which_o be_v painful_a cleave_v to_o man_n however_o they_o will_v and_o do_v endeavour_v to_o shift_v it_o 2._o anguish_n and_o trouble_n of_o mind_n be_v very_o affright_v to_o they_o who_o be_v but_o we_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o prove_v what_o we_o allege_v against_o they_o therefore_o do_v elihu_n subjoin_v a_o proof_n of_o his_o former_a charge_n for_o thou_o say_v etc._n etc._n 2._o man_n in_o their_o passion_n be_v so_o little_a master_n of_o themselves_o that_o they_o will_v fall_v in_o evil_n which_o not_o only_o they_o do_v not_o see_v but_o their_o heart_n do_v even_o abhor_v they_o and_o yet_o they_o be_v commit_v they_o for_o so_o be_v it_o with_o job_n when_o any_o of_o his_o friend_n lay_v any_o such_o reflection_n upon_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n to_o his_o charge_n he_o not_o only_o deni_v they_o but_o outstrip_v they_o in_o commend_v his_o righteousness_n and_o elihu_n prove_v that_o charge_n v._o 2._o from_o his_o word_n or_o what_o he_o have_v say_v not_o to_o prove_v he_o wicked_a which_o be_v his_o friend_n design_n but_o to_o humble_v he_o 3._o when_o man_n let_v loose_v the_o reins_o to_o their_o passion_n they_o must_v answer_v not_o only_o for_o what_o they_o express_o say_v or_o intend_v in_o their_o word_n but_o for_o all_o the_o consequence_n that_o may_v just_o be_v fasten_v upon_o they_o and_o for_o all_o the_o mistake_v of_o other_o occasion_v by_o they_o for_o it_o be_v upon_o these_o two_o account_n that_o elihu_n thus_o cite_v job_n word_n and_o make_v use_v of_o they_o to_o prove_v that_o he_o have_v say_v that_o his_o righteousness_n be_v more_o than_o god_n as_o have_v be_v clear_v when_o man_n be_v in_o passion_n they_o little_o consider_v what_o they_o say_v or_o what_o may_v be_v make_v of_o it_o and_o be_v out_o of_o god_n way_n and_o the_o way_n of_o their_o duty_n they_o be_v just_o make_v to_o answer_v for_o all_o those_o consequence_n and_o effect_n 4._o albeit_o god_n will_v not_o enter_v into_o strict_a judgement_n with_o his_o people_n for_o all_o that_o may_v be_v just_o fasten_v upon_o they_o yet_o it_o be_v the_o part_n of_o a_o friend_n faithful_o to_o lay_v their_o fault_n before_o they_o in_o their_o worst_a colour_n that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v humble_v for_o it_o be_v upon_o this_o friendly_a account_n that_o elihu_n deal_v so_o sharp_o with_o job_n and_o charge_v upon_o he_o that_o his_o word_n import_v or_o may_v seem_v to_o other_o to_o import_v no_o less_o than_o that_o he_o see_v no_o advantage_n nor_o profit_n in_o his_o righteousness_n and_o purity_n more_o than_o if_o he_o have_v be_v a_o gross_a sinner_n and_o indeed_o it_o be_v better_a that_o a_o faithful_a friend_n do_v this_o unto_o we_o than_o that_o either_o our_o enemy_n or_o our_o own_o conscience_n alarm_v with_o wrath_n shall_v do_v it_o 5._o it_o be_v one_o great_a evidence_n of_o passion_n in_o godly_a man_n when_o they_o look_v too_o much_o to_o temporal_a event_n and_o reward_n forget_v what_o be_v eternal_a and_o this_o may_v be_v the_o fault_n even_o of_o godly_a man_n for_o this_o make_v job_n say_v what_o advantage_n will_v it_o be_v &_o c_o because_o he_o measure_v his_o advantage_n by_o his_o present_a temporal_a lot_n 6._o it_o be_v also_o a_o evidence_n of_o distemper_n when_o godly_a man_n do_v not_o ponder_v and_o prize_v the_o advantage_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n under_o trouble_n see_v the_o conscience_n of_o sin_n will_v be_v much_o more_o bitter_a than_o simple_a trouble_n for_o in_o this_o also_o job_n be_v faulty_a that_o though_o his_o righteousness_n give_v he_o no_o privilege_n to_o be_v exempt_v from_o trouble_n yet_o the_o mercy_n of_o be_v free_a from_o the_o challenge_n of_o unrighteousness_n be_v but_o too_o little_o prize_v by_o he_o but_o when_o he_o shall_v have_v bless_v god_n that_o he_o be_v righteous_a and_o free_a of_o the_o check_n of_o a_o evil_a conscience_n however_o he_o be_v afflict_v he_o be_v complain_v
