arrear_n due_a for_o service_n in_o ireland_n before_o the_o five_o day_n of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o equal_o with_o the_o say_a officer_n before_o one_o thousand_o hereditament_n be_v upon_o which_o any_o rent_n be_v pay_v unto_o the_o church_n in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o and_o forty_o or_o one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o and_o one_o and_o which_o be_v forfeit_v and_o vest_v by_o this_o act_n in_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n and_o that_o be_v by_o this_o present_a act_n set_v out_o assign_v or_o intend_v his_o majesty_n by_o this_o act_n be_v in_o several_a wall_a town_n city_n corporation_n and_o burrough_n in_o this_o kingdom_n and_o by_o this_o act_n be_v set_v out_o assign_v and_o allot_v for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o commissioned_n officer_n their_o heir_n and_o assign_v as_o aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o every_o archbishop_n and_o bishop_n and_o minister_n who_o house_n in_o any_o of_o their_o respective_a see_v or_o church-living_n within_o the_o say_a town_n or_o suburb_n be_v waste_v or_o not_o habitable_a shall_v have_v set_v out_o unto_o they_o a_o handsome_a convenient_a house_n rend_v free_a other_o than_o the_o rent_n payable_a to_o his_o majesty_n which_o by_o the_o say_a archbishop_n bishop_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n and_o by_o the_o minister_n aforesaid_a be_v hereby_o payable_a to_o his_o majesty_n during_o the_o say_a term_n at_o and_o according_a to_o the_o same_o value_n that_o shall_v be_v set_v upon_o the_o yearly_a rent_n of_o such_o house_n set_v out_o and_o give_v into_o the_o possession_n of_o such_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n as_o also_o to_o such_o minister_n as_o abovesaid_a for_o the_o space_n of_o seven_o year_n to_o begin_v from_o the_o day_n such_o possession_n be_v give_v such_o house_n or_o house_n to_o be_v in_o the_o most_o convenient_a place_n for_o the_o minister_n residence_n and_o every_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n to_o have_v his_o own_o choice_n of_o the_o best_a forfeit_v house_n and_o garden_n within_o the_o city_n or_o suburb_n where_o his_o cathedral_n be_v during_o the_o aforesaid_a time_n and_o if_o such_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n or_o other_o minister_n have_v no_o house_n or_o house-stead_n belong_v to_o their_o see_v or_o rectory_n lie_v within_o the_o say_a town_n that_o then_o a_o convenient_a house_n out_o of_o the_o house_n aforesaid_a or_o house-stead_n at_o the_o election_n of_o the_o bishop_n or_o minister_n shall_v be_v set_v out_o to_o such_o archbishop_n bishop_n or_o minister_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o under_o the_o rent_n reservable_a to_o his_o majesty_n out_o of_o such_o house_n or_o house_n by_o this_o act_n to_o be_v pay_v to_o his_o majesty_n by_o such_o archbishop_n bishop_n or_o minister_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o and_o also_o be_v it_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o commissioner_n to_o be_v appoint_v by_o his_o majesty_n for_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o say_a declaration_n and_o instruction_n and_o this_o present_a act_n shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o of_o the_o say_a commission_n with_o the_o great_a indifference_n that_o may_v be_v to_o all_o person_n therein_o concern_v to_o act_n be_v as_o good_a and_o effectual_a in_o the_o law_n to_o all_o intent_n construction_n and_o purpose_n as_o though_o the_o same_o have_v be_v particular_o and_o distinct_o mention_v or_o set_v down_o by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o recompense_n or_o satisfaction_n to_o be_v make_v or_o give_v by_o any_o of_o the_o protestant_a officer_n who_o serve_v in_o the_o irish_a war_n before_o the_o five_o day_n of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o for_o or_o in_o respect_n of_o any_o building_n or_o reparation_n of_o any_o message_n or_o tenement_n herein_o before_o appoint_v as_o a_o security_n for_o their_o respective_a arrear_n shall_v not_o exceed_v a_o sir_n george_n lane_n knight_n and_o whereas_o there_o have_v be_v several_a barony_n reserve_v to_o reprize_n such_o inhabitant_n and_o native_n of_o city_n and_o wall_v town_n in_o ireland_n as_o be_v exclude_v from_o their_o propriety_n in_o the_o say_a town_n or_o city_n some_o of_o who_o may_v perhaps_o be_v restorable_a by_o this_o act_n to_o their_o ancient_a propriety_n be_v it_o therefore_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o such_o shall_v be_v restore_v to_o their_o ancient_a propriety_n that_o then_o so_o much_o of_o the_o land_n reserve_v in_o those_o barony_n of_o equal_a value_n worth_a and_o purchase_n to_o the_o land_n and_o house_n so_o to_o be_v restore_v to_o the_o say_a inhabitant_n and_o native_n be_v and_o shall_v be_v reprize_v to_o the_o say_a officer_n serve_v before_o the_o five_o of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o for_o and_o in_o lieu_n of_o what_o land_n and_o house_n shall_v be_v so_o restore_v back_o to_o the_o say_v former_a proprietor_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o burrough_n corporation_n or_o town_n be_v and_o continue_v actual_o incorporate_v in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o one_o and_o be_v allot_v and_o set_v out_o to_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n not_o as_o burrough_n corporation_n or_o town_n corporate_a but_o measure_v as_o part_v of_o their_o land_n assign_v they_o the_o say_a burrough_n corporation_n and_o town_n corporate_a respective_o be_v hereby_o assign_v towards_o the_o satisfy_a the_o arrear_n of_o the_o say_a officer_n before_o the_o five_o of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o and_o be_v it_o hereby_o further_o declare_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n
thereof_o from_o the_o kingdom_n of_o ireland_n in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o seven_o be_v since_o expulse_v from_o their_o habitation_n and_o estate_n in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o usurp_v power_n be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o such_o of_o the_o inhabitant_n and_o proprietor_n of_o the_o say_a city_n and_o town_n as_o constant_o adhere_v to_o the_o royal_a authority_n until_o their_o respective_a death_n or_o withdraw_v of_o the_o same_o royal_a authority_n from_o the_o say_a kingdom_n in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o &_o seven_o and_o do_v not_o at_o any_o time_n after_o adhere_v to_o the_o papal_a clergy_n or_o other_o the_o irish_a rebel_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o royal_a authority_n and_o the_o heir_n and_o widow_n of_o such_o of_o they_o as_o be_v dead_a shall_v be_v restore_v unto_o and_o have_v and_o enjoy_v as_o of_o their_o former_a estate_n all_o and_o every_o their_o and_o every_o of_o their_o house_n land_n tenement_n and_o hereditament_n freedom_n and_o immunity_n respective_o in_o the_o say_a city_n of_o dublin_n and_o town_n of_o drogheda_n and_o elsewhere_o any_o be_v make_v touch_v corporation_n do_v not_o extend_v further_o then_o to_o the_o removal_n and_o disfranchizment_n of_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v be_v find_v guilty_a of_o the_o breach_n thereof_o which_o rule_n order_n and_o direction_n so_o as_o aforesaid_a to_o be_v make_v shall_v be_v as_o good_a and_o effectual_a in_o law_n to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n as_o if_o the_o same_o have_v be_v establish_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n and_o shall_v remain_v continue_v and_o abide_v in_o force_n for_o such_o and_o so_o long_a time_n as_o in_o the_o say_a rule_n order_n and_o direction_n shall_v be_v limit_v and_o appoint_v provide_v nevertheless_o that_o no_o undisposed_a nor_o unconfirmed_a land_n tenement_n or_o hereditament_n in_o the_o province_n of_o ulster_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v come_v unto_o your_o majesty_n hand_n shall_v be_v set_v out_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o deficient_a adventure_n but_o that_o the_o same_o may_v be_v whole_o reserve_v and_o dispose_v of_o for_o reprisal_n according_a to_o the_o full_a value_n worth_a and_o purchase_n of_o the_o same_o unless_o the_o forfeit_a land_n in_o other_o province_n shall_v not_o be_v find_v sufficient_a to_o satisfy_v those_o deficiency_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o singular_a the_o land_n and_o tenement_n in_o ireland_n give_v and_o grant_v by_o his_o majesty_n under_o his_o great_a seal_n of_o england_n or_o ireland_n and_o any_o way_n ratify_v confirm_v or_o approve_v by_o this_o present_a act_n shall_v stand_v charge_v and_o be_v chargeable_a with_o a_o year_n rend_v or_o a_o year_n and_o a_o half_n rend_v and_o such_o like_a other_o quitrent_n and_o annual_a payment_n wherewith_o any_o the_o land_n of_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n stand_v respective_o charge_v to_o be_v raise_v levy_a and_o pay_v in_o like_a manner_n as_o other_o the_o like_a rent_n and_o payment_n by_o this_o act_n before_o mention_v be_v appoint_v provide_v always_o that_o where_o any_o great_a rent_n be_v reserve_v upon_o any_o such_o grant_n and_o letter_n patent_n as_o aforesaid_a than_o the_o quitrent_n reserve_v by_o this_o act_n will_v amount_v unto_o that_o then_o and_o in_o such_o case_n the_o rent_n reserve_v by_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n shall_v be_v due_o answer_v and_o pay_v and_o no_o other_o quitrent_n any_o thing_n before_o contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o save_v to_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n all_o and_o singular_a the_o estate_n right_o title_n and_o interest_n of_o in_o and_o to_o any_o honour_n manor_n castle_n land_n and_o tenement_n which_o his_o majesty_n royal_a father_n have_v upon_o the_o two_o and_o twenty_o day_n of_o october_n liable_a to_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o such_o arrear_n in_o the_o county_n of_o kildare_n and_o elsewhere_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o ireland_n lie_v most_o convenient_a unto_o the_o estate_n of_o
