baptist_n common_o call_v midsummer_n day_n in_o every_o city_n borough_n and_o town_n corporate_a the_o mayor_n bailiff_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n for_o the_o time_n be_v &_o in_o every_o in_o the_o say_v register_v or_o book_n and_o the_o say_a gatherer_n so_o be_v elect_v and_o choose_v shall_v just_o gather_v and_o true_o distribute_v the_o same_o charitable_a alm_n weke_o by_o themselves_o or_o their_o assign_n to_o the_o say_v poor_a &_o impotent_a person_n of_o the_o say_a city_n boroughe_n town_n corporate_a and_o parysh_n without_o fraud_n or_o covin_z favour_n or_o affection_n and_o after_o such_o sort_n that_o the_o more_o impotent_a may_v have_v the_o more_o help_n and_o such_o as_o can_v get_v part_n of_o their_o lyve_n to_o have_v the_o less_o and_o by_o then_o and_o there_o present_a to_o prepare_v themselves_o on_o the_o sunday_n next_o after_o midsummer_n day_n than_o next_o follow_v to_o come_v to_o the_o church_n and_o there_o to_o elect_v and_o churchwarden_n of_o the_o say_v paryshe_v to_o sue_v and_o distrayne_v for_o the_o same_o in_o such_o form_n as_o before_o be_v appoint_v for_o the_o other_o forfeiture_n and_o further_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o thaucthoritie_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_v gatherer_n or_o collector_n for_o the_o poor_a so_o to_o be_v choose_v as_o be_v aforesaid_a shall_v make_v their_o just_a account_n quarterly_a to_o the_o major_n or_o chief_a officer_n of_o the_o say_a city_n boroughe_n and_o town_n corporate_a and_o in_o every_o parish_n of_o the_o say_a country_n to_o the_o parson_n vicar_n or_o curate_n and_o churchwarden_n of_o the_o paryshe_v at_o which_o account_n such_o of_o the_o paryshe_v as_o will_n may_v be_v present_a and_o when_o they_o go_v out_o of_o their_o office_n they_o shall_v delyver_v or_o cause_v to_o be_v delyver_v forthwith_o upon_o the_o end_n of_o their_o account_n all_o such_o surplusage_n of_o money_n as_o then_o shall_v remain_v of_o their_o collection_n undistribute_v to_o be_v put_v in_o their_o common_a chest_n of_o the_o church_n or_o in_o some_o other_o safe_a place_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o poor_a at_o the_o oversyght_n and_o discression_n after_o request_n make_v to_o they_o for_o the_o same_o than_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o the_o ordinary_a of_o the_o place_n chauncelour_n or_o their_o commissary_n together_o with_o of_o the_o parish_n to_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o ordinary_a of_o the_o place_n chauncelour_n or_o their_o commissary_n or_o guardian_n of_o the_o spiritualty_n the_o same_o bishop_n ordinary_a chauncelour_n or_o commissary_n or_o guardian_n of_o the_o spiritualty_n shall_v send_v for_o he_o or_o they_o to_o induce_v or_o persuade_v he_o or_o they_o by_o charitable_a mean_n &_o ordinary_a of_o the_o diocese_n chauncelour_n or_o their_o commissary_n shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n to_o bind_v the_o say_v obstinate_a and_o wylfull_a person_n so_o refuse_v unto_o the_o queen_n by_o recognisaunce_n in_o the_o sum_n of_o ten_o pound_n with_o condition_n thereupon_o to_o be_v endorse_v that_o the_o say_v obstinate_a person_n so_o refuse_v shall_v personal_o appear_v before_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n of_o the_o county_n where_o the_o same_o person_n shall_v then_o inhabit_v and_o dwell_v if_o it_o be_v out_o of_o any_o city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a and_o if_o it_o be_v within_o any_o city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a then_o before_o the_o major_n baylyffe_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n the_o say_v obstinate_a person_n shall_v pay_v weke_o towards_o the_o relief_n of_o the_o poor_a within_o the_o say_v paryshe_v where_o he_o or_o she_o shall_v inhabit_v and_o dwell_v and_o if_o the_o say_a person_n so_o sess_v and_o tax_v shall_v refuse_v to_o pay_v the_o sum_n that_o shall_v be_v so_o reasonablye_o limit_v tax_v and_o appoint_v then_o the_o say_a justice_n of_o peace_n or_o two_o shall_v fortune_n to_o be_v and_o for_o the_o better_a maintenance_n of_o this_o charitable_a act_n and_o work_n it_o be_v ordain_v and_o establish_v by_o thaucthoritie_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o as_o the_o late_a king_n of_o famous_a memory_n king_n henry_n the_o viij_o his_o heir_n or_o successor_n or_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n by_o his_o or_o their_o several_a &_o lawful_a erection_n and_o foundation_n have_v or_o have_v ordain_v &_o appoint_v any_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o poor_a or_o for_o the_o repair_a or_o amend_v of_o high_a way_n or_o bridge_n not_o be_v take_v away_o otherwise_o by_o act_n of_o parliament_n whether_o the_o same_o be_v in_o any_o cathedral_n church_n college_n or_o else_o where_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o chauncelour_n for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n examine_v how_o and_o after_o what_o manner_n the_o say_a money_n be_v bestow_v &_o to_o call_v to_o account_v the_o party_n which_o retain_v the_o say_a money_n and_o thereupon_o to_o take_v such_o order_n as_o the_o same_o from_o thenceforth_o be_v distribute_v to_o the_o poor_a accord_v to_o the_o good_a intent_n and_o purpose_n of_o the_o say_v noble_a king_n that_o grant_v the_o same_o and_o if_o they_o shall_v fail_v yearly_o to_o call_v to_o account_v the_o person_n aforesaid_a in_o form_n aforesaid_a and_o after_o account_n to_o order_v the_o distribution_n of_o the_o say_a money_n in_o manner_n before_o declare_v to_o forfeit_v for_o every_o such_o default_n xx.li_fw-la to_o be_v then_o in_o every_o such_o paryshe_v not_o stand_v in_o any_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a the_o parson_n vicar_n or_o curate_n of_o the_o say_v paryshe_v and_o two_o or_o three_o of_o the_o chief_a time_n for_o inspection_n of_o the_o say_v poor_a and_o examination_n of_o the_o say_a certificatour_n within_o one_o month_n next_o ensue_v the_o day_n of_o receipt_n of_o the_o say_a certificate_n or_o shall_v grant_v or_o geve_v licence_n to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n so_o certify_v to_o go_v abroad_o and_o beg_v before_o such_o time_n as_o they_o shall_v have_v view_v and_o see_v the_o say_a poor_a person_n &_o have_v receive_v oath_n of_o the_o person_n that_o so_o certify_v that_o the_o say_v poor_a person_n for_o age_n impotency_n or_o sickness_n in_o their_o conscience_n &_o to_o their_o knowledge_n be_v not_o able_a by_o any_o work_n or_o labour_n to_o earn_v they_o necessary_a meat_n drink_n and_o cloth_n and_o the_o same_o deposition_n put_v in_o write_v subscribe_v or_o mark_v by_o the_o person_n depose_v to_o forfeit_v for_o every_o such_o default_n ten_o pound_n to_o be_v employ_v to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o poor_a of_o any_o paryshe_v or_o paryshes_fw-mi require_v any_o such_o person_n so_o to_o serve_v within_o the_o same_o shire_n where_o he_o shall_v be_v so_o require_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a the_o county_n wherein_o the_o say_a refusal_n be_v or_o shall_v be_v make_v or_o of_o such_o householder_n inhabitinge_v in_o any_o city_n town_n corporate_a or_o market_n town_n to_o the_o mayor_n bailiff_n or_o head_n officer_n of_o the_o say_a city_n town_n corporat_fw-la or_o market_n town_n if_o any_o such_o refusal_n shall_v there_o be_v they_o shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o the_o say_a justice_n or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o head_n officer_n shall_v have_v power_n and_o auctoritye_n by_o virtue_n hereof_o if_o the_o say_a person_n refuse_v to_o be_v bind_v as_o a_o apprentice_n to_o commit_v he_o unto_o ward_n there_o to_o remain_v untyll_o he_o be_v content_v and_o will_v be_v bind_v to_o serve_v as_o a_o apprentice_n shall_v serve_v accord_v to_o the_o true_a intent_n and_o mean_v of_o this_o present_a act_n and_o if_o any_o such_o master_n shall_v mysuse_v or_o evil_n entreat_v his_o apprentice_n or_o that_o the_o say_a apprentice_n shall_v have_v any_o just_a cause_n to_o complain_v or_o the_o apprentice_n do_v not_o his_o duty_n to_o his_o master_n then_o the_o say_a master_n or_o apprentice_n be_v greve_v and_o have_v cause_n to_o complain_v shall_v repair_v unto_o one_o justice_n of_o peace_n within_o the_o say_a county_n or_o to_o the_o mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n of_o the_o city_n town_n corporate_a market_n town_n or_o other_o place_n where_o the_o say_a master_n dwell_v who_o shall_v by_o his_o wysdome_n and_o discretion_n take_v such_o order_n and_o direction_n between_o the_o say_a master_n and_o his_o apprentice_n as_o the_o equity_n of_o the_o cause_n shall_v require_v and_o if_o for_o want_n of_o good_a conformity_n in_o the_o say_a master_n the_o say_a justice_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o head_n officer_n can_v not_o compound_v &_o agree_v the_o matter_n between_o he_o and_o his_o apprentice_n then_o the_o say_a justice_n or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n shall_v take_v band_n of_o the_o say_a master_n to_o appear_v at_o the_o next_o session_n then_o to_o be_v hold_v in_o the_o say_a county_n or_o within_o the_o say_a city_n town_n corporat_fw-la or_o market_n town_n to_o be_v before_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o say_a county_n or_o the_o mayor_n or_o head_n officer_n of_o the_o say_a town_n corporate_a or_o market_n town_n if_o the_o say_a master_n dwell_v within_o any_o such_o and_o upon_o his_o apparaunce_n &_o hear_v of_o the_o matter_n before_o the_o say_a justice_n or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n if_o it_o be_v think_v meet_a unto_o they_o to_o discharge_v the_o say_a apprentice_n of_o his_o apprenticehod_n that_o then_o the_o say_a justice_n or_o four_o of_o they_o at_o the_o least_o whereof_o one_o to_o be_v of_o they_o quorum_fw-la or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n with_o the_o consent_n of_o three_o other_o of_o his_o brethren_n or_o man_n of_o best_a reputation_n within_o the_o say_a city_n town_n corporate_a or_o market_n town_n shall_v have_v power_n by_o authority_n hereof_o in_o write_v under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n to_o pronounce_v and_o declare_v that_o they_o have_v discharge_v the_o
say_a apprentice_n of_o his_o apprenticehode_n and_o they_o cause_v thereof_o and_o the_o say_a writing_n so_o be_v make_v and_o enrol_v by_o the_o clerk_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o town_n clerk_n among_o the_o record_n that_o he_o keep_v shall_v be_v a_o sufficient_a discharge_n for_o the_o say_a apprentice_n against_o his_o master_n his_o executour_n and_o administratour_n the_o indenture_n of_o the_o say_a apprenticehode_n or_o any_o law_n or_o custom_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o and_o if_o the_o default_n shall_v be_v find_v to_o be_v in_o the_o apprentice_n than_o the_o say_a justice_n or_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n with_o the_o assistentes_fw-la aforesaid_a shall_v cause_v such_o due_a correction_n &_o punishment_n to_o be_v minister_v unto_o he_o as_o by_o their_o wysdome_n and_o discretion_n shall_v be_v think_v mete_v provyde_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parlyament_n that_o no_o person_n shall_v by_o force_n or_o colour_n of_o this_o estatute_n be_v bind_v to_o enter_v into_o any_o apprenticeship_n other_o than_o such_o as_o be_v under_o the_o age_n of_o xxi_o year_n and_o to_o the_o enact_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n of_o every_o county_n devide_v themselves_o into_o several_a lymitte_v and_o likewise_o every_o mayor_n and_o head_n officer_n of_o any_o city_n or_o town_n corporat_fw-la shall_v yearly_o between_o the_o feast_n of_o saint_n michael_n the_o archangel_n &_o the_o nativity_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o between_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o annunciation_n of_o our_o lady_n and_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o saint_n john_n the_o baptist_n by_o all_o such_o way_n &_o mean_n as_o to_o their_o wysdomes_n shall_v be_v think_v most_o meet_a make_v a_o special_a and_o diligent_a inquiry_n of_o the_o branch_n and_o article_n of_o this_o estatute_n and_o of_o the_o good_a execution_n of_o the_o same_o and_o where_o they_o shall_v find_v any_o defaulte_n to_o see_v the_o same_o severe_o correct_v and_o punish_v without_o favour_n affection_n malice_n or_o displeasure_n and_o in_o consideration_n of_o the_o pain_n and_o travel_n that_o the_o say_v justice_n of_o peace_n and_o the_o say_a mayor_n and_o head_n officer_n shall_v take_v and_o sustain_v in_o and_o about_o the_o for_o every_o day_n that_o he_o shall_v sit_v in_o &_o about_o the_o execution_n of_o this_o estatute_n shall_v have_v allow_v unto_o he_o fyve_o shyllinge_n to_o be_v allow_v and_o pay_v unto_o he_o or_o unto_o the_o say_a mayor_n or_o head_n officer_n of_o the_o fyne_n and_o forfeitour_n of_o the_o pain_n and_o penalty_n that_o shall_v be_v forfeit_v and_o due_a unto_o the_o queen_n majesty_n her_o heir_n or_o successor_n by_o force_n of_o this_o estatute_n in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o say_a justice_n have_v be_v heretofore_o common_o pay_v for_o their_o come_n &_o charge_n other_o than_o such_o as_o be_v express_o otherwise_o appoint_v shall_v be_v to_o our_o sovereign_a lady_n the_o queen_n majesty_n her_o heir_n and_o successor_n and_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o he_o or_o they_o that_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o of_o the_o queen_n majesty_n court_n of_o record_n or_o before_o any_o of_o the_o justice_n of_o oyer_n &_o terminer_n or_o before_o any_o other_o justice_n or_o precedent_n and_o counsel_n before_o remember_v by_o action_n of_o debt_n information_n bill_n of_o complaint_n or_o otherwise_o in_o which_o action_n or_o suit_n no_o indictment_n to_o be_v take_v before_o they_o in_o the_o session_n of_o the_o peace_n as_o upon_o information_n action_n of_o debt_n or_o bill_n of_o complaint_n to_o be_v sue_v or_o exhibit_v by_o any_o person_n and_o shall_v and_o may_v by_o virtue_n hereof_o make_v process_n against_o the_o defendant_n and_o award_v execution_n as_o in_o any_o other_o case_n they_o lawful_o may_v by_o any_o the_o law_n and_o statute_n of_o this_o realm_n and_o shall_v yearly_o in_o michaelmas_n term_n certify_v by_o estreate_v the_o fyne_n and_o forfeitour_n of_o every_o the_o offence_n contain_v in_o this_o estatute_n that_o shall_v be_v find_v before_o they_o into_o the_o court_n of_o the_o exchequer_n in_o like_a sort_n and_o form_n as_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o certify_v the_o estreate_n for_o other_o offence_n and_o forfeitour_n to_o be_v lose_v before_o they_o any_o thing_n in_o this_o statute_n contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v or_o mention_v shall_v not_o be_v prejudicial_a or_o hurtful_a to_o the_o city_n of_o london_n and_o norwych_n or_o to_o the_o lawful_a liberty_n usage_n custom_n or_o privilege_n of_o the_o same_o city_n for_o or_o concern_v the_o have_a or_o take_v of_o any_o apprentice_n or_o apprentice_n but_o that_o the_o citezin_n and_o freeman_n of_o the_o same_o city_n shall_v and_o may_v take_v have_v and_o retain_v apprentice_n there_o in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o they_o may_v lawful_o have_v do_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o statute_n this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o also_o further_o enact_v that_o all_o indenture_n covenaunte_n promise_n and_o bargain_n of_o or_o for_o the_o have_v take_v or_o keep_a of_o any_o apprentice_n otherwise_o hereafter_o to_o be_v make_v or_o take_v then_o be_v by_o this_o statute_n lymit_v ordain_v and_o appoint_v shall_v be_v clere_o void_a in_o the_o law_n to_o all_o intentes_fw-la and_o purpose_n and_o that_o every_o person_n that_o shall_v from_o henceforth_o take_v or_o new_o retain_v any_o apprentice_n contrary_a to_o the_o tenor_n and_o true_a mean_v of_o this_o act_n shall_v forfeit_v and_o lose_v for_o every_o apprentice_n so_o by_o he_o take_v the_o sum_n of_o ten_o li._n and_o because_o there_o have_v be_v and_o be_v some_o question_n and_o scruple_n move_v whether_o any_o person_n be_v within_o the_o age_n of_o xxi_o year_n and_o bind_v to_o serve_v as_o a_o apprentice_n in_o any_o other_o place_n then_o in_o the_o say_a city_n of_o london_n shall_v be_v bind_v accept_v &_o take_v as_o a_o apprentice_n for_o the_o resolution_n of_o the_o say_a scruple_n and_o doubt_n be_v it_o enact_v by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parlyament_n that_o all_o and_o every_o such_o person_n or_o person_n that_o at_o any_o time_n or_o time_n from_o henceforth_o shall_v be_v bind_v by_o indenture_n to_o serve_v as_o a_o apprentice_n in_o any_o art_n science_n occupation_n or_o labour_n accord_v to_o the_o tenor_n of_o this_o estatute_n and_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n aforesaid_a albeit_o the_o same_o apprentice_n or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v within_o the_o age_n of_o xxi_o year_n at_o the_o time_n of_o make_v of_o their_o several_a indenture_n shall_v be_v bind_v to_o serve_v for_o the_o year_n in_o their_o several_a indenture_n contain_v as_o ample_o and_o large_o to_o every_o intent_n as_o if_o the_o same_o apprentice_n be_v of_o full_a age_n at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o make_n of_o such_o indenture_n any_o law_n usage_n or_o custom_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o inhabitant_n now_o dwell_v or_o inhabit_v or_o that_o hereafter_o shall_v dwell_v or_o inhabit_v within_o the_o town_n of_o godalm_v within_o the_o county_n of_o surray_n
within_o the_o lymitte_v of_o the_o watch_n of_o the_o say_a town_n may_v use_v and_o exercise_v such_o art_n mystery_n and_o occupation_n and_o take_v and_o use_v apprentice_n and_o servant_n in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o inhabitant_n within_o market_n town_n by_o this_o statute_n may_v lawful_o do_v provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o manner_n amerciament_n fyne_n issue_n and_o forfeiture_n which_o shall_v rise_v grow_v or_o come_v by_o reason_n of_o any_o offence_n or_o defaulte_n mention_v in_o this_o act_n or_o any_o branch_n thereof_o within_o any_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a shall_v be_v levy_v gather_v and_o receive_v by_o such_o person_n or_o person_n of_o the_o same_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a as_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o the_o mayor_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n mention_v in_o this_o say_a act_n to_o the_o use_n and_o maintenance_n of_o the_o same_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a in_o such_o case_n and_o condition_n as_o any_o manner_n other_o amerciament_n fyne_n issue_n or_o forfeiture_n have_v be_v use_v to_o be_v levy_v and_o employ_v within_o the_o same_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a by_o reason_n of_o any_o grant_n or_o charter_n from_o the_o queen_n majesty_n that_o now_o be_v or_o of_o any_o her_o grace_n noble_a progenitour_n make_v and_o grant_v to_o the_o same_o city_n borowe_n or_o town_n corporate_a any_o thing_n or_o clause_n before_o mention_v and_o express_v in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o extend_v to_o any_o lawful_a reteyninge_n or_o covenaunte_n have_v or_o make_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o act_n but_o that_o all_o and_o every_o the_o party_n to_o such_o reteyninge_n or_o covenaunte_n shall_v and_o may_v have_v the_o same_o and_o like_a avantage_n of_o such_o reteyninge_n &_o covenaunte_n and_o of_o the_o statute_n heretofore_o in_o that_o behalf_n provide_v as_o if_o this_o act_n have_v never_o be_v have_v nor_o make_v any_o clause_n of_o repeal_n or_o other_o matter_n whatsoever_o in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o servant_n or_o apprentice_n of_o husbandry_n or_o of_o any_o art_n science_n or_o occupation_n aforesaid_a unlawfullye_o depart_v or_o flee_v into_o any_o other_o shire_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o the_o say_a justice_n of_o peace_n and_o to_o the_o say_a major_n bailiff_n and_o other_o head_n officer_n of_o city_n and_o town_n corporate_a for_o the_o time_n be_v justice_n of_o peace_n there_o to_o make_v and_o grant_n write_v of_o capias_fw-la so_o many_o and_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v nedeful_a to_o be_v direct_v to_o the_o sheriff_n of_o the_o county_n or_o to_o other_o head_n officer_n of_o the_o place_n whither_o such_o servant_n or_o apprentice_n shall_v so_o depart_v or_o flee_v to_o take_v their_o body_n returnable_a before_o they_o at_o what_o time_n shall_v please_v they_o so_o that_o if_o they_o come_v by_o such_o process_n that_o they_o be_v put_v in_o prison_n till_o they_o shall_v find_v sufficient_a surety_n well_o and_o honest_o to_o serve_v their_o master_n maistress_n or_o dame_n from_o who_o they_o so_o depart_v or_o flee_v accord_v to_o the_o order_n of_o the_o law_n provide_v always_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o the_o high_a constable_n of_o hundredes_o in_o every_o shire_n all_o and_o every_o person_n and_o person_n which_o shall_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n transport_v or_o carry_v any_o hearringe_n or_o other_o sea_n fish_n from_o or_o out_o of_o any_o port_n or_o harbour_n of_o this_o realm_n to_o any_o place_n out_o of_o the_o dominion_n of_o the_o queen_n majesty_n her_o heir_n or_o successor_n shall_v be_v free_a from_o payment_n of_o any_o custom_n person_n as_o shall_v be_v so_o appoint_v searcher_n or_o sealer_n as_n be_v aforesaid_a shall_v after_o the_o true_a tan_v and_o before_o the_o curry_n of_o any_o leather_n bring_v to_o be_v search_v and_o seal_v as_o be_v aforesaid_a by_o their_o discretion_n cut_v of_o so_o much_o of_o the_o hyde_n true_o tan_v to_o be_v sell_v to_o a_o shoemaker_n cordwayner_n or_o cobbler_n into_o womb_n as_o they_o shall_v by_o their_o oath_n think_v unmeete_a to_o make_v utter_a sole_a leather_n of_o upon_o pain_n that_o the_o shoemaker_n cordwayner_n or_o cobbler_n shall_v forfeit_v for_o every_o such_o next_o come_n sell_v exchange_n or_o put_v away_o or_o cause_n to_o be_v sell_v exchange_v or_o put_v away_o any_o manner_n of_o tan_a leather_n red_a and_o unwrought_a except_o he_o or_o they_o register_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v register_v the_o say_a tan_a leather_n and_o every_o part_n and_o parcel_n thereof_o and_o the_o price_n thereof_o upon_o pain_n of_o forfeiture_n of_o the_o value_n come_v of_o the_o sale_n of_o the_o say_a distress_n if_o any_o be_v to_o be_v restore_v and_o delyver_v unto_o the_o owner_n in_o form_n above_o remember_v provide_v always_o that_o no_o parson_n inhabit_v in_o any_o city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a shall_v be_v compel_v to_o be_v any_o assessour_n or_o collectour_n of_o or_o for_o any_o part_n of_o the_o say_a subsedye_n in_o any_o place_n or_o place_n out_o of_o the_o say_a city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a where_o he_o dwell_v and_o it_o be_v also_o by_o the_o say_a authority_n enact_v that_o if_o any_o inhabitaunt_a
