salvation_n but_o enough_o to_o make_v they_o inexcusable_a before_o god_n for_o not_o follow_v that_o light_n and_o not_o live_v according_o to_o that_o knowledge_n which_o they_o have_v if_o there_o be_v not_o some_o light_n in_o this_o behalf_n some_o knowledge_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o every_o man_n conscience_n can_v do_v nothing_o 2._o knowledge_n of_o ourselves_o this_o also_o be_v the_o light_a that_o conscience_n act_v by_o there_o be_v in_o every_o man_n some_o measure_n of_o knowledge_n of_o himself_o according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o knowledge_n that_o he_o have_v of_o god_n law_n our_o conscience_n look_v backward_o and_o forward_o forward_o to_o god_n law_n and_o backward_o on_o ourselves_o whether_o we_o be_v such_o as_o god_n law_n require_v yea_o or_o no._n thought_n conscience_n can_v accuse_v for_o unless_o there_o be_v so_o much_o light_n as_o to_o know_v they_o be_v forbid_v and_o therefore_o divine_v do_v all_o say_v that_o the_o synteresis_fw-la be_v necessary_a to_o the_o exercise_n of_o conscience_n the_o synteresis_fw-la be_v this_o when_o a_o man_n keep_v in_o his_o mind_n the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o thing_n contain_v in_o god_n law_n be_v keep_v in_o mind_n conscience_n can_v work_v and_o therefore_o when_o we_o will_v stir_v a_o man_n conscience_n we_o appeal_v to_o his_o knowledge_n know_v you_o not_o that_o the_o unrighteous_a shall_v not_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n 6.9_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v your_o own_o conscience_n may_v condemn_v you_o to_o the_o pit_n of_o hell_n if_o you_o be_v unrighteous_a and_o as_o conscience_n be_v supreme_a in_o bear_v of_o witness_n so_o also_o it_o be_v supreme_a in_o command_v all_o the_o command_n of_o it_o be_v powerful_a and_o supreme_a it_o will_v not_o be_v office_n 3._o conscience_n also_o be_v faithful_a in_o its_o office_n and_o sincere_a it_o always_o speak_v of_o we_o as_o it_o think_v it_o may_v be_v deceive_v and_o mistake_v for_o a_o time_n but_o it_o never_o speak_v contrary_a to_o what_o it_o think_v it_o be_v a_o faithful_a and_o sincere_a witness_n of_o our_o thought_n word_n action_n and_o course_n whether_o they_o be_v good_a or_o evil_n so_o far_o as_o it_o be_v enlighten_v by_o god_n word_n it_o ever_o give_v evidence_n aright_o it_o never_o flatter_v nor_o condemn_v any_o without_o a_o cause_n it_o be_v a_o faithful_a and_o a_o very_a upright_a witness_n other_o may_v dissemble_v with_o we_o and_o commend_v we_o and_o applaud_v we_o when_o we_o be_v naught_o and_o call_v we_o good_a man_n and_o good_a woman_n when_o we_o be_v nothing_o so_o but_o this_o will_v tell_v we_o plain_o how_o vile_a and_o sinful_a we_o be_v and_o if_o we_o say_v we_o be_v good_a when_o we_o be_v not_o it_o will_v tell_v we_o plain_o we_o little_a in_o this_o manner_n to_o be_v carnal_o mind_v be_v death_n that_o be_v be_v a_o evident_a sign_n of_o a_o man_n that_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o death_n and_o damnation_n but_o say_v conscience_n i_o be_o carnal_o mind_v or_o we_o be_v carnal_o mind_v therefore_o we_o have_v a_o argument_n about_o we_o of_o death_n and_o damnation_n and_o so_o also_o for_o all_o other_o sin_n himself_o to_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n his_o conscience_n can_v never_o condemn_v he_o for_o be_v one_o and_o therefore_o both_o these_o knowledge_n be_v necessary_a as_o well_o the_o knowledge_n of_o a_o man_n self_n as_o of_o god_n law_n many_o who_o have_v a_o hand_n in_o crucify_a our_o saviour_n sin_v grievous_o yet_o they_o sin_v not_o against_o knowledge_n because_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v father_n forgive_v they_o 23.34_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v three_o it_o be_v a_o contradiction_n to_o say_v a_o blind_a conscience_n in_o act_n the_o conscience_n conscience_n no_o question_n can_v say_v you_o shall_v do_v well_o to_o be_v more_o godly_a to_o look_v more_o after_o christ_n and_o after_o heaven_n and_o you_o shall_v do_v well_o to_o get_v the_o truth_n of_o save_a grace_n yet_o it_o may_v be_v they_o say_v nothing_o or_o nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n in_o this_o behalf_n therefore_o be_v these_o man_n case_n so_o dangerous_a because_o you_o you_o take_v delight_n in_o such_o silent_a and_o large_a and_o remiss_a unfaithful_a conscience_n you_o love_v not_o to_o have_v your_o conscience_n too_o busy_a with_o you_o you_o like_v not_o that_o your_o conscience_n shall_v be_v too_o clamorous_a and_o importunate_a with_o you_o you_o will_v have_v they_o not_o too_o rigid_a and_o vehement_a against_o your_o sin_n it_o fare_v with_o you_o as_o with_o many_o young_a man_n who_o have_v sell_v themselves_o unto_o folly_n and_o think_v none_o their_o friend_n but_o parasite_n that_o flatter_v they_o or_o those_o who_o connive_v and_o silent_a conscience_n to_o want_v the_o chief_a mean_n under_o god_n of_o do_v a_o man_n good_a it_o be_v conscience_n that_o tell_v the_o leper_n 7.9_o we_o do_v not_o well_o to_o hold_v our_o peace_n it_o be_v conscience_n that_o never_o will_v let_v the_o prodigal_a son_n be_v quiet_a till_o he_o return_v to_o his_o father_n and_o say_v unto_o he_o i_o have_v sin_v against_o heaven_n our_o peace_n shall_v be_v in_o safety_n four_o our_o peace_n depend_v upon_o our_o obedience_n not_o only_o as_o a_o sign_n of_o true_a peace_n nor_o only_o as_o a_o guard_n to_o it_o but_o as_o a_o thing_n please_v to_o god_n without_o the_o which_o we_o displease_v god_n for_o though_o god_n be_v please_v with_o his_o child_n always_o in_o christ_n yet_o he_o be_v not_o please_v that_o any_o flesh_n but_o after_o the_o spirit_n rom._n 8.4_o that_o be_v our_o fulfil_n the_o law_n when_o christ_n have_v fulfil_v the_o law_n for_o we_o and_o make_v we_o sincere_o to_o walk_v by_o it_o not_o obedience_n and_o this_o be_v require_v unto_o peace_n 4._o this_o sincerity_n of_o obedience_n make_v we_o to_o bewail_v our_o very_a infirmity_n and_o to_o be_v humble_v for_o they_o not_o only_o to_o be_v humble_v for_o great_a sin_n but_o also_o to_o be_v humble_v for_o our_o infirmity_n if_o we_o be_v not_o sound_o humble_v for_o our_o very_a infirmity_n also_o they_o will_v hinder_v the_o
