there_o be_v great_a sorrow_n among_o the_o jew_n and_o fast_v and_o weep_v and_o mourning_n and_o many_o lay_v in_o sackcloth_n and_o ash_n but_o they_o all_o pray_v unto_o god_n and_o he_o deliver_v they_o and_o save_v they_o from_o their_o enemy_n 9.17_o chap._n 9.17_o and_o turn_v the_o day_n of_o famine_n into_o the_o day_n of_o feast_v and_o joy_n so_o let_v we_o give_v ourselves_o unto_o continual_a prayer_n that_o the_o lord_n may_v be_v entreat_v of_o we_o at_o the_o last_o and_o so_o in_o his_o appoint_a time_n it_o may_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o whereas_o many_o of_o the_o chief_a city_n and_o town_n among_o we_o have_v be_v a_o long_a time_n in_o great_a perplexity_n by_o reason_n of_o this_o grievous_a pestilence_n and_o contagious_a mortalititie_n and_o in_o all_o place_n of_o this_o realm_n beside_o whither_o tiding_n of_o their_o estate_n have_v and_o do_v weekly_o come_v they_o have_v be_v in_o sorrow_n and_o great_a heaviness_n and_o in_o weep_v and_o mourn_v and_o fast_v now_o there_o may_v be_v cause_n of_o rejoice_v and_o praise_v god_n and_o these_o day_n of_o sorrow_n and_o fast_v may_v be_v turn_v into_o the_o day_n of_o great_a joy_n and_o feast_n that_o so_o we_o may_v as_o this_o people_n wish_v for_o themselves_o here_o rejoice_v when_o he_o shall_v fulfil_v all_o our_o petition_n which_o the_o lord_n of_o his_o infinite_a mercy_n grant_v for_o jesus_n christ_n sake_n amen_n the_o sixteenth_o sermon_n upon_o the_o five_o verse_n that_o we_o may_v rejoice_v in_o thy_o salvation_n etc._n etc._n as_o they_o bring_v this_o for_o common_a peace_n and_o tranquillity_n that_o shall_v follow_v namely_o that_o we_o shall_v take_v they_o from_o god_n as_o matter_n of_o great_a joy_n and_o as_o when_o there_o be_v any_o common_a affliction_n and_o plague_n in_o the_o land_n of_o what_o kind_n soever_o we_o shall_v be_v affect_v with_o it_o and_o be_v sorrowful_a for_o it_o and_o not_o have_v that_o stoninesse_n and_o hardness_n of_o heart_n that_o be_v in_o too_o many_o whereby_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o shall_v make_v light_n of_o such_o thing_n and_o not_o be_v move_v with_o they_o as_o we_o ought_v so_o we_o shall_v be_v touch_v with_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o common_a benefit_n to_o rejoice_v in_o they_o because_o we_o have_v our_o part_n in_o they_o and_o the_o great_a that_o those_o benefit_n be_v the_o more_o shall_v we_o rejoice_v in_o they_o and_o the_o more_o shall_v be_v our_o joy_n for_o they_o or_o else_o we_o can_v be_v so_o thankful_a unto_o god_n for_o they_o as_o we_o ought_v we_o shall_v not_o then_o be_v so_o careless_a that_o we_o shall_v not_o mark_v the_o common_a benefit_n of_o our_o time_n nor_o so_o blockish_a and_o hard_a heart_a that_o in_o mark_v of_o they_o we_o shall_v not_o rejoice_v in_o they_o for_o we_o see_v that_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n in_o their_o several_a age_n and_o time_n have_v not_o only_o great_o rejoice_v in_o the_o common_a benefit_n of_o the_o church_n and_o commonwealth_n wherein_o they_o have_v have_v their_o part_n with_o the_o rest_n of_o their_o brethren_n but_o they_o have_v open_o profess_v it_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o good_a example_n of_o other_o as_o when_o they_o return_v from_o the_o captivity_n of_o babylon_n where_o they_o have_v be_v long_o not_o only_o in_o a_o strange_a country_n but_o under_o idolater_n now_o when_o they_o come_v home_o and_o have_v the_o freedom_n of_o their_o conscience_n in_o god_n service_n and_o that_o in_o their_o own_o country_n they_o be_v not_o only_o fill_v with_o joy_n but_o they_o speak_v of_o it_o among_o themselves_o to_o their_o mutual_a comfort_n and_o as_o when_o they_o go_v out_o they_o weep_v and_o be_v touch_v with_o the_o common_a misery_n of_o that_o time_n and_o put_v away_o all_o token_n of_o joy_n from_o they_o 137.2_o psal_n 137.2_o for_o by_o the_o water_n of_o babylon_n they_o hang_v their_o harp_n
