inherent_a holiness_n christ_n be_v dead_a in_o vain_a these_o man_n know_v not_o what_o the_o gospel_n be_v and_o those_o who_o preach_v no_o other_o gospel_n than_o morality_n do_v but_o go_v about_o to_o make_v the_o people_n good_a heathen_n for_o what_o be_v this_o but_o the_o religion_n of_o the_o heathen_a philosopher_n 4._o such_o also_o neglect_v this_o salvation_n who_o though_o they_o come_v to_o hear_v christ_n preach_v yet_o only_o come_v out_o of_o formality_n custom_n or_o curiosity_n or_o to_o divert_v themselves_o have_v little_a else_o to_o do_v they_o will_v go_v and_o hear_v what_o such_o or_o such_o a_o man_n will_v say_v it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v instruct_v in_o the_o mystery_n of_o salvation_n nay_o may_v be_v some_o of_o they_o may_v come_v with_o a_o design_n to_o catch_v up_o thing_n to_o improve_v to_o the_o reproach_n of_o the_o minister_n now_o be_v sure_a these_o person_n be_v such_o who_o neglect_v the_o salvation_n of_o the_o gospel_n 5._o such_o likewise_o who_o be_v careless_a hearer_n who_o hear_v as_o if_o the_o thing_n preach_v do_v not_o concern_v they_o or_o that_o sleep_n under_o the_o word_n these_o also_o neglect_v this_o salvation_n i_o have_v hear_v of_o one_o that_o will_v go_v to_o the_o place_n of_o worship_n because_o she_o can_v sleep_v soon_o and_o better_a there_o than_o at_o home_o and_o no_o wonder_n since_o the_o devil_n rock_n the_o cradle_n as_o i_o may_v say_v or_o have_v such_o influence_n upon_o they_o and_o make_v they_o comply_v with_o his_o temptation_n and_o you_o shall_v have_v help_n no_o doubt_n as_o some_o who_o have_v hang_v themselves_o it_o have_v be_v observe_v to_o be_v strange_a how_o they_o can_v do_v it_o after_o such_o a_o manner_n alas_o satan_n help_v they_o he_o know_v how_o to_o tie_v the_o rope_n and_o to_o choke_v they_o too_o when_o they_o enter_v upon_o this_o work_n perhaps_o some_o shall_v have_v their_o thought_n in_o a_o wanton_a manner_n run_v out_o after_o this_o or_o the_o other_o object_n they_o have_v before_o their_o eye_n when_o with_o holy_a diligence_n they_o shall_v attend_v upon_o the_o word_n of_o this_o salvation_n to_o the_o profit_n of_o their_o soul_n or_o else_o have_v their_o heart_n and_o thought_n run_v out_o upon_o their_o worldly_a affair_n some_o on_o their_o riches_n trade_n and_o how_o to_o order_v their_o business_n the_o week_n follow_v and_o other_o upon_o their_o poverty_n all_o these_o i_o must_v set_v down_o as_o neglecter_n of_o this_o great_a salvation_n 6._o such_o who_o slight_a or_o neglect_v the_o conviction_n of_o their_o own_o conscience_n or_o that_o strive_v to_o stifle_v their_o conviction_n whilst_o under_o the_o word_n or_o when_o go_v from_o hear_v it_o like_v as_o felix_n do_v when_o he_o send_v paul_n away_o the_o fire_n the_o word_n have_v kindle_v in_o his_o conscience_n be_v too_o hot_a for_o he_o to_o bear_v 7._o such_o who_o comply_v not_o with_o the_o call_v of_o the_o word_n and_o offer_v of_o this_o great_a salvation_n but_o resist_v and_o quench_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o spirit_n out_o of_o love_n to_o their_o lust_n and_o so_o reject_v the_o word_n like_v when_o people_n hear_v the_o cry_n of_o fire_n in_o the_o night_n how_o do_v they_o cry_v out_o where_o where_o alas_o this_o fire_n seize_v not_o on_o your_o house_n nor_o good_n no_o nor_o on_o their_o latter_a end_n 2._o be_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n so_o terrible_a and_o can_v no_o unbeliever_n or_o impenitent_a sinner_n escape_v it_o what_o cause_n be_v here_o for_o they_o all_o to_o part_n of_o this_o nation_n have_v but_o little_a of_o the_o mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n make_v know_v to_o they_o what_o people_n in_o the_o world_n have_v great_a cause_n to_o admire_v god_n distinguish_a grace_n and_o favour_n than_o we_o that_o live_v in_o and_o about_o this_o city_n london_n be_v exalt_v to_o heaven_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n o_o that_o it_o may_v never_o be_v bring_v down_o to_o hell_n as_o our_o saviour_n threaten_v capernaum_n 4._o from_o hence_o also_o i_o may_v exhort_v you_o to_o bless_v god_n for_o faithful_a minister_n who_o publish_v word_n of_o god_n and_o to_o increase_v and_o strengthen_v faith_n also_o 17._o 2._o god_n be_v gradious_o please_v to_o assord_n man_n a_o day_n or_o a_o time_n of_o visitation_n in_o which_o he_o offer_v term_n of_o peace_n unto_o they_o take_v heed_n you_o do_v not_o like_o jerusalem_n lose_v your_o day_n and_o neglect_v the_o mean_v god_n afford_v you_o 3._o you_o know_v not_o how_o short_a
