may_v be_v effectual_o declare_v against_o and_o suppress_v as_o also_o all_o invitation_n &_o endeavour_n to_o draw_v in_o foreign_a force_n either_o from_o scotland_n or_o other_o foreign_a part_n vi_o that_o the_o continuation_n of_o the_o army_n in_o the_o pay_n of_o the_o state_n for_o some_o competent_a time_n while_o the_o matter_n in_o debate_n relate_v both_o to_o the_o army_n and_o kingdom_n may_v be_v conclude_v and_o settle_v be_v at_o present_a order_v and_o declare_v for_o before_o our_o draw_v back_o and_o the_o same_o with_o all_o speed_n to_o be_v effectual_o put_v into_o one_o establish_v way_n that_o the_o army_n may_v be_v enable_v to_o pay_v quatter_n for_o the_o ease_n of_o the_o country_n where_o it_o must_v lie_v and_o the_o soldiery_n the_o better_o keep_v from_o abuse_n to_o the_o country_n and_o reduce_v to_o that_o good_a order_n and_o discipline_n which_o have_v former_o be_v happy_o keep_v in_o this_o army_n though_o of_o late_a through_o want_n of_o pay_n and_o other_o justdiscon●ents_n which_o the_o late_a provocation_n put_v upon_o they_o unhapilie_o interrupt_v vii_o that_o during_o the_o same_o space_n the_o parliament_n will_v resolve_v not_o to_o propose_v any_o place_n for_o his_o majesty_n residence_n near_o to_o london_n than_o they_o will_v allow_v the_o quarter_n of_o the_o army_n to_o be_v now_o for_o our_o former_a desire_n of_o present_a suspend_v the_o impeach_v member_n from_o sit_v in_o the_o house_n i._o whereas_o we_o understand_v the_o house_n have_v vote_v that_o it_o do_v not_o appear_v that_o any_o thing_n have_v be_v say_v or_o do_v by_o they_o within_o the_o house_n touch_v any_o matter_n contain_v in_o the_o paper_n from_o the_o army_n for_o which_o the_o house_n can_v in_o justice_n suspend_v they_o though_o if_o way_n be_v give_v and_o open_v without_o breach_n of_o privilege_n for_o we_o to_o charge_v they_o with_o and_o for_o other_o to_o be_v examine_v free_o to_o testify_v unto_o such_o thing_n we_o shall_v not_o doubt_v to_o make_v such_o proceed_n and_o practice_n of_o they_o in_o the_o house_n to_o appear_v for_o which_o according_a to_o former_a precedent_n they_o just_o may_v and_o ought_v to_o be_v suspend_v yet_o we_o be_v so_o tender_a of_o privilege_n of_o parliament_n as_o that_o we_o shall_v at_o present_a forbear_n to_o reply_v or_o press_v further_o upon_o that_o point_n for_o the_o house_n proceed_n therein_o upon_o their_o own_o cognizance_n 2._o whereas_o the_o house_n of_o commons_o have_v vote_v that_o by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n no_o judgement_n strafford_n the_o archbishop_n of_o canterbury_n the_o l._n keeper_n finch_n and_o other_o yet_o we_o do_v declare_v that_o we_o have_v both_o particular_n and_o proof_n against_o they_o ready_a to_o produce_v but_o consider_v that_o the_o proceeding_n thereupon_o will_v probable_o take_v up_o much_o time_n and_o the_o present_a unsettle_a affair_n of_o the_o kingdom_n in_o relation_n to_o these_o great_a matter_n propose_v by_o we_o do_v require_v a_o speedy_a consideration_n we_o shall_v be_v willing_a that_o those_o great_a and_o more_o general_a matter_n of_o the_o kingdom_n be_v first_o consider_v of_o &_o settle_v before_o the_o censure_n of_o those_o member_n be_v determine_v and_o therefore_o because_o they_o may_v apprehend_v it_o some_o prejudice_n to_o they_o to_o have_v their_o particular_a charge_n give_v in_o and_o lie_v upon_o the_o 〈◊〉_d long_o undetermide_v we_o shall_v b●e_v willing_a to_o forbea●_n the_o give_v in_o of_o the_o particular_n against_o they_o till_o they_o may_v without_o interruption_n to_o the_o general_a affair_n be_v immediate_o proceed_v upon_o but_o if_o the_o house_n do_v think_v fit_a the_o particular_n against_o they_o be_v first_o deliver_v in_o we_o shall_v be_v ready_a to_o do_v it_o 3._o whereas_o we_o understand_v that_o the_o member_n charge_v have_v desire_a leave_n from_o the_o house_n to_o withdraw_v themselves_o we_o can_v but_o take_v notice_n of_o the_o modesty_n thereof_o so_o far_o as_o that_o we_o be_v content_v therewith_o for_o the_o present_a more_o quiet_a proceed_n to_o settle_v the_o perplex_a affair_n of_o the_o kingdom_n which_o without_o any_o private_a animosity_n against_o person_n be_v our_o great_a end_n in_o what_o we_o do_v only_o we_o declare_v that_o as_o we_o suppose_v the_o gentleman_n themselves_o from_o the_o same_o ground_n that_o induce_v they_o to_o offer_v this_o will_v still_o forbear_v to_o offer_v the_o contra●●_n till_o the_o matter_n concern_v they_o be_v hear_v and_o determine_v or_o to_o make_v any_o new_a interruption_n or_o disturbance_n to_o the_o proceed_n upon_o or_o setlement_n of_o the_o general_a 〈◊〉_d of_o the_o kingdom_n so_o we_o 27._o 1647._o uxbridge_n junii_fw-la 27._o whereas_o without_o order_n from_o the_o genenerall_n or_o the_o council_n of_o war_n nicholas_n cowley_n commissary_n general_n of_o provision_n have_v issue_v out_o warrant_n to_o some_o hundred_o within_o less_o than_o a_o mile_n of_o london_n to_o bring_v provision_n from_o thence_o into_o the_o army_n which_o he_o pretend_v to_o be_v randevouze_v between_o london_n and_o uxbridge_n whereas_o there_o be_v no_o such_o thing_n order_v either_o by_o the_o general_n or_o his_o council_n of_o war_n it_o be_v therefore_o this_o day_n order_v by_o the_o general_n and_o his_o council_n of_o war_n that_o the_o say_a commissary_n cow_n shall_v stand_v commit_v and_o he_o be_v hereby_o commit_v to_o the_o marshal_n from_o whence_o he_o be_v not_o
