marriage_n and_o consider_v the_o great_a alteration_n which_o have_v since_o fall_v out_o in_o that_o kingdom_n not_o only_o in_o reference_n to_o religion_n as_o well_o popish_a as_o reform_a but_o in_o reference_n to_o justice_n to_o policy_n to_o the_o finance_n and_o to_o war_n will_v no_o long_a question_n but_o that_o the_o earthquake_n which_o be_v to_o be_v after_o the_o witness_n have_v lyen_fw-we three_o day_n and_o a_o half_a dead_a do_v promise_n as_o surprise_v a_o change_n in_o france_n as_o to_o all_o those_o regard_n and_o a_o alteration_n wherewith_o all_o the_o world_n the_o pope_n they_o do_v so_o account_v it_o by_o call_v the_o king_n of_o france_n the_o most_o christian_n king_n and_o the_o elder_a son_n of_o the_o church_n and_o it_o be_v worthy_a of_o remark_n that_o even_o in_o st._n john_n time_n france_n be_v by_o way_n of_o excellency_n style_v the_o province_n because_o of_o all_o the_o province_n of_o the_o roman_a empire_n france_n which_o be_v then_o call_v gaul_n be_v the_o best_a and_o the_o most_o powerful_a this_o be_v so_o certain_a that_o the_o name_n do_v yet_o remain_v and_o be_v attribute_v to_o the_o southern_a part_n of_o france_n which_o be_v style_v province_n from_o the_o latin_a provincia_n it_o be_v therefore_o say_v in_o the_o text_n that_o the_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n fall_v the_o holy_a spirit_n do_v questionless_a intend_v by_o that_o expression_n the_o most_o excellent_a part_n of_o all_o so_o that_o it_o be_v from_o thence_o very_o natural_a to_o understand_v france_n by_o the_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n last_o we_o have_v already_o observe_v that_o it_o be_v not_o say_v that_o the_o two_o witness_n be_v kill_v and_o that_o they_o lay_v unbury_v in_o the_o place_n or_o street_n in_o the_o plural_a number_n but_o in_o the_o street_n of_o the_o great_a city_n in_o the_o singular_a which_o be_v as_o much_o as_o to_o say_v a_o popish_a kingdom_n mark_v out_o by_o way_n of_o excellency_n and_o therefore_o see_v the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v the_o most_o excellent_a of_o all_o the_o popish_a kingdom_n in_o his_o eye_n and_o see_v we_o have_v see_v the_o death_n which_o in_o so_o surprise_v a_o manner_n have_v befall_v the_o witness_n in_o france_n we_o may_v without_o any_o difficulty_n conclude_v that_o it_o be_v france_n which_o be_v this_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n that_o be_v to_o fall_v 6_o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n shall_v fall_v this_o may_v at_o the_o first_o view_n appear_v a_o dreadful_a prediction_n against_o france_n but_o yet_o it_o be_v not_o so_o for_o we_o must_v observe_v that_o this_o threaten_n be_v not_o as_o it_o will_v at_o first_o seem_v denounce_v against_o the_o ten_o part_n of_o the_o city_n but_o against_o the_o city_n itself_o because_o as_o that_o be_v the_o alone_a cause_n of_o the_o death_n of_o the_o two_o witness_n so_o that_o be_v also_o the_o object_n of_o god_n vengeance_n it_o be_v then_o the_o city_n the_o papal_a kingdom_n which_o be_v to_o receive_v a_o terrible_a loss_n by_o the_o fall_n away_o of_o france_n whereas_o france_n itself_o will_v increase_v both_o its_o strength_n and_o glory_n by_o that_o fall_n off_o and_o withdraw_a so_o that_o upon_o the_o whole_a i_o do_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o it_o be_v the_o conversion_n of_o that_o beautiful_a kingdom_n
