kind_n of_o death_n he_o suffer_v our_o high_a preeste_n and_o elder_n say_v he_o condemn_v he_o and_o deliver_v he_o to_o death_n he_o open_o avouch_v that_o the_o high_a priest_n and_o elder_n be_v the_o enemy_n of_o christ._n whereby_o we_o also_o be_v admonish_v to_o accuse_v they_o open_o that_o persecute_v the_o gospel_n as_o the_o pope_n do_v and_o many_o tyrant_n in_o the_o world_n also_o he_o show_v what_o kind_n of_o death_n he_o be_v put_v untoo_o when_o he_o say_v and_o they_o crucify_v he_o than_o the_o which_o kind_n of_o death_n although_o there_o be_v none_o more_o reproachful_a in_o the_o world_n yet_o be_v not_o cleophas_n therefore_o afraid_a to_o count_v he_o a_o holy_a man_n the_o three_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o the_o answer_n of_o cleophas_n be_v the_o confession_n of_o his_o belief_n in_o chryst_n we_o hope_v say_v he_o that_o he_o shall_v have_v redeem_v israel_n cleophas_n confess_v open_o that_o he_o beléeve_v upon_o chryst_n who_o the_o high_a priest_n have_v put_v to_o death_n and_o this_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o true_a faith_n ▪_o for_o he_o that_o beléeve_v untoo_o rightuousnesse_n confess_v with_o his_o mouth_n too_o salvation_n the_o four_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o the_o answer_n of_o cleophas_n be_v the_o strengthen_n of_o his_o weak_a faith_n by_o the_o promise_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o witness_n of_o the_o woman_n by_o the_o vision_n of_o the_o angel_n and_o the_o record_n bear_v of_o certain_a of_o the_o apostle_n for_o when_o cleophas_n name_v the_o three_o day_n he_o do_v it_o for_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v promise_v too_o rise_v ageyn_a the_o third_o day_n this_o promise_n beléeve_v he_o too_o be_v fulfil_v notwithstanding_o that_o he_o be_v toss_v between_o hope_n and_o fear_n but_o against_o fear_n he_o take_v untoo_o he_o the_o nourishment_n of_o faith_n lest_o it_o shall_v be_v utter_o quench_v and_o where_o as_o he_o tell_v that_o the_o body_n be_v not_o find_v by_o the_o woman_n and_o that_o there_o appéer_v untoo_o they_o a_o vision_n of_o angel_n and_o that_o the_o report_n which_o the_o woman_n have_v make_v of_o the_o empty_a tumbe_n be_v avouch_v by_o the_o witness_n of_o man_n these_o thing_n tend_v all_o too_o this_o end_n too_o persuade_v himself_o full_o that_o chryst_n be_v rise_v again_o so_o the_o godly_a man_n be_v doubtful_a between_o faith_n and_o fear_n underprop_v his_o faith_n and_o to_o the_o uttermost_a of_o his_o power_n wrestle_v ageyn_v fear_v but_o what_o say_v the_o lord_n too_o this_o gear_n o_o fool_n say_v he_o and_o slow_v of_o heart_n too_o believe_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v speak_v by_o the_o prophet_n here_o first_o have_v our_o faith_n somewhat_o too_o learn_v at_o chryste_n hand_n chryste_n very_o find_v fault_n with_o those_o disciple_n for_o their_o slowness_n as_o well_o in_o learning_n as_o in_o beléeve_v yet_o do_v he_o not_o cast_v they_o off_o for_o their_o weakness_n but_o rather_o according_a too_o his_o own_o custom_n he_o chastise_v they_o after_o a_o fatherly_a sort_n and_o help_v their_o weakness_n lest_o be_v overcome_v with_o fear_n they_o shall_v quench_v y_fw-fr e_o little_a fire_n of_o their_o faith_n for_o he_o come_v too_o be_v a_o physician_n of_o the_o weak_a and_o not_o to_o fordoo_v the_o weak_a with_o fear_n hereby_o we_o may_v learn_v that_o chryste_n will_v not_o cast_v off_o any_o man_n that_o have_v a_o small_a and_o weak_a faith_n so_o he_o suffer_v it_o too_o be_v strengthen_v and_o increase_v by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n but_o what_o thing_n find_v he_o fault_n with_o in_o these_o two_o disciple_n with_o two_o thing_n ignorance_n or_o dulness_n in_o learning_n and_o slowness_n in_o beléeve_v the_o prophet_n dullness_n hynder_v their_o unerstanding_n and_o slowness_n hyndred_n their_o faith_n for_o although_o they_o have_v a_o very_a little_a faith_n yet_o ought_v they_o too_o have_v make_v great_a furtherance_n in_o it_o for_o that_o they_o have_v not_o only_a herd_n from_o their_o childhod_n the_o foresaying_n of_o the_o prophet_n concern_v chryste_n but_o also_o chryste_n himself_o foretell_v they_o what_o kind_n of_o death_n he_o shall_v be_v put_v too_o and_o that_o he_o shall_v the_o third_o day_n after_o come_v out_o of_o his_o grave_n ageyne_v alyve_a here_o be_v our_o dulness_n also_o reprove_v who_o have_v herd_n the_o gospel_n so_o many_o year_n together_o and_o yet_o many_o be_v too_o be_v find_v amongst_o we_o that_o have_v not_o yet_o learned_a the_o apostle_n créede_v of_o who_o i_o be_o sore_o afraid_a unless_o they_o amend_v betimes_o after_o that_o chryste_n have_v find_v fault_n with_o they_o he_o béegin_v to_o teach_v which_o be_v the_o point_n of_o a_o good_a schoolmaster_n and_o therefore_o he_o say_v ought_v not_o chryst_n too_o have_v suffer_v these_o thing_n and_o so_o too_o enter_v intoo_o his_o glory_n this_o be_v the_o ground_n that_o the_o lord_n teach_v upon_o the_o méening_n whereof_o be_v this_o chryst_n according_a too_o the_o foresay_n of_o the_o prophet_n ought_v too_o suffer_v death_n upon_o the_o cross_n and_o afterward_o too_o rise_v from_o death_n and_o to_o enter_v intoo_o his_o glory_n he_o ought_v to_o suffer_v very_o for_o our_o sin_n and_o to_o rise_v ageyne_n for_o our_o justification_n rom._n 4._o then_o see_v you_o confess_v i_o too_o be_v chryst_n you_o must_v also_o know_v out_o of_o the_o prophet_n that_o it_o béehoove_v i_o too_o dye_v and_o rise_v ageyne_a from_o the_o dead_a this_o thing_n show_v he_o also_o out_o of_o moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n but_o the_o evangelist_n tell_v not_o by_o what_o place_n of_o scripture_n he_o do_v it_o notwithstanding_o it_o be_v not_o too_o be_v doubt_v but_o that_o he_o first_o of_o all_o expound_v the_o promise_n concern_v chryst_n set_v forth_o untoo_o adam_n which_o be_v this_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n shall_v tread_v down_o the_o serpent_n head_n and_o many_o such_o other_o as_o you_o have_v herd_n yesterday_o moses_n by_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n do_v set_v up_o a_o brazen_a serpent_n in_o y_z e_z wilderness_n &_o as_o many_o as_o look_v thereon_o be_v heal_v of_o their_o wound_n which_o figure_n chryste_n expound_v in_o the_o three_o of_o john_n say_v like_a as_o moses_n lift_v up_o the_o serpent_n in_o the_o wilderness_n so_o it_o behove_v the_o son_n of_o man_n to_o be_v lift_v up_o to_o the_o intent_n that_o all_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v life_n everlasting_a howbeit_o as_o he_o be_v recite_v these_o thing_n out_o of_o moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n they_o draw_v near_o
