nevertheless_o we_o must_v here_o distinguish_v the_o bond_n of_o conscience_n be_v either_o primarie_n and_o supreme_a or_o secondary_a and_o relative_a 1._o the_o primarie_n and_o supreme_a bond_n of_o conscience_n be_v only_a god_n word_n and_o law_n that_o only_o be_v the_o supreme_a bond_n of_o conscience_n 12._o there_o be_v one_o lawgiver_n who_o be_v able_a to_o save_v or_o to_o destroy_v who_o be_v thou_o that_o judge_v another_o that_o be_v there_o be_v but_o one_o supreme_a lawgiver_n to_o bind_v the_o conscience_n of_o man_n and_o that_o be_v god_n and_o the_o reason_n be_v give_v because_o it_o be_v god_n only_o who_o be_v able_a to_o save_v and_o to_o destroy_v as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v god_n only_o have_v power_n over_o life_n and_o death_n either_o to_o save_v a_o man_n for_o ever_o or_o destroy_v a_o man_n for_o ever_o and_o to_o judge_v a_o man_n according_a to_o all_o that_o he_o have_v do_v and_o therefore_o he_o only_o can_v make_v law_n to_o bind_v the_o conscience_n of_o man_n 2._o now_o the_o secondary_a or_o relative_a bond_n of_o conscience_n be_v when_z other_o who_o have_v authority_n from_o god_n bind_v conscience_n to_o this_o or_o that_o i_o call_v this_o a_o relative_a bond_n because_o it_o be_v only_o in_o relation_n to_o the_o authority_n of_o god_n for_o though_o man_n can_v challenge_v any_o do_n or_o omission_n contrary_a to_o their_o law_n to_o be_v sin_n yet_o if_o they_o have_v authority_n from_o god_n to_o command_v any_o thing_n than_o they_o become_v beam_n and_o part_n of_o god_n law_n and_o do_v by_o virtue_n of_o that_o bind_v a_o man_n conscience_n this_o relative_a bond_n of_o conscience_n be_v twofold_a first_o other_o man_n may_v bind_v our_o conscience_n as_o magistrate_n and_o master_n and_o parent_n who_o though_o they_o can_v bind_v conscience_n as_o they_o be_v man_n yet_o when_o they_o have_v authority_n from_o god_n their_o command_n have_v god_n seal_n upon_o they_o and_o do_v bind_v i_o say_v in_o relation_n to_o god_n law_n which_o bid_v we_o obey_v they_o rom._n 13.5_o you_o must_v needs_o be_v subject_n not_o only_o for_o wrath_n but_o also_o for_o conscience_n sake_n the_o angel_n can_v tell_v certain_o but_o god_n know_v certain_o and_o he_o only_o and_o therefore_o he_o only_o can_v bind_v our_o conscience_n when_o the_o lord_n do_v command_v or_o forbid_v the_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n answ_n such_o law_n do_v not_o bind_v conscience_n under_o the_o name_n of_o religion_n but_o under_o the_o name_n of_o civil_a discipline_n and_o again_o though_o they_o do_v not_o bind_v conscience_n per_fw-la se_fw-la and_o immediate_o yet_o they_o do_v per_fw-la aliud_fw-la and_o as_o subjoin_v to_o a_o high_a law_n for_o though_o the_o breach_n of_o such_o law_n they_o be_v contrary_a to_o justice_n and_o charity_n and_o the_o profit_n and_o safety_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n and_o so_o a_o sin_n uses_n 1_o 1._o this_o confute_v the_o anabaptist_n who_o
