thereof_o to_o the_o alderman_n or_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n respective_o watchman_n that_o to_o every_o infect_a house_n there_o be_v appoint_v two_o watchman_n one_o for_o the_o day_n and_o the_o other_o for_o the_o night_n and_o that_o these_o watchman_n have_v a_o special_a care_n that_o no_o person_n go_v in_o or_o out_o of_o such_o infect_a house_n whereof_o they_o have_v the_o and_o the_o watchman_n by_o night_n till_o six_o in_o the_o morning_n surgeon_n that_o there_o be_v a_o special_a care_n to_o appoint_v woman_n searcher_n in_o every_o parish_n such_o as_o be_v of_o for_o their_o better_a assistance_n herein_o forasmuch_o as_o there_o have_v be_v heretofore_o great_a abuse_n in_o misreport_v the_o disease_n to_o the_o further_o spread_v of_o the_o infection_n it_o be_v therefore_o order_v that_o there_o be_v choose_v and_o appoint_v three_o able_a and_o discreet_a surgeon_n beside_o those_o three_o that_o do_v already_o belong_v to_o the_o pesthouse_n among_o who_o the_o city_n and_o liberty_n to_o be_v quarter_v as_o the_o place_n lie_v most_o apt_a and_o convenient_a and_o every_o of_o these_o six_o to_o have_v one_o quarter_n for_o his_o limit_v and_o the_o say_a surgeon_n in_o every_o of_o their_o limit_n to_o join_v with_o the_o searcher_n for_o the_o view_n of_o the_o body_n to_o the_o end_n there_o may_v be_v a_o true_a report_n make_v of_o the_o disease_n and_o further_o that_o the_o say_v surgeon_n shall_v visit_v and_o search_v such_o like_a person_n as_o shall_v either_o send_v for_o they_o or_o be_v name_v and_o direct_v unto_o they_o by_o the_o examiner_n of_o every_o parish_n and_o inform_v themselves_o of_o the_o disease_n of_o the_o say_a party_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o the_o say_a surgeon_n be_v to_o be_v sequester_v from_o all_o other_o cure_n and_o keep_v only_o to_o this_o disease_n of_o the_o infection_n it_o be_v order_v that_o every_o of_o the_o say_a surgeon_n shall_v have_v twelve_o penny_n a_o body_n search_v by_o they_o to_o be_v pay_v out_o of_o the_o good_n of_o the_o party_n search_v if_o he_o be_v able_a or_o otherwise_o by_o the_o parish_n order_n concern_v infect_v house_n and_o person_n sick_a of_o the_o plague_n notice_n to_o be_v give_v of_o the_o sickness_n the_o master_n of_o every_o house_n assoon_o as_o any_o one_o in_o his_o house_n complain_v either_o of_o botch_n or_o to_o the_o examiner_n of_o health_n within_o two_o hour_n after_o the_o say_a sign_n shall_v appear_v sequestration_n of_o the_o sick_a as_o soon_o as_o any_o man_n shall_v be_v find_v by_o this_o examiner_n chirurgeon_n or_o searcher_n to_o be_v sick_a of_o the_o plague_n he_o shall_v the_o same_o night_n be_v sequester_v in_o the_o same_o house_n and_o in_o case_n he_o be_v so_o sequester_v then_o though_o he_o afterward_o die_v not_o the_o house_n wherein_o he_o sicken_v shall_v be_v shut_v up_o for_o a_o month_n after_o the_o use_n of_o due_a preseruative_n take_v by_o the_o rest_n air_v the_o stuff_n for_o sequestration_n of_o the_o good_n and_o stuff_n of_o the_o infect_v their_o bed_n and_o apparel_n and_o hang_n of_o chamber_n must_v be_v well_o ayr_v with_o fire_n and_o such_o perfume_n as_o be_v requisite_a within_o the_o infect_a house_n before_o they_o be_v take_v again_o to_o use_v this_o to_o be_v do_v by_o the_o appointment_n of_o the_o examiner_n shut_v up_o of_o the_o house_n if_o any_o person_n shall_v have_v visit_v any_o man_n know_v to_o be_v infect_v of_o the_o plague_n or_o enter_v willing_o into_o any_o know_a infect_a house_n be_v not_o allow_v the_o house_n wherein_o he_o inhabit_v shall_v be_v shut_v up_o for_o certain_a day_n by_o the_o examiner_n direction_n none_o to_o be_v remove_v out_o of_o

to_o be_v pay_v and_o so_o as_o the_o total_a sum_n of_o such_o taxation_n of_o the_o parish_n in_o every_o county_n amount_v not_o above_o the_o rate_n of_o two_o penny_n for_o every_o parish_n quarter_n session_n to_o be_v hold_v next_o after_o the_o feast_n of_o easter_n in_o every_o year_n to_o such_o other_o as_o shall_v from_o year_n to_o year_n in_o form_n aforesaid_a successive_o be_v elect_v treasurer_n marshal_n for_o the_o say_a county_n city_n town_n or_o place_n corporate_a which_o say_v treasurer_n or_o one_o of_o they_o shall_v pay_v over_o the_o same_o to_o the_o lord_n chief_a justice_n of_o england_n and_o knight_n marshal_n for_o the_o time_n be_v equal_o to_o be_v divide_v to_o the_o use_n aforesaid_a take_v their_o acquittance_n for_o the_o same_o or_o in_o default_n of_o the_o say_v chief_a justice_n to_o the_o next_o ancient_a justice_n of_o the_o king_n bench_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o if_o any_o churchwarden_n or_o high_a constable_n 〈◊〉_d or_o his_o executor_n or_o administrator_n shall_v fail_v to_o make_v payment_n in_o form_n above_o specify_v than_o every_o churchwarden_n his_o executor_n or_o administrator_n so_o offend_v shall_v forfeit_v of_o money_n which_o shall_v be_v remain_v in_o the_o say_a stock_n of_o any_o county_n shall_v by_o discretion_n of_o the_o more_o part_n of_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n in_o their_o quarter_n session_n be_v order_v distribute_v and_o bestow_v for_o the_o relief_n of_o the_o poor_a hospital_n of_o that_o county_n and_o of_o those_o that_o shall_v sustain_v loss_n by_o fire_n water_n the_o
