singular_a the_o physician_n of_o the_o say_a city_n exercise_v the_o faculty_n of_o physic_n within_o the_o say_a city_n and_o so_o of_o other_o physician_n foreign_a whosoever_o the_o say_a faculty_n of_o physic_n any_o wise_a frequent_v and_o use_v within_o the_o say_a city_n and_o the_o suburb_n thereof_o or_o within_o 7_o mile_n in_o circuit_n of_o the_o say_a city_n and_o the_o punishment_n of_o they_o for_o their_o offence_n in_o not_o well_o exercise_v do_v and_o use_v the_o same_o as_o also_o the_o oversight_n and_o search_v of_o all_o medicine_n and_o the_o reception_n of_o they_o by_o the_o say_a physician_n or_o any_o of_o they_o to_o the_o liege_n people_n of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n for_o cure_v and_o heal_v their_o infirmity_n to_o be_v give_v put_v and_o use_v as_o often_o and_o when_o need_n shall_v be_v for_o the_o commodity_n and_o profit_n of_o the_o say_a liege_n people_n of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n so_o as_o the_o punishment_n of_o the_o say_a physician_n use_v the_o say_a faculty_n of_o physic_n in_o the_o premise_n offend_v by_o fine_n amercement_n and_o imprisonment_n of_o their_o body_n and_o by_o other_o way_n reasonable_a and_o fit_a be_v execute_v he_o also_o will_v and_o grant_v for_o he_o and_o his_o heir_n and_o successor_n as_o much_o as_o in_o he_o be_v that_o neither_o the_o precedent_n nor_o any_o of_o the_o college_n aforesaid_a of_o physicinas_n nor_o their_o successor_n nor_o any_o of_o they_o exercise_v the_o same_o faculty_n any_o way_n in_o future_a within_o the_o city_n aforesaid_a and_o the_o suburb_n thereof_o or_o elce-where_a shall_v be_v summon_v or_o put_v nor_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v summon_v or_o put_v in_o any_o assize_n jury_n inquisition_n attachment_n and_o other_o recognition_n within_o the_o say_a city_n &_o the_o suburb_n thereof_o for_o ever_o before_o the_o mayor_n or_o sheriff_n or_o coroner_n of_o the_o say_a city_n or_o by_o any_o officer_n or_o minister_n or_o officer_n or_o minister_n although_o the_o say_a jury_n inquisition_n or_o recognition_n be_v summon_v upon_o the_o writ_n or_o writ_n of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n or_o his_o heir_n of_o record_n but_o that_o the_o say_v master_n or_o governor_n and_o commonalty_n of_o the_o faculty_n aforesaid_a and_o their_o successor_n and_o every_o of_o they_o the_o say_a faculty_n exercise_v against_o the_o say_a late_a king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n and_o against_o the_o mayor_n and_o sheriff_n of_o the_o say_a city_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o time_n be_v and_o whatsoever_o their_o officer_n or_o minister_n shall_v be_v thereof_o acquit_v and_o discharge_v for_o ever_o as_o by_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n among_o other_o thing_n more_o full_o appear_v and_o the_o say_v henry_n george_n thomas_n moundford_n john_n argent_fw-fr john_n taylor_n and_o william_n further_o say_v that_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o letter_n patent_n aforesaid_a the_o aforesaid_a john_n chambre_n thomas_n linacre_n ferdinand_n de_fw-fr victoria_n nicholas_n hatswell_n john_n francisc●s_n and_o robert_n yaxley_n physician_n and_o all_o man_n of_o the_o say_a faculty_n in_o the_o city_n aforesaid_a be_v one_o body_n and_o commonalty_n perpetual_a or_o college_n perpetual_a and_o that_o afterward_o by_o a_o certain_a act_n of_o parliament_n of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n henry_n the_o 8_o hold_v at_o london_n the_o 15_o day_n of_o april_n in_o the_o year_n of_o his_o reign_n the_o 14_o and_o from_o thence_o adjourn_v unto_o westminster_n in_o the_o county_n of_o middlesex_n the_o last_o day_n of_o july_n in_o the_o year_n of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n the_o 15_o and_o then_o there_o hold_v among_o other_o thing_n it_o be_v enact_v by_o authority_n of_o the_o same_o parliament_n that_o for_o that_o that_o the_o make_n of_o the_o say_a corporation_n of_o physician_n be_v meritorious_a and_o very_o good_a for_o the_o commonwealth_n of_o this_o kingdom_n of_o england_n and_o beside_o it_o be_v expedient_a and_o necessary_a to_o provide_v that_o no_o person_n of_o the_o say_a body_n politic_a and_o commonalty_n aforesaid_a shall_v be_v suffer_v to_o exercise_v and_o to_o practice_v physic_n but_o only_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v be_v profound_a sad_a and_o discreet_a ground_o learn_v and_o deep_o study_v in_o physic_n in_o consideration_n whereof_o and_o for_o the_o further_o authorise_v of_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n and_o also_o for_o the_o enlarge_n and_o amplify_a of_o further_a article_n for_o the_o aforesaid_a commonwealth_n to_o be_v have_v and_o make_v by_o the_o say_v late_a king_n with_o the_o consent_n of_o the_o lord_n spiritual_a and_o temporal_a and_o commonalty_n in_o the_o say_a parliament_n assemble_v it_o be_v enact_v among_o other_o thing_n that_o the_o aforesaid_a corporation_n of_o the_o commonalty_n and_o fellowship_n of_o the_o faculty_n of_o the_o art_n of_o physic_n aforesaid_a and_o all_o and_o every_o grant_v article_n and_o other_o thing_n contain_v and_o specify_v in_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n shall_v be_v approve_v grant_v ratify_v and_o confirm_v in_o the_o aforesaid_a act_n and_o shall_v clear_o be_v authorize_v and_o admit_v by_o the_o same_o good_a lawful_a and_o available_a to_o the_o aforesaid_a body_n corporate_a and_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o in_o as_o ample_a and_o large_a manner_n as_o it_o may_v be_v take_v think_v and_o construe_v by_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n and_o further_o it_o be_v enact_v ordain_v and_o establish_v by_o the_o say_a act_n that_o the_o aforesaid_a 8._o person_n in_o the_o aforesaid_a letter_n patent_n name_v as_o principal_n and_o first_o name_v of_o the_o aforesaid_a cominalty_n and_o fellowship_n shall_v choose_v to_o they_o two_o other_o of_o the_o say_a commonalty_n who_o from_o thenceforth_o shall_v be_v call_v and_o name_v elect_v and_o the_o aforesaid_a elect_v yearly_a shall_v choose_v one_o of_o they_o to_o be_v precedent_n of_o the_o say_a commonalty_n and_o as_o often_o as_o any_o of_o the_o room_n and_o place_n of_o the_o say_v elect_v shall_v happen_v to_o be_v void_a by_o death_n or_o otherwise_o than_o the_o supervisor_n of_o the_o say_v elect_v within_o 30._o or_o 40._o day_n next_o after_o their_o death_n or_o of_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v choose_v name_n and_o admit_v one_o or_o more_o as_o need_n shall_v requite_v of_o the_o most_o learned_a and_o expert_a man_n of_o and_o in_o the_o aforesaid_a faculty_n in_o london_n to_o supply_v the_o place_n and_o number_n of_o 8._o person_n
