with_o all_o the_o festival_n expression_n of_o joy_n will_v not_o immediate_o turn_v he_o out_o of_o his_o family_n to_o seek_v his_o fortune_n no_o christ_n have_v shed_v his_o blood_n for_o we_o all_o and_o the_o more_o he_o save_v the_o great_a reward_n he_o have_v of_o his_o suffering_n the_o more_o numerous_a his_o train_n and_o retinue_n of_o redeem_a soul_n be_v and_o number_n add_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o triumph_n this_o may_v convince_v all_o mankind_n how_o merciful_a our_o judge_n will_v be_v and_o if_o we_o must_v be_v judge_v at_o all_o can_v god_n do_v more_o for_o we_o then_o to_o appoint_v the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n who_o be_v our_o saviour_n to_o be_v our_o judge_n but_o then_o consider_v on_o the_o other_o hand_n what_o a_o terrible_a thing_n will_v it_o be_v to_o be_v condemn_v by_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n what_o tumult_n and_o convulsion_n of_o thought_n must_v such_o sinner_n labour_v under_o they_o must_v be_v self-condemned_n they_o must_v feel_v all_o the_o agony_n of_o gild_n and_o despair_n for_o if_o they_o can_v reasonable_o excuse_v themselves_o or_o the_o most_o merciful_a man_n in_o the_o world_n can_v excuse_v they_o their_o judge_n will_v excuse_v they_o too_o i_o know_v not_o how_o to_o bear_v the_o thought_n of_o this_o the_o very_a imagination_n of_o it_o amaze_v and_o confound_v i_o to_o be_v damn_v be_v a_o tolerable_a punishment_n in_o comparison_n of_o be_v damn_v by_o the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o may_v i_o have_v be_v save_v will_v such_o a_o sinner_n say_v do_v my_o saviour_n who_o be_v now_o my_o judge_n a_o terrible_a judge_n shed_v his_o his_o blood_n for_o i_o do_v he_o purchase_v heaven_n for_o i_o and_o do_v he_o now_o condemn_v i_o to_o hell_n and_o deserve_o too_o against_o his_o own_o inclination_n though_o he_o lose_v the_o purchase_n of_o his_o blood_n by_o it_o o_o wretch_n that_o i_o be_o may_v i_o have_v be_v save_v and_o must_v i_o be_v damn_v and_o damn_v by_o the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n what_o fury_n and_o passion_n will_v accompany_v these_o thought_n be_v not_o to_o be_v express_v by_o word_n and_o i_o pray_v god_n none_o of_o we_o may_v ever_o feel_v it_o 3._o another_o thing_n which_o make_v it_o so_o fit_v and_o congruous_a that_o the_o son_n of_o man_n shall_v judge_v the_o world_n be_v that_o he_o will_v be_v a_o visible_a judge_n it_o be_v very_o fit_v the_o world_n shall_v be_v visible_o judge_v for_o without_o this_o all_o the_o pomp_n and_o triumph_n of_o judgement_n nay_o some_o of_o the_o principal_a end_n of_o judgement_n be_v lose_v god_n judge_v the_o world_n in_o so_o public_a a_o manner_n to_o convince_v the_o world_n of_o his_o power_n and_o justice_n and_o goodness_n in_o the_o final_a destruction_n of_o all_o bad_a man_n and_o the_o final_a reward_n of_o virtue_n and_o therefore_o this_o must_v be_v a_o visible_a judgement_n and_o then_o there_o must_v be_v a_o visible_a judgment-seat_n and_o a_o visible_a judge_n a_o visible_a glory_n and_o power_n bad_a man_n must_v know_v for_o what_o they_o be_v judge_v and_o see_v the_o hand_n that_o execute_v vengeance_n on_o they_o or_o for_o aught_o i_o know_v they_o may_v go_v atheist_n and_o infidel_n to_o hell_n and_o see_v no_o more_o of_o god_n in_o a_o fire_a world_n than_o they_o do_v in_o plague_n or_o sword_n or_o famine_n or_o such_o other_o judgement_n as_o god_n send_v upon_o the_o earth_n they_o may_v curse_v their_o hard_a fate_n but_o neither_o accuse_v themselves_o nor_o own_o the_o divine_a power_n and_o justice_n and_o can_v they_o sink_v into_o hell_n without_o own_v the_o be_v and_o justice_n of_o god_n or_o acknowledge_v their_o own_o gild_n and_o desert_n and_o accuse_v themselves_o as_o the_o author_n of_o their_o own_o misery_n and_o destruction_n god_n will_v lose_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o justice_n and_o power_n and_o hell_n itself_o will_v be_v a_o very_a tolerable_a place_n to_o sinner_n there_o will_v be_v fire_n there_o to_o burn_v they_o but_o no_o worm_n to_o gnaw_v their_o conscience_n no_o inward_a fury_n to_o torment_v they_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n which_o will_v stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o sinner_n and_o make_v they_o confess_v their_o own_o gild_n and_o desert_n will_v make_v the_o flame_n of_o hell_n so_o furious_o rage_n and_o devour_v so_o that_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o the_o last_o judgement_n shall_v be_v execute_v by_o a_o visible_a judge_n that_o it_o may_v not_o be_v think_v the_o effect_n of_o chance_n and_o accident_n or_o fate_n but_o the_o result_n of_o the_o divine_a wisdom_n and_o counsel_n that_o the_o world_n may_v see_v and_o know_v that_o god_n be_v come_v to_o judge_v they_o and_o to_o take_v vengeance_n on_o all_o the_o worker_n of_o iniquity_n and_o this_o also_o make_v the_o son_n of_o man_n a_o very_a proper_a judge_n of_o mankind_n because_o he_o be_v a_o visible_a god_n and_o can_v appear_v in_o a_o visible_a glory_n and_o as_o visible_o judge_v the_o world_n as_o any_o earthly_a prince_n or_o judge_n when_o he_o ascend_v the_o judgment-seat_n this_o will_v be_v the_o glory_n of_o that_o day_n to_o see_v the_o visible_a appearance_n of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n in_o the_o cloud_n of_o heaven_n attend_v with_o myriad_o of_o angel_n to_o his_o throne_n of_o glory_n where_o he_o sit_v encircle_v with_o the_o heavenly_a host_n and_o all_o mankind_n stand_v before_o his_o tribunal_n expect_v their_o final_a doom_n from_o his_o mouth_n good_a lord_n how_o will_v such_o a_o sight_n as_o this_o affect_v we_o can_v we_o but_o paint_v a_o lively_a image_n and_o representation_n of_o judgement_n upon_o our_o fancy_n how_o will_v it_o warm_v our_o heart_n how_o will_v it_o disparage_v all_o the_o pompous_a pageantry_n of_o this_o world_n how_o will_v it_o revive_v the_o spirit_n of_o good_a man_n inspire_v they_o with_o courage_n and_o resolution_n with_o zeal_n and_o activity_n in_o serve_v christ_n look_v for_o that_o bless_a hope_n and_o glorious_a appearance_n of_o the_o great_a god_n and_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n what_o terror_n will_v the_o thought_n of_o it_o strike_v into_o sinner_n how_o will_v it_o cool_v the_o heat_n of_o lust_n how_o will_v it_o make_v their_o countenance_n change_n and_o loosen_v the_o joint_n of_o their_o loin_n and_o make_v their_o knee_n knock_v one_o against_o another_o like_o the_o hand_n write_v upon_o the_o wall_n while_o they_o be_v carouse_v in_o their_o full_a bowl_n and_o drink_v away_o the_o thought_n of_o god_n and_o judgement_n who_o can_v possible_o conceive_v the_o joy_n and_o exultation_n of_o that_o day_n when_o good_a man_n shall_v see_v their_o lord_n come_v in_o the_o cloud_n of_o heaven_n clothe_v with_o a_o humane_a body_n but_o bright_a and_o glorious_a as_o the_o sun_n a_o body_n which_o still_o retain_v the_o mark_n of_o his_o suffering_n and_o the_o token_n of_o his_o love_n how_o will_v it_o transport_v we_o to_o see_v he_o who_o our_o soul_n love_v to_o see_v he_o who_o we_o have_v so_o passionate_o long_v and_o desire_v to_o see_v to_o see_v he_o who_o we_o love_v though_o we_o have_v not_o see_v he_o to_o see_v he_o i_o say_v not_o as_o the_o shepherd_n do_v a_o poor_a helpless_a infant_n wrap_v in_o swadling-clout_n and_o lie_v in_o a_o manger_n to_o see_v he_o not_o arraign_v for_o a_o malefactor_n nor_o hang_v in_o a_o shameful_a manner_n upon_o the_o cross_n but_o to_o see_v he_o in_o all_o his_o majesty_n and_o glory_n to_o see_v he_o a_o triumphant_a conqueror_n and_o judge_n to_o see_v he_o with_o crown_n and_o laurel_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o in_o he_o to_o see_v the_o certainty_n of_o our_o faith_n the_o completion_n of_o our_o hope_n the_o reward_n of_o our_o patience_n and_o suffering_n and_o our_o final_a conquest_n over_o death_n and_o hell_n o_o joyful_a day_n when_o this_o royal_a bridegroom_n shall_v come_v in_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o father_n to_o meet_v his_o spouse_n the_o church_n to_o conduct_v she_o to_o his_o father_n house_n there_o to_o see_v and_o there_o to_o partake_v in_o his_o glory_n and_o never_o to_o part_v more_o methinks_v i_o see_v holy_a and_o devout_a soul_n in_o the_o high_a rapture_n and_o ecstasy_n of_o joy_n embrace_v and_o comfort_v one_o another_o at_o the_o appearance_n of_o their_o lord_n here_o come_v the_o bless_a jesus_n it_o be_v he_o himself_o the_o true_a image_n of_o god_n the_o very_a brightness_n of_o his_o father_n glory_n this_o be_v that_o bless_a day_n we_o have_v so_o long_o expect_v and_o hope_v for_o let_v we_o go_v forth_o and_o meet_v he_o let_v we_o hasten_v into_o the_o embrace_n of_o our_o saviour_n he_o be_v come_v to_o judgement_n but_o let_v those_o
condemn_v or_o absolve_v bad_a man_n indeed_o be_v very_o much_o afraid_a of_o their_o own_o conscience_n because_o they_o reprove_v and_o condemn_v they_o and_o threaten_v they_o with_o hell-fire_n and_o therefore_o they_o fly_v from_o their_o conscience_n will_v not_o hear_v they_o and_o will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o speak_v but_o what_o do_v they_o get_v by_o this_o but_o to_o drop_v secure_o and_o quiet_o into_o hell_n and_o then_o conscience_n will_v speak_v and_o never_o be_v silent_a more_o if_o they_o will_v not_o hear_v their_o conscience_n now_o they_o must_v hear_v their_o judge_n at_o the_o last_o day_n though_o conscience_n be_v never_o so_o severe_a in_o its_o reproof_n and_o censure_n they_o be_v the_o reproof_n of_o a_o friend_n the_o judgement_n of_o conscience_n be_v only_o to_o warn_v we_o of_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n to_o warn_v we_o to_o fly_v from_o the_o wrath_n to_o come_v and_o will_v man_n hearken_v to_o their_o own_o conscience_n it_o will_v give_v check_n to_o they_o and_o reform_v their_o life_n if_o we_o will_v patient_o hear_v conscience_n threaten_v we_o with_o hell-fire_n it_o will_v be_v the_o most_o effectual_a mean_n to_o prevent_v our_o fall_n into_o it_o but_o what_o be_v the_o joy_n and_o triumph_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n which_o speak_v peace_n to_o we_o and_o give_v we_o a_o secure_a hope_n in_o god_n which_o give_v we_o the_o joyful_a prospect_n of_o eternal_a rewad_v of_o a_o crown_n and_o a_o kingdom_n of_o those_o river_n of_o pleasure_n which_o be_v at_o god_n right_a hand_n when_o with_o st._n paul_n we_o can_v say_v i_o have_v fight_v a_o good_a fight_n i_o have_v finish_v my_o course_n i_o have_v keep_v the_o faith_n henceforth_o be_v lay_v up_o for_o i_o a_o crown_n of_o righteousness_n which_o god_n the_o righteous_a judge_n will_v give_v i_o at_o that_o day_n 2_o tim._n 4.7_o 8._o this_o be_v a_o happy_a state_n indeed_o a_o plerophory_n and_o full_a assurance_n of_o hope_n which_o make_v good_a man_n impatient_o long_a for_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n to_o be_v put_v into_o the_o possession_n of_o so_o great_a a_o happiness_n and_o there_o be_v no_o way_n to_o have_v this_o but_o
