therefore_o that_o invention_n that_o jonas_n here_o speak_v of_o all_o the_o ninevite_n i_o do_v refuse_v for_o rather_o will_v god_n declare_v that_o although_o most_o just_a cause_n be_v there_o the_o word_n admit_v a_o contrary_a sense_n and_o exposition_n even_o that_o the_o speech_n of_o jonas_n by_o and_o by_o come_v to_o the_o king_n ear_n and_o i_o rather_o incline_v to_o this_o exposition_n and_o judgement_n for_o jonas_n seem_v exegeticallie_o or_o expositinal_o to_o show_v how_o the_o ninevite_n put_v on_o sackcloth_n this_o he_o speak_v brief_o vers_fw-la 5._o and_o now_o he_o utter_v the_o same_o more_o large_o and_o we_o know_v that_o this_o order_n be_v much_o use_v among_o the_o hebrew_n to_o tâ—â—th_n the_o sum_n of_o thing_n in_o few_o word_n and_o afterward_o to_o add_v the_o explication_n therefore_o because_o in_o the_o five_o verse_n jonas_n say_v that_o the_o ninevite_n be_v cover_v with_o sackcloth_n and_o proclaim_v a_o fast_a and_o now_o in_o this_o verse_n he_o seem_v to_o express_v more_o evident_o how_o this_o be_v do_v even_o by_o the_o king_n commandment_n and_o certain_o it_o be_v credible_a that_o the_o fast_o be_v not_o command_v in_o the_o king_n city_n appoint_v only_o by_o the_o consent_n of_o the_o common_a people_n when_o as_o the_o king_n be_v there_o and_o his_o counselor_n because_o therefore_o it_o be_v more_o agreeable_a that_o the_o edict_n concern_v the_o fast_a proceed_v from_o the_o king_n therefore_o i_o willing_o do_v so_o ioygne_a these_o two_o verse_n together_o that_o the_o first_o may_v signify_v the_o jonas_n yea_o the_o chief_a monarchy_n in_o those_o day_n yield_v himself_o so_o obedient_a at_o the_o preach_n of_o jonas_n it_o be_v sure_o worthy_a the_o note_n we_o see_v that_o king_n wax_v proud_a oftentimes_o because_o they_o think_v that_o they_o be_v exempt_v from_o the_o common_a fort_n of_o man_n and_o so_o lyfte_v they_o up_o themselves_o above_o law_n and_o hereby_o it_o come_v
