o hear_v it_o they_o can_v not_o trust_v that_o they_o have_v the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o devil_n be_v so_o nigh_o they_o that_o he_o put_v his_o hand_n into_o their_o heart_n &_o steal_v out_o the_o word_n wherefore_o all_o kind_n of_o vice_n must_v needs_o ensue_v thereof_o stubborness_n disobedience_n unfaithfulnes_n iniquity_n filthiness_n &_o devilish_a desire_n to_o revenge_v for_o if_o the_o word_n remain_v still_o in_o the_o heart_n &_o they_o have_v herd_n it_o attentive_o it_o will_v have_v garnish_v their_o heart_n with_o true_a obedience_n faith_n modesty_n mercy_n &_o such_o like_a virtue_n and_o these_o be_v the_o first_o &_o worst_a of_o al._n christ_n be_v not_o a_o little_a offend_v with_o these_o untoward_a person_n and_o therefore_o he_o rebuke_v none_o so_o sharp_o as_o they_o for_o this_o he_o open_o affirm_v that_o the_o dyvel_n fly_v in_o the_o air_n steal_v the_o word_n out_o of_o their_o herte_n that_o they_o may_v not_o regard_v it_o nor_o set_v so_o much_o by_o it_o nor_o think_v it_o to_o be_v so_o great_a a_o fault_n if_o man_n light_o esteem_v the_o voice_n of_o god_n word_n but_o if_o thou_o will_v know_v how_o this_o trespass_n be_v to_o be_v judge_v hear_v the_o judgement_n of_o christ_n which_o without_o doubt_n understand_v better_a than_o all_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o world_n can_v and_o he_o say_v precise_o that_o the_o devil_n do_v it_o wherefore_o whersoever_o any_o such_o be_v that_o
