manner_n in_o like_a sort_n they_o consist_v of_o the_o like_a part_n of_o the_o body_n both_o internal_a and_o external_a which_o like_a part_n have_v the_o like_a use_n in_o they_o both_o therefore_o conclude_v they_o that_o when_o a_o beast_n die_v and_o breathe_v out_o his_o last_o the_o soul_n vanish_v &_o evapourate_v itself_o into_o nothing_o nor_o any_o thing_n of_o it_o remain_v after_o life_n so_o also_o it_o may_v seem_v to_o be_v say_v that_o man_n die_v his_o soul_n also_o die_v and_o turn_v into_o nothing_o but_o this_o reason_n be_v most_o feeble_a and_o of_o no_o force_n for_o though_o there_o be_v a_o great_a affinity_n between_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n as_o it_o be_v endue_v with_o reason_n &_o be_v call_v man_n &_o the_o soul_n of_o beast_n the_o difference_n be_v infinite_a from_o the_o which_o great_a disparity_n we_o may_v deserve_o gather_v that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n as_o be_v of_o a_o high_a and_o divine_a order_n or_o nature_n die_v not_o though_o that_o of_o beast_n be_v absolute_o extinguish_v even_o with_o the_o body_n for_o beast_n do_v not_o perceive_v in_o any_o sort_n those_o thing_n which_o belong_v to_o man_n neither_o be_v there_o any_o communication_n or_o commerce_n of_o business_n or_o deliberation_n between_o man_n and_o they_o as_o for_o example_n dog_n and_o horse_n know_v not_o whether_o their_o master_n be_v rich_a or_o poor_a noble_a or_o ignoble_a old_a or_o young_a healthful_a or_o disease_a marry_v or_o unmary_v virtuous_a or_o wicked_a a_o italian_a or_o a_o german_n none_o of_o these_o i_o say_v do_v beast_n understand_v or_o make_v difference_n of_o whereupon_o it_o follow_v that_o they_o neither_o conceive_v grief_n nor_o joy_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o happen_v to_o man_n again_o they_o see_v the_o sun_n the_o moon_n tree_n house_n city_n and_o village_n but_o they_o know_v not_o nor_o think_v what_o they_o be_v to_o what_o end_n they_o be_v direct_v or_o from_o whence_o &_o how_o they_o proceed_v all_o their_o knowledge_n be_v restrain_v to_o few_o thing_n to_o wit_n to_o those_o thing_n as_o be_v please_v or_o displease_v to_o their_o nature_n of_o these_o only_a they_o judge_v and_o this_o after_o a_o confuse_a and_o brutish_a manner_n conceave_a they_o under_o the_o show_n and_o title_n of_o be_v profitable_a or_o disprofitable_a convenyent_n or_o inconuenyent_n for_o they_o love_v not_o their_o master_n for_o any_o other_o respect_n but_o because_o by_o the_o help_n of_o their_o phantasy_n they_o apprehend_v he_o under_o the_o show_n of_o profit_n in_o that_o he_o give_v they_o meat_n or_o the_o like_a in_o like_a sort_n on_o the_o contrary_a part_n the_o sheep●_n fly_v the_o wolf_n for_o no_o other_o cause_n but_o by_o reason_n that_o by_o instinct_n of_o nature_n he_o conceive_v he_o as_o his_o enemy_n therefore_o see_v beast_n have_v a_o knowledge_n so_o imperfect_a and_o limit_v and_o apprehend_v nothing_o but_o what_o appertain_v to_o the_o conservation_n of_o their_o body_n and_o lyve_n nor_o be_v delight_v or_o grieve_v at_o any_o thing_n but_o in_o respect_n as_o that_o thing_n affect_v their_o body_n well_o or_o
