because_o the_o place_n where_o they_o live_v so_o long_o hide_v and_o conceal_v be_v near_o the_o tartarian_n signify_v in_o who_o language_n the_o word_n turk_n be_v a_o tartarian_a word_n signify_v one_o that_o be_v accurse_v and_o a_o vagabond_n but_o the_o most_o probable_a opinion_n and_o that_o which_o come_v near_o the_o truth_n be_v that_o they_o be_v natural_o descend_v from_o the_o blood_n and_o brood_n of_o the_o ancient_a scythian_n call_v nomades_n who_o use_v to_o wander_v up_o and_o down_o in_o tent_n as_o do_v at_o this_o day_n many_o of_o the_o tartarian_n in_o their_o know_v by_o the_o name_n of_o turk_n the_o which_o country_n be_v now_o also_o inhabit_v by_o the_o tartar_n it_o be_v to_o be_v presume_v that_o both_o these_o people_n be_v of_o one_o and_o the_o same_o descent_n their_o language_n not_o much_o differ_v or_o disagree_v each_o from_o other_o and_o either_o of_o they_o have_v at_o first_o use_v and_o imitate_v the_o manner_n life_n and_o custom_n of_o those_o ancient_a scythian_n and_o therefore_o it_o may_v well_o be_v that_o the_o name_n of_o turk_n be_v give_v they_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o wander_a course_n of_o life_n use_v by_o they_o and_o whereas_o both_o the_o scythian_n in_o time_n past_a and_o the_o tartar_n after_o they_o have_v ever_o be_v distinguish_v into_o many_o &_o sundry_a people_n it_o seem_v that_o the_o turk_n be_v one_o special_a people_n of_o the_o tartarian_n who_o seat_n and_o dwelling_n seem_v to_o be_v either_o very_o near_o or_o within_o the_o strait_n and_o desert_n of_o the_o mount_n caucasus_n which_o be_v also_o call_v the_o caspian_a strait_n be_v adjoin_v to_o that_o part_n of_o the_o country_n which_o be_v near_o tanais_n but_o how_o so_o ever_o it_o be_v

and_o that_o mischance_n do_v seldom_o come_v unaccompanied_a so_o the_o hateful_a and_o odious_a act_n of_o this_o usurper_n be_v the_o occasion_n of_o many_o commotion_n and_o tumult_n and_o of_o many_o change_n and_o alteration_n in_o diverse_a part_n of_o the_o empire_n for_o the_o head_n and_o chief_a commander_n have_v encroch_v upon_o the_o estate_n by_o so_o notorious_a a_o example_n of_o disloyalty_n treason_n and_o murder_n it_o seem_v a_o small_a matter_n unto_o the_o member_n to_o participate_v in_o the_o like_a vice_n for_o thereupon_o begin_v all_o care_n of_o religion_n regard_n of_o piety_n and_o the_o covetousness_n of_o the_o clergy_n make_v they_o neglect_v their_o particular_a duty_n then_o grow_v the_o usurpation_n of_o supremacy_n in_o the_o church_n of_o
