seven_o or_o more_o of_o they_o shall_v have_v power_n and_o authority_n to_o present_v to_o the_o parliament_n or_o council_n of_o state_n the_o name_n of_o such_o person_n and_o person_n have_v respect_n to_o the_o qualification_n declare_v by_o the_o parliament_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a to_o be_v colonel_n lieutenant_n colonel_n major_n captain_n and_o other_o commission_n officer_n of_o the_o say_a person_n so_o to_o be_v arm_v array_v and_o weapon_v which_o person_n so_o present_v and_o approve_v of_o by_o the_o parliament_n or_o council_n of_o state_n shall_v have_v commission_n sign_v by_o the_o speaker_n of_o the_o parliament_n as_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o army_n have_v and_o be_v so_o commissionated_a shall_v have_v power_n to_o train_n exercise_n and_o sum_n of_o twenty_o shilling_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v that_o if_o any_o person_n or_o person_n so_o to_o be_v assess_v or_o charge_v by_o the_o say_a commissioner_n shall_v refuse_v or_o neglect_v by_o the_o time_n to_o be_v appoint_v by_o the_o say_a commissioner_n to_o provide_v and_o furnish_v such_o sufficient_a horse_n horse_n arm_n and_o other_o furniture_n or_o to_o pay_v such_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n towards_o the_o provide_v and_o furnish_n as_o aforesaid_a that_o then_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a to_o and_o for_o the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o any_o seven_o or_o more_o of_o they_o to_o inflict_v a_o penalty_n upon_o such_o person_n and_o person_n not_o exceed_v twenty_o pound_n and_o also_o by_o warrant_n under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n
