he_o she_o or_o their_o nominee_n or_o nominees_n or_o one_o of_o they_o sign_v by_o the_o minister_n or_o churchwarden_n of_o the_o parish_n where_o such_o nominee_n shall_v be_v then_o live_v oath_n or_o make_v oath_n or_o make_v oath_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o life_n of_o he_o she_o or_o their_o respective_a nominee_n or_o one_o of_o they_o upon_o the_o day_n when_o the_o payment_n shall_v become_v due_a before_o one_o or_o more_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o county_n ride_v city_n or_o town_n wherein_o such_o person_n at_o the_o time_n of_o make_v the_o say_a oath_n shall_v reside_v which_o oath_n the_o act_n give_v power_n to_o administer_v and_o the_o justice_n or_o justice_n shall_v make_v a_o certificate_n thereof_o for_o which_o oath_n and_o certificate_n no_o fee_n or_o reward_n shall_v be_v require_v and_o the_o certificate_n shall_v be_v file_v in_o the_o office_n of_o receipt_n of_o exchequer_n and_o if_o any_o person_n shall_v be_v guilty_a of_o a_o false_a oath_n oath_n penalty_n of_o a_o false_a oath_n or_o forge_v a_o certificate_n and_o be_v thereof_o lawful_o convict_v he_o shall_v incur_v the_o penalty_n to_o be_v inflict_v upon_o person_n who_o commit_v wilful_a perjury_n or_o forgery_n and_o in_o case_n any_o nominee_n at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o demand_n be_v resident_a in_o scotland_n or_o beyond_o the_o sea_n and_o any_o one_o or_o more_o baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n shall_v certify_v that_o upon_o proof_n to_o he_o or_o they_o make_v which_o proof_n may_v be_v take_v in_o a_o summary_n way_n it_o do_v seem_v probable_a that_o the_o nominee_n be_v live_v which_o certificate_n be_v to_o be_v give_v and_o examination_n make_v without_o fee_n or_o charge_n the_o say_a certificate_n be_v file_v shall_v be_v a_o sufficient_a warrant_n for_o make_v the_o say_a payment_n and_o if_o any_o person_n shall_v receive_v any_o payment_n after_o the_o death_n of_o his_o nominee_n nominee_n penalty_n for_o receive_v money_n after_o death_n of_o nominee_n he_o shall_v forfeit_v treble_a the_o value_n of_o the_o money_n so_o receive_v one_o half_a to_o their_o majesty_n their_o heir_n and_o successor_n the_o other_o half_o to_o the_o party_n that_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o xxviii_o supply_v if_o the_o whole_a 1200000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v how_o the_o deficiency_n to_o be_v supply_v in_o case_n the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 1200000_o l._n shall_v not_o be_v subscribe_v and_o pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n than_o so_o much_o of_o the_o say_v yearly_a sum_n of_o 100000_o l._n hereby_o intend_v to_o answer_v the_o recompense_n for_o the_o same_o as_o by_o such_o deficiency_n shall_v by_o this_o act_n be_v undisposed_a be_v hereby_o appropriate_v so_o far_o as_o the_o same_o shall_v amount_v to_o pay_v any_o person_n and_o person_n who_o shall_v advance_v and_o pay_v any_o sum_n of_o money_n into_o the_o exchequer_n before_o the_o first_o of_o february_n 1694._o on_o account_n to_o have_v a_o annuity_n or_o annuity_n for_o one_o two_o or_o three_o life_n such_o respective_a sum_n for_o such_o respective_a life_n or_o life_n according_a to_o such_o rate_n and_o proportion_n and_o for_o such_o time_n and_o under_o such_o rule_n and_o direction_n as_o be_v herein_o before_o contain_v with_o relation_n to_o such_o as_o shall_v advance_v and_o pay_v the_o say_v 300000_o l._n xxix_o up_o if_o the_o whole_a 1500000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v by_o the_o one_a of_o octob._n 1694._o their_o majesty_n may_v borrow_v so_o much_o as_o will_v make_v it_o up_o if_o the_o whole_a sum_n of_o 1500000_o l._n be_v not_o pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n upon_o this_o act_n before_o the_o first_o of_o october_n 1694._o then_o their_o majesty_n or_o their_o officer_n in_o the_o receipt_n of_o the_o exchequer_n by_o their_o command_n and_o appointment_n may_v borrow_v for_o their_o majesty_n use_n by_o way_n of_o loan_n any_o sum_n or_o sum_n which_o together_o with_o the_o value_n of_o the_o sum_n before_o the_o say_v first_o of_o october_n contribute_v shall_v not_o exceed_v the_o sum_n of_o 1500000_o l._n which_o sum_n or_o sum_n so_o take_v by_o way_n of_o loan_n may_v be_v charge_v upon_o the_o credit_n of_o their_o majesty_n exchequer_n in_o general_n and_o tally_n of_o loan_n and_o order_n of_o repayment_n shall_v be_v levy_v and_o draw_v according_o which_o order_n shall_v be_v assignable_a and_o transferrable_a all_o sum_n of_o money_n so_o borrow_v not_o exceed_v as_o aforesaid_a together_o with_o interest_n for_o the_o same_o not_o exceed_v 8_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n per_fw-la annum_fw-la cent._n at_o 8_o l._n per_fw-la cent._n to_o be_v pay_v every_o three_o month_n until_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o principal_a shall_v be_v payable_a and_o satisfy_v unto_o the_o lender_n or_o lender_n his_o her_o or_o their_o executor_n administrator_n or_o assign_v out_o of_o the_o money_n bring_v into_o the_o exchequer_n by_o contribution_n upon_o this_o act_n defect_n aid_n grant_v by_o next_o parliament_n to_o supply_v defect_n so_o far_o as_o the_o same_o shall_v extend_v
