and_o the_o people_n answer_v we_o lift_v they_o up_o unto_o the_o lord_n so_o that_o it_o be_v requisite_a that_o our_o heart_n be_v shut_v up_o from_o satan_n and_o open_a unto_o our_o god_n the_o devil_n be_v crafty_a and_o he_o seek_v some_o cleft_n crevie_a or_o chink_n by_o the_o which_o he_o may_v slide_v into_o our_o understandinge_n and_o to_o turn_v they_o away_o from_o god_n so_o that_o by_o this_o mean_a he_o make_v we_o to_o have_v one_o thing_n in_o our_o heart_n and_o a_o other_o thing_n in_o our_o tongue_n and_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a space_n it_o be_v the_o heart_n that_o god_n demand_v &_o not_o the_o sound_n of_o the_o mouth_n for_o what_o lack_n of_o consideration_n be_v this_o for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v wretched_a in_o many_o thought_n in_o pray_v to_o god_n see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n wherein_o we_o ought_v so_o much_o to_o take_v heed_n how_o we_o pray_v unto_o this_o great_a god_n how_o will_v thou_o that_o god_n shall_v hear_v thou_o when_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o hear_v thyself_o will_v thou_o that_o god_n shall_v have_v remembrance_n of_o thou_o &_o thou_o do_v nowhit_o at_o all_o remember_v thyself_o this_o be_v to_o give_v ourselves_o for_o a_o pray_v unto_o our_o enemy_n and_o to_o offend_v the_o majesty_n of_o god_n this_o be_v also_o to_o watch_v with_o the_o eye_n and_o to_o sleep_v with_o the_o heart_n furthermore_o it_o be_v needful_a that_o the_o prayer_n have_v his_o effect_n and_o not_o be_v barren_a and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n wherefore_o the_o scripture_n have_v often_o time_n join_v with_o it_o alm_n and_o fast_v as_o the_o example_n be_v thereof_o in_o toby_n and_o in_o the_o good_a captain_n cornelius_n whereof_o it_o be_v speak_v in_o the_o 10._o of_o the_o act_n and_o in_o the_o 58._o of_o esay_n amongst_o other_o thing_n that_o the_o lord_n require_v of_o those_o which_o call_v upon_o he_o it_o be_v that_o they_o break_v their_o bread_n unto_o those_o which_o have_v hunger_n behold_v here_o the_o chief_a point_n that_o be_v requisite_a in_o true_a prayer_n that_o s._n cyprian_n describe_v bless_a be_v those_o who_o the_o lord_n shall_v find_v wake_v and_o pray_v
