thy_o mind_n thy_o pleasant_a country_n the_o riches_n of_o the_o world_n thy_o kinsfolk_n the_o delicate_a pleasure_n and_o honour_n of_o this_o life_n do_v thou_o forget_v the_o solace_n of_o thy_o science_n and_o fruit_n of_o all_o thy_o labour_n will_v thou_o thus_o loose_a all_o thy_o labour_n which_o thou_o have_v hitherto_o sustain_v so_o many_o night_n watch_v thy_o painful_a travail_n and_o all_o thy_o laudable_a enterprise_n wherein_o thou_o have_v be_v exercise_v continual_o even_o from_o thy_o childhood_n final_o fear_v thou_o not_o death_n which_o hang_v over_o thou_o and_o that_o for_o no_o crime_n commit_v o_o what_o a_o fool_n be_v thou_o which_o for_o one_o word_n speak_v may_v salve_v all_o this_o and_o will_v not_o what_o a_o rude_a &_o unmannerly_a thing_n be_v this_o not_o to_o be_v entreat_v at_o the_o instant_a petition_n and_o desire_n of_o such_o so_o many_o and_o so_o mighty_a so_o just_a so_o virtuous_a so_o prudent_a and_o gracious_a senatoure_n and_o such_o noble_a personage_n etc._n etc._n but_o now_o to_o answer_v let_v this_o blind_a world_n harken_v to_o this_o again_o what_o heat_n can_v there_o be_v more_o burn_a than_o that_o fire_n which_o be_v prepare_v for_o thou_o hereafter_o and_o likewise_o what_o snow_n can_v be_v more_o cold_a than_o thy_o hart_n which_o be_v in_o darckenes_n and_o have_v no_o light_n what_o thing_n be_v more_o hard_a and_o sharp_a or_o crooked_a than_o this_o present_a life_n which_o hear_v we_o lead_v what_o thing_n more_o odious_a and_o hateful_a than_o this_o world_n here_o present_a and_o let_v these_o worldly_a man_n here_o answer_v i_o what_o country_n can_v we_o have_v more_o sweet_a than_o the_o heavenly_a country_n above_o what_o treasure_n more_o scotfree_a or_o precious_a then_o everlasting_a life_n and_o who_o be_v our_o kinsman_n but_o they_o which_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n where_o be_v great_a riches_n or_o dignity_n more_o honourable_a then_o in_o heaven_n and_o as_o touch_v the_o science_n let_v this_o foolish_a world_n consider_v be_v they_o not_o ordain_v to_o learn_v to_o know_v god_n who_o unless_o we_o do_v know_v all_o our_o labour_n our_o night_n watching_n our_o study_n and_o all_o our_o enterprise_n serve_v to_o no_o use_n or_o purpose_n all_o be_v but_o labour_v lose_v furthermore_o let_v the_o miserable_a worldly_a man_n answer_v i_o what_o remedy_n or_o safe_a refuge_n can_v there_o be_v unto_o he_o if_o he_o lack_v god_n who_o be_v the_o life_n and_o medicine_n of_o all_o man_n and_o how_o can_v he_o be_v say_v to_o fly_v from_o death_n when_o he_o himself_o be_v already_o dead_a in_o sin_n if_o christ_n be_v the_o way_n verity_n and_o life_n how_o can_v there_o be_v any_o life_n then_o without_o christ_n the_o sooly_a heat_n of_o the_o prison_n to_o i_o be_v coldness_n the_o cold_a winter_n to_o i_o be_v a_o fresh_a spring_n time_n in_o the_o lord_n he_o that_o fear_v not_o to_o be_v burn_v in_o the_o fire_n how_o will_v he_o fear_v the_o heat_n of_o weather_n or_o what_o care_v he_o for_o the_o pinch_a frost_n which_o burn_v with_o the_o love_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o place_n be_v sharp_a and_o tedious_a to_o they_o that_o be_v giltye_n but_o to_o the_o innocent_a and_o guiltless_a it_o be_v mellifluous_a here_o drop_v the_o delectable_a dew_n here_o flow_v the_o pleasant_a nectar_n here_o run_v the_o sweet_a milk_n here_o be_v plenty_n of_o all_o good_a thing_n and_o although_o the_o place_n itself_o be_v desert_n and_o barren_a yet_o to_o i_o it_o seem_v a_o large_a walk_n and_o a_o valley_n of_o pleasure_n here_o to_o i_o be_v the_o better_a and_o more_o noble_a part_n of_o the_o world_n let_v the_o miserable_a worldling_n say_v and_o confess_v if_o there_o be_v any_o plot_n pastor_n or_o meadow_n so_o delightful_a to_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n as_o here_o here_o i_o see_v king_n prince_n city_n and_o people_n here_o i_o see_v war_n where_o some_o be_v overthrow_v some_o be_v victor_n some_o thrust_v down_o some_o lift_v up_o here_o
be_v the_o mount_n zion_n here_o i_o be_o already_o in_o heaven_n itself_o here_o stand_v first_o christ_n jesus_n in_o the_o front_n about_o he_o stand_v the_o old_a father_n prophet_n and_o evangelist_n apostle_n and_o all_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n of_o who_o some_o do_v embrace_v &_o cherish_v i_o some_o exhort_v i_o some_o open_a the_o sacrament_n unto_o i_o some_o comfort_n i_o to_o be_v short_a diverse_a i_o see_v with_o diverse_a and_o sundry_a torment_n excruciate_v yet_o notwithstanding_o all_o live_a and_o all_o safe_a one_o plaster_n one_o salve_n cure_v all_o their_o delectable_a be_v this_o death_n to_o i_o to_o taste_v the_o lord_n cup_n which_o be_v a_o assure_a pledge_n of_o true_a salvation_n for_o so_o have_v the_o lord_n himself_o forewarn_v we_o say_v
