over_o their_o head_n the_o godly_a straight_a way_n fly_v to_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o call_v upon_o it_o and_o receive_v help_n in_o due_a time_n but_o our_o jew_n and_o anabaptist_n when_o persecution_n come_v resist_v their_o enemy_n with_o force_n and_o arm_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o will_v they_o boast_v themselves_o to_o be_v the_o people_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o they_o be_v always_o so_o miserable_o confound_v now_o the_o prophet_n tell_v what_o it_o be_v that_o purchase_v the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o godly_a to_o wit_n the_o passion_n and_o death_n of_o christ_n they_o shall_v see_v 12.10_o and_o look_v upon_o i_o say_v the_o lord_n who_o they_o have_v pierce_v here_o god_n speak_v in_o his_o own_o person_n who_o before_o speak_v in_o the_o prophet_n person_n and_o confess_v that_o he_o be_v pierce_v that_o be_v nail_v upon_o the_o cross_a and_o wound_v and_o it_o be_v here_o prove_v by_o this_o text_n that_o christ_n be_v true_a god_n and_o man_n who_o shall_v suffer_v and_o die_v for_o we_o and_o it_o follow_v also_o that_o christ_n with_o all_o christifidelians_n shall_v rise_v again_o for_o he_o have_v promise_v before_o that_o he_o will_v geve_v his_o holy_a spirit_n unto_o the_o godly_a that_o he_o will_v destroy_v the_o enemy_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o that_o he_o will_v preserve_v and_o defend_v the_o godly_a if_o therefore_o he_o must_v keep_v and_o preserve_v his_o elect_a for_o ever_o and_o due_o punish_v all_o the_o gentile_n and_o their_o enemy_n it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o he_o must_v rise_v from_o death_n and_o raise_v up_o his_o servant_n person_n and_o govern_v they_o for_o ever_o and_o here_o observe_v this_o that_o god_n and_o man_n christ_n be_v one_o person_n for_o he_o say_v they_o shall_v look_v upon_o i_o who_o they_o have_v pierce_v christ_n be_v pierce_v according_a to_o his_o manhood_n and_o not_o according_a to_o his_o godhead_n alone_o he_o speak_v plain_o
