the_o patriarch_n and_o apostle_n honourable_a and_o glorious_a in_o the_o triumphant_a church_n the_o answer_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o promise_v make_v to_o the_o father_n and_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o truth_n and_o save_v health_n deliver_v to_o the_o whole_a church_n by_o the_o holy_a apostle_n and_o in_o whatsoever_o respect_n beside_o that_o you_o can_v reckon_v neither_o utter_o destitute_a of_o all_o understanding_n but_o alack_o how_o be_v it_o possible_a for_o they_o to_o take_v these_o thing_n spiritual_o who_o be_v altogether_o carnal_a lead_v by_o master_n and_o teacher_n which_o be_v themselves_o void_a of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n but_o out_o of_o popery_n in_o this_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v hard_o to_o find_v any_o so_o ignorant_a that_o think_v not_o that_o these_o thing_n ought_v to_o be_v spiritual_o understand_v apoc._n 21._o 22._o the_o text_n and_o ⸫_o temple_n i_o see_v not_o therein_o for_o our_o lord_n god_n omnipotent_a be_v the_o temple_n thereof_o and_o the_o lamb_n the_o note_n all_o external_a sacrifice_n which_o now_o be_v the_o necessary_a duty_n of_o the_o faithful_a shall_v then_o cease_v and_o therefore_o shall_v need_v no_o material_a temple_n the_o answer_n the_o sacrifice_n which_o your_o mind_n run_v of_o be_v now_o no_o duty_n of_o a_o christian_n and_o though_o we_o have_v now_o place_n to_o meet_v in_o to_o hear_v and_o learn_v the_o word_n to_o pray_v and_o to_o praise_v god_n in_o to_o celebrate_v the_o mystery_n which_o he_o have_v leave_v to_o his_o church_n and_o to_o use_v all_o spiritual_a exercise_n yet_o temple_n we_o have_v none_o for_o god_n himself_o be_v our_o temple_n 19_o for_o we_o dwell_v in_o he_o and_o we_o be_v his_o temple_n for_o his_o spirit_n dwell_v in_o us._n as_o for_o your_o propitiatory_a sacrifice_n you_o may_v take_v pain_n to_o return_v they_o to_o rome_n from_o whence_o they_o come_v apoc._n 21._o 27._o the_o text_n there_o shall_v ⸫_o not_o enter_v into_o it_o any_o pollute_a thing_n nor_o that_o do_v abomination_n and_o make_v lie_v but_o they_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n of_o the_o lamb_n the_o note_n none_o not_o perfect_o cleanse_v of_o their_o sin_n can_v enter_v into_o this_o heavenly_a jerusalem_n the_o answer_n you_o know_v that_o in_o this_o life_n we_o know_v but_o in_o part_n we_o love_v but_o in_o part_n 9_o and_o therefore_o no_o work_n perfect_o good_a can_v proceed_v from_o us._n those_o therefore_o that_o put_v confidence_n in_o the_o meritoriousnesse_n of_o man_n work_n can_v not_o enter_v into_o this_o jerusalem_n and_o i_o muse_v that_o you_o tremble_v not_o and_o quake_v not_o when_o you_o
