and_o the_o contrary_a to_o it_o evident_o true_a that_o every_o man_n be_v bind_v to_o join_v in_o faith_n with_o the_o protestant_n church_n for_o our_o faith_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o every_o article_n or_o proposition_n to_o be_v assent_v to_o or_o believe_v as_o true_a upon_o the_o authority_n of_o god_n the_o revealer_n of_o they_o by_o his_o holy_a servant_n the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n the_o article_n which_o we_o assent_n to_o or_o believe_v in_o this_o sort_n be_v either_o express_o set_v down_o in_o the_o scripture_n in_o direct_a word_n so_o that_o the_o sense_n of_o they_o can_v reasonable_o be_v doubt_v of_o or_o else_o gather_v and_o conclude_v from_o such_o place_n by_o necessary_a consequence_n so_o that_o if_o the_o one_o be_v true_a the_o other_o must_v needs_o be_v true_a also_o whatsoever_o proposition_n be_v not_o of_o this_o nature_n we_o allow_v not_o for_o a_o article_n of_o faith_n how_o likely_a soever_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v now_o in_o this_o faith_n of_o we_o there_o can_v be_v no_o danger_n see_v whatsoever_o proposition_n be_v plain_o express_v in_o the_o scripture_n or_o necessary_o conclude_v from_o it_o be_v undoubted_o the_o divine_a revelation_n which_o be_v the_o only_a foundation_n of_o true_a faith_n more_o particular_o i_o say_v touch_v the_o say_a assumption_n that_o it_o must_v be_v understand_v of_o the_o protestant_n faith_n so_o far_o forth_o as_o it_o differ_v from_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n else_o by_o it_o they_o shall_v dissuade_v man_n from_o the_o faith_n of_o their_o own_o church_n beside_o it_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v that_o this_o assumption_n suppose_v that_o the_o protestant_n have_v a_o faith_n opposite_a to_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o be_v utter_o false_a all_o the_o opposition_n we_o make_v to_o they_o be_v by_o refuse_v their_o faith_n not_o by_o deliver_v any_o of_o our_o own_o and_o by_o ansswer_v to_o their_o argument_n so_o that_o we_o hold_v the_o negative_a part_n of_o the_o contradiction_n in_o all_o point_n wherein_o we_o dissent_v from_o they_o although_o in_o some_o we_o add_v a_o contrary_a affirmative_a where_o the_o scripture_n affirm_v that_o which_o they_o deny_v for_o example_n they_o say_v the_o pope_n be_v god_n vicar_n this_o we_o oppose_v by_o say_v that_o the_o divine_a revelation_n do_v not_o teach_v we_o that_o the_o pope_n be_v god_n vicar_n again_o they_o deliver_v this_o for_o a_o article_n of_o faith_n that_o concupiscence_n in_o the_o regenerate_a be_v not_o proper_o sin_n to_o this_o we_o answer_v by_o way_n of_o opposition_n as_o to_o the_o former_a the_o divine_a revelation_n do_v not_o say_v that_o concupiscence_n in_o the_o regenerate_a be_v not_o proper_o sin_n yea_o in_o this_o point_n we_o say_v further_o the_o scripture_n say_v it_o be_v proper_o sin_n but_o our_o opposition_n to_o they_o in_o this_o point_n stand_v in_o this_o that_o the_o scripture_n do_v not_o say_v it_o be_v not_o proper_o sin_n so_o that_o though_o there_o be_v no_o word_n to_o the_o contrary_a of_o it_o in_o scripture_n yet_o that_o proposâ—â—on_n of_o they_o be_v utter_o false_a by_o which_o it_o be_v manifest_a that_o in_o those_o thing_n wherein_o we_o dissent_v from_o they_o we_o have_v not_o article_n of_o faith_n contrary_a to_o the_o article_n of_o faith_n which_o they_o propound_v but_o only_o deny_v that_o those_o they_o will_v thrust_v upon_o we_o be_v article_n of_o faith_n if_o any_o man_n object_n as_o stapleton_n and_o wright_n do_v that_o our_o religion_n be_v negative_a we_o answer_v that_o if_o they_o mean_v we_o hold_v no_o article_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v affirmative_a they_o charge_v we_o untrue_o for_o we_o consent_v with_o they_o in_o many_o affirmative_a article_n of_o faith_n as_o for_o those_o point_n wherein_o we_o dissent_v from_o they_o it_o be_v no_o fault_n in_o we_o to_o hold_v the_o negative_a for_o there_o be_v no_o other_o way_n for_o we_o to_o oppose_v the_o error_n they_o bring_v for_o matter_n of_o faith_n but_o by_o deny_v they_o to_o be_v matter_n of_o faith_n so_o they_o this_o be_v that_o they_o avouch_v in_o the_o former_a assumption_n no_o man_n may_v join_v in_o faith_n with_o the_o protestant_n church_n in_o those_o point_n wherein_o they_o dissent_v from_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o protestant_n in_o those_o point_n be_v false_a which_o they_o thus_o prove_v the_o true_a faith_n have_v be_v profess_v so_o public_o in_o all_o age_n since_o the_o apostle_n that_o the_o professor_n of_o it_o from_o age_n to_o age_n may_v be_v name_v the_o protestant_n faith_n have_v not_o be_v so_o public_o profess_v in_o all_o age_n since_o the_o apostle_n that_o the_o professor_n of_o it_o from_o age_n to_o age_n may_v be_v name_v therefore_o
