19_o i_o be_o one_o of_o they_o that_o be_v peaceable_a and_o faithful_a in_o israel_n here_o this_o wise_a woman_n of_o abel_n do_v further_o dissuade_v joab_n from_o proceed_v with_o such_o severity_n against_o this_o city_n by_o three_o several_a argument_n first_o by_o plead_v their_o innocency_n i_o be_o one_o of_o they_o that_o be_v peaceable_a and_o faithful_a in_o israel_n for_o this_o she_o speak_v not_o of_o herself_o in_o particular_a there_o be_v no_o reason_n that_o the_o whole_a city_n shall_v be_v spare_v because_o she_o be_v peaceable_a but_o she_o speak_v in_o the_o be_v call_v in_o the_o scripture_n mother_n partly_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o multitude_n of_o the_o inhabitant_n which_o be_v there_o breed_v and_o bring_v up_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o lap_n and_o city_n have_v the_o command_n over_o they_o or_o at_o least_o because_o the_o town_n and_o village_n have_v much_o dependence_n upon_o they_o as_o child_n upon_o their_o mother_n for_o counsel_n and_o direction_n in_o their_o weighty_a affair_n for_o defence_n against_o invade_v enemy_n and_o for_o a_o supply_n of_o thing_n convenient_a for_o they_o and_o so_o this_o woman_n term_n her_o city_n a_o mother_n in_o israel_n to_o show_v what_o a_o mischief_n he_o shall_v do_v to_o the_o land_n of_o israel_n in_o ruinate_v such_o a_o city_n and_o three_o by_o plead_v the_o wrong_n that_o therein_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o the_o lord_n in_o that_o the_o people_n be_v the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o be_v like_a to_o be_v destroy_v in_o it_o and_o the_o city_n a_o part_n of_o the_o inheritance_n wherein_o god_n have_v place_v his_o people_n why_o will_v thou_o say_v she_o swallow_v up_o the_o inheritance_n of_o the_o lord_n where_o also_o the_o expression_n she_o use_v of_o swallow_v up_o the_o inheritance_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v very_o observable_a for_o thereby_o she_o covert_o blame_v he_o for_o his_o violent_a and_o furious_a proceed_n against_o they_o and_o intimate_v that_o if_o he_o will_v not_o do_v all_o in_o a_o passion_n but_o will_v a_o little_a deliberate_a of_o these_o his_o proceed_n he_o will_v be_v soon_o of_o another_o mind_n verse_n 21._o but_o a_o man_n of_o
