other_o shere_v sheep_n keep_v in_o pasture_n or_o marsh_n as_o be_v afore_o say_v two_o penny_n and_o of_o every_o shere_v sheep_n keep_v on_o commons_n or_o on_o several_a ground_n commen_o use_v to_o be_v tyll_v three_o half_a penny_n to_o be_v pay_v yearly_o during_o the_o say_v iii_o year_n by_o the_o owner_n or_o owner_n of_o the_o same_o sheep_n &_o not_o by_o any_o person_n that_o have_v have_v sheep_n chargeable_a to_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o say_a relief_n be_v raze_v and_o gather_v into_o one_o hole_n and_o entire_a some_o and_o value_n shall_v be_v find_v great_a and_o more_o for_o the_o advauncement_n of_o this_o relief_n than_o the_o payment_n that_o ought_v to_o be_v make_v by_o the_o polle_n of_o the_o say_a sheep_n as_o be_v before_o declare_v that_o then_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o say_a sheep_n shall_v not_o be_v chargeable_a with_o the_o payment_n after_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o polle_n and_o if_o it_o shall_v appear_v that_o the_o payment_n after_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o polle_n shall_v exceed_v in_o value_n and_o be_v more_o beneficial_a to_o the_o king_n than_o the_o money_n rate_v of_o the_o hole_n substance_n of_o any_o person_n that_o then_o such_o person_n have_v sheep_n shall_v be_v charge_v to_o pay_v after_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o polle_n and_o not_o after_o the_o value_n of_o his_o entire_a substance_n the_o relief_n pay_v the_o mistress_n father_n or_o mother_n shall_v be_v charge_v with_o the_o payment_n thereof_o for_o such_o person_n in_o like_a manner_n and_o form_n as_o he_o or_o she_o be_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v for_o the_o relief_n due_a by_o themselves_o and_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o every_o such_o master_n and_o mistress_n to_o defalk_v abate_v and_o reteigne_v of_o the_o wage_n of_o such_o set_v &_o leviable_a within_o the_o precinct_n limit_n and_o bound_n where_o they_o shall_v be_v so_o limit_v to_o gather_v &_o receive_v to_o every_o of_o the_o which_o collector_n so_o several_o name_v thesaid_a commissioner_n or_o two_o of_o they_o at_o the_o jest_n yearly_o during_o thesaid_a iii_o year_n within_o xii_o day_n next_o after_o thesay_v whole_a somme_fw-fr of_o thesaid_a by_o thauctoritie_n aforesaid_a that_o thesaid_a commissioner_n have_v authority_n by_o this_o act_n to_o name_n thesay_v high_a collector_n of_o thesay_v relief_n yearly_o during_o thesay_v three_o year_n shall_v immediate_o upon_o their_o nomination_n and_o election_n take_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n sufficient_a recognisaunce_n or_o obligation_n without_o any_o fee_n or_o reward_n to_o be_v pay_v therefore_o of_o every_o person_n so_o by_o they_o to_o be_v name_v to_o be_v high_a collector_n to_o be_v bind_v to_o the_o king_n in_o the_o double_a somme_fw-fr of_o the_o some_o of_o his_o collection_n and_o to_o be_v endorse_v and_o make_v upon_o such_o condition_n that_o if_o thesay_v collectour_n his_o heir_n or_o executor_n do_v true_o content_v and_o pay_v to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o king_n his_o heir_n or_o executour_n in_o his_o receipt_n of_o his_o exchequer_n before_o the_o day_n appoint_a by_o this_o act_n so_o much_o of_o thesay_v some_o of_o money_n allot_v and_o appoint_a to_o his_o collection_n as_o he_o shall_v collect_v and_o gather_v and_o content_a and_o pay_v the_o residue_n of_o his_o collection_n and_o charge_n within_o one_o month_n next_o after_o such_o time_n as_o he_o have_v gather_v and_o collect_v the_o same_o residue_n that_o then_o thesaid_a recognisaunce_n or_o obligation_n to_o be_v void_a or_o else_o to_o stand_v in_o his_o full_a strength_n and_o virtue_n which_o recognisaunce_n or_o obligation_n so_o take_v thesaid_a commissioner_n shall_v certify_v &_o deliver_v into_o the_o king_n exchequer_n with_o the_o certificate_n of_o thesay_v taxation_n and_o rate_n of_o thesay_v relief_n at_o and_o by_o the_o time_n to_o they_o prescribe_v and_o appoint_a by_o this_o act_n upon_o pein_o of_o forfeiture_n of_o ten_o l._n to_o the_o king_n for_o every_o recognisaunce_n or_o obligation_n not_o certify_v and_o that_o every_o such_o collector_n so_o elect_v name_v and_o choose_v upon_o request_n to_o he_o make_v shall_v knowledge_n and_o make_v thesaid_a recognisaunce_n or_o obligation_n upon_o like_a pein_n and_o forfeiture_n of_o ten_o l._n to_o the_o king_n for_o the_o refusal_n thereof_o and_o every_o such_o collector_n so_o yearly_o depute_v have_v thesay_v estreate_v in_o patchement_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a â–ª_o shall_v have_v authority_n by_o this_o act_n yearly_o during_o thesay_v three_o year_n to_o appoint_v day_n and_o place_n within_o the_o circuit_n of_o his_o collection_n for_o the_o payment_n of_o thesay_v relief_n to_o he_o to_o be_v make_v and_o thereof_o to_o geve_v warning_n by_o proclamation_n or_o otherwise_o to_o all_o thesaid_a constable_n or_o other_o person_n or_o inhabitant_n have_v the_o charge_n of_o the_o particular_a collection_n within_o the_o hundredes_o parish_n town_n or_o other_o place_n by_o he_o or_o they_o limit_v to_o make_v payment_n for_o their_o say_v particular_a collection_n of_o every_o some_o as_o to_o they_o shall_v appertein_a and_o if_o at_o thesaid_a day_n &_o place_n so_o limit_v and_o prefix_v by_o thesaid_a collector_n thesay_v constable_n officer_n or_o other_o person_n or_o inhabitant_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a for_o thesaid_a particular_a collection_n appoint_a and_o assign_v within_o such_o hundred_o citee_n town_n or_o other_o place_n do_v not_o pay_v unto_o thesaid_a collector_n the_o some_o within_o their_o several_a hundredes_o town_n parish_n and_o other_o place_n due_a &_o comprise_v in_o thesaid_a estrcate_n thereof_o to_o they_o deliver_v by_o thesaid_a commissioner_n as_o be_v before_o say_v or_o so_o much_o thereof_o as_o they_o have_v by_o any_o mean_v receive_v two_o d._n of_o every_o pound_n for_o thesay_v particular_a collection_n as_o be_v beforesay_v always_o to_o be_v thereof_o allow_v except_v &_o abate_v that_o then_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o thesaid_a high_a collector_n and_o every_o of_o they_o and_o to_o their_o assign_n to_o distrain_v every_o of_o thesay_v constable_n officer_n and_o other_o inhabitant_n for_o their_o say_v several_a and_o particular_a collection_n of_o thesaid_a sum_n comprise_v in_o thesay_v estreate_v and_o writing_n thereof_o to_o they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o as_o be_v before_o express_v deliver_v or_o for_o asmuch_o of_o the_o same_o somme_fw-fr as_o so_o then_o shall_v happen_v to_o be_v gather_v and_o levy_v be_v behind_o and_o unpay_v by_o the_o good_n and_o cattalle_n of_o every_o of_o they_o so_o be_v behind_o and_o the_o distress_n so_o take_v to_o be_v keep_v appreise_v and_o sell_v as_o be_v be_v compel_v to_o be_v a_o assessor_n or_o collector_n of_o or_o for_o any_o part_n of_o thesaid_a relief_n in_o any_o place_n or_o place_n out_o of_o thesay_v citee_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a where_o he_o dwell_v and_o it_o be_v also_o by_o thesaid_a authority_n enact_v that_o if_o any_o inhabitaunt_a or_o officer_n or_o whatsoever_o person_n or_o person_n charge_v to_o and_o for_o the_o collection_n or_o receipt_n of_o any_o part_n or_o portion_n of_o thesaid_a relief_n in_o any_o of_o thesaid_a three_o year_n by_o any_o manner_n of_o mean_a accord_v to_o this_o act_n or_o any_o person_n or_o person_n for_o then selfe_o or_o as_o keeper_n deputy_n factor_n or_o attorney_n of_o and_o for_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n of_o any_o good_n and_o cattalle_n and_o the_o owner_n thereof_o at_o the_o time_n of_o thesaid_a assessing_n to_o
commissioner_n of_o that_o commission_n whereupon_o such_o writynge_n shall_v be_v there_o than_o to_o be_v certify_v with_o division_n of_o the_o hundredes_o wapentake_n ward_n tithynge_n or_o other_o place_n to_o and_o among_o such_o commissioner_n of_o thesame_a commission_n with_o the_o name_n of_o thesame_a commissioner_n where_o such_o separation_n &_o devision_n shall_v be_v with_o such_o other_o person_n as_o the_o say_a lord_n chancellor_n and_o other_o with_o he_o before_o name_v shall_v name_v and_o appoinct_v by_o the_o which_o commission_n the_o commissioner_n shall_v bring_v unto_o you_o to_o be_v view_v and_o praise_v as_o you_o shall_v in_o your_o conscience_n think_v thesame_a worth_n to_o be_v sell_v when_o they_o shall_v be_v wrought_v and_o thesame_n shall_v not_o suffer_v to_o be_v deliver_v out_o of_o your_o custody_n till_o you_o have_v make_v of_o the_o colour_n kind_n and_o price_n thereof_o a_o entry_n both_o in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o clothier_n and_o also_o of_o the_o aulnageour_n or_o his_o deputy_n &_o set_v to_o your_o hand_n or_o mark_n declare_v who_o be_v the_o owner_n of_o the_o cloth_n and_o the_o kind_n and_o price_n thereof_o so_o help_v you_o god_n and_o by_o this_o book_n and_o it_o be_v also_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o thaucthoritie_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o kind_n of_o clothes_n which_o from_o and_o after_o the_o feast_n and_o put_v to_o sale_n shall_v be_v seal_v with_o the_o king_n seal_n remain_v in_o the_o custody_n of_o the_o aulnageour_n or_o his_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n and_o praise_v by_o two_o of_o the_o say_a praiser_n at_o the_o least_o and_o enter_v into_o the_o book_n hereafter_o in_o this_o act_n mention_v upon_o pain_n of_o forfeiture_n of_o the_o same_o cloth_n the_o one_o half_a to_o the_o or_o his_o deputy_n wherein_o shall_v be_v write_v the_o colour_n kind_n and_o price_n of_o all_o and_o syngule_a clothes_n view_v and_o apprayse_v that_o year_n accord_v to_o the_o tenor_n of_o this_o statute_n unto_o which_o book_n the_o owner_n of_o every_o cloth_n or_o some_o other_o person_n for_o he_o and_o the_o praisour_n shall_v set_v to_o their_o hand_n or_o mark_n when_o the_o cloth_n be_v seal_v and_o the_o other_o book_n shall_v remain_v with_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o say_v clothe_v whereunto_o the_o say_v aulnageour_n and_o praysour_n shall_v set_v their_o hand_n and_o mark_n and_o that_o the_o owner_n of_o all_o and_o every_o cloth_n chargeable_a to_o the_o payment_n of_o the_o relief_n of_o clothes_n grant_v by_o this_o act_n yearly_o within_o xx_o day_n after_o the_o year_n expire_v shall_v deliver_v his_o say_a book_n so_o subscribe_v or_o mark_v with_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o aulnageour_n or_o his_o deputy_n and_o praysour_n to_o the_o commissiooner_n for_o the_o taxation_n and_o assessment_n of_o the_o say_a relief_n within_o the_o limit_v where_o such_o clothier_n dwell_v or_o to_o one_o of_o they_o upon_o pain_n of_o forfeiture_n by_o the_o same_o clothier_n of_o treble_a so_o much_o as_o he_o ought_v to_o pay_v to_o the_o king_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o aforesaid_a relief_n of_o his_o clothes_n so_o seal_v and_o it_o be_v further_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o every_o aulnageour_n shall_v yearly_o from_o &_o after_o the_o say_a feast_n of_o the_o natitutie_n of_o saint_n john_n baptist_n next_o come_n keep_v a_o parsite_a book_n of_o the_o colour_n kind_n and_o price_n of_o all_o and_o singular_a clothes_n by_o he_o seal_v and_o the_o name_n of_o the_o owner_n thereof_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o be_v before_o declare_v and_o thesame_a book_n yearly_o shall_v make_v and_o deliver_v to_o the_o commissioner_n for_o the_o taxation_n of_o good_n within_o the_o limit_n where_o such_o cloth_n maker_n dwell_v or_o to_o one_o of_o they_o within_o xx_o day_n next_o after_o the_o year_n expire_v and_o it_o be_v further_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o aulnageour_n or_o his_o deputy_n do_v not_o make_v and_o deliver_v thesayd_a book_n in_o manner_n and_o form_n before_o rehearse_v or_o do_v wilful_o conceal_v any_o cloth_n by_o he_o seal_v &_o do_v not_o entre_fw-fr it_n into_o the_o say_a book_n that_o for_o such_o offence_n the_o say_a aulnageour_n shall_v not_o only_o forfayte_v his_o office_n but_o also_o shall_v make_v fine_o at_o the_o king_n will_n and_o it_o be_v also_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o thaucthoritie_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_v commissioner_n of_o that_o limit_v have_v receive_v the_o say_a book_n of_o the_o aulnageour_n or_o his_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n and_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o clothes_n shall_v confer_v the_o rate_n of_o the_o relief_n of_o the_o clothes_n ▪_o comprehend_v in_o the_o say_a book_n with_o the_o taxation_n and_o payment_n of_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o same_o clothes_n for_o his_o good_n so_o that_o if_o it_o shall_v appear_v thereby_o to_o they_o that_o the_o owner_n of_o any_o cloth_n be_v chargeable_a to_o pay_v for_o his_o clothes_n which_o before_o be_v not_o chargeable_a for_o his_o good_n or_o that_o such_o owner_n ought_v to_o pay_v more_o after_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o relief_n of_o his_o clothes_n contain_v in_o the_o book_n deliver_v to_o they_o than_o he_o be_v before_o charge_v for_o the_o value_n of_o his_o substance_n of_o his_o good_n the_o say_a commissioner_n as_o they_o be_v divide_v shall_v within_o one_o month_n next_o after_o the_o say_v book_n receive_v by_o their_o writing_n indent_v to_o be_v sign_v and_o seal_v by_o they_o make_v forth_o extreate_v of_o all_o &_o singular_a sum_n of_o money_n that_o any_o person_n ought_v to_o pay_v for_o his_o clothes_n not_o be_v before_o charge_v with_o his_o good_n &_o for_o the_o overplus_n that_o any_o such_o person_n ought_v to_o pay_v for_o that_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o clothes_n do_v surmount_v the_o payment_n of_o the_o value_n of_o his_o good_n before_o make_v and_o the_o same_o writing_n shall_v deliver_v to_o the_o high_a collectour_n of_o thesame_n limit_v to_o charge_v he_o with_o the_o receipt_n hereof_o of_o the_o maker_n of_o the_o say_a clothes_n and_o the_o payment_n thereof_o at_o the_o king_n receipt_n and_o that_o the_o say_v high_a collectour_n shall_v have_v the_o like_a power_n &_o authority_n to_o gather_v &_o levy_v thesame_a by_o such_o like_a way_n and_o mean_n as_o before_o in_o this_o act_n be_v limit_v and_o appoint_v to_o the_o subcollectour_n for_o the_o levi_a and_o gather_v of_o the_o relief_n of_o good_n and_o it_o be_v further_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_v commissioner_n shall_v yearly_o during_o the_o say_v three_o year_n make_v return_v and_o certificate_n into_o the_o king_n exchequier_v before_o the_o ten_o day_n of_o october_n not_o only_o of_o the_o counterpane_n of_o all_o and_o every_o extreate_v deliver_v by_o he_o to_o the_o high_a collectour_n but_o also_o of_o the_o book_n receive_v of_o the_o aulnageour_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a and_o the_o praisour_n name_n and_o of_o all_o and_o singular_a their_o procedynge_n concerue_v the_o say_a payment_n
