shall_v never_o be_v urge_v against_o they_o as_o the_o definitive_a sentence_n of_o this_o kirk_n our_o answer_n be_v as_o easy_a that_o all_o this_o be_v offer_v to_o they_o in_o our_o conference_n section_n and_o turn-in_a upon_o the_o assembly_n and_o their_o determination_n therein_o for_o we_o do_v not_o think_v nor_o ever_o do_v we_o say_v that_o the_o lay_v aside_o the_o debate_n concern_v the_o resolution_n will_v be_v the_o fall_n of_o this_o church_n only_o we_o assert_v that_o their_o question_v the_o authority_n of_o these_o assembly_n upon_o the_o ground_n produce_v and_o our_o their_o committee_n of_o equal_a number_n as_o be_v frequent_a in_o this_o pamphlet_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n they_o ought_v first_o to_o prove_v their_o way_n to_o be_v sound_n before_o they_o be_v so_o industrious_a to_o make_v so_o many_o proselyte_n next_o they_o purge_v themselves_o of_o the_o crime_n partly_o in_o that_o though_o the_o commission_n of_o the_o assembly_n 1650._o be_v in_o judgement_n of_o divine_n write_v on_o this_o subject_n as_o we_o hear_v before_o and_o as_o it_o be_v to_o no_o purpose_n to_o appeal_v if_o man_n do_v not_o submit_v but_o go_v on_o see_v they_o it_o must_v be_v a_o strange_a thing_n if_o a_o minister_n have_v offer_v to_o maintain_v his_o ministry_n before_o all_o the_o judicatories_n of_o a_o nationall_n church_n and_o all_o of_o they_o reject_v it_o yet_o he_o will_v obtrude_v it_o upon_o they_o will_z they_o will_v they_o and_o will_v make_v schism_n and_o faction_n never_o so_o many_o ere_o he_o be_v not_o a_o minister_n we_o unjust_a sentence_n but_o that_o they_o will_v judge_v according_a to_o know_a rule_n yea_o let_v this_o matter_n come_v in_o question_n betwixt_o judicatory_n and_o party_n and_o it_o will_v be_v lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o party_n that_o they_o submit_v not_o to_o just_a sentence_n it_o be_v true_a they_o call_v they_o unjust_a but_o to_o who_o

yield_v that_o judicatories_n be_v limit_v by_o their_o commission_n that_o they_o may_v do_v no_o unjust_a act_n and_o if_o they_o do_v they_o must_v answer_v to_o god_n for_o it_o we_o yield_v also_o that_o the_o rule_n of_o their_o commission_n do_v regulate_v also_o those_o who_o be_v under_o they_o as_o to_o their_o approve_v or_o give_v active_a obedience_n to_o their_o injunction_n of_o our_o submission_n but_o to_o a_o peculiar_a command_n of_o god_n enjoin_v submission_n in_o such_o case_n to_o prevent_v schism_n and_o confusion_n this_o may_v easy_o take_v off_o the_o most_o of_o their_o reason_n they_o urge_v act_n of_o assembly_n pag._n 51._o that_o minister_n ought_v to_o be_v censure_v for_o lawful_a and_o just_a cause_n and_o take_v much_o pain_n to_o prove_v that_o judicatories_n be_v bind_v to_o judge_v according_a to_o the_o word_n arg._n 1._o and_o elsewhere_o and_o when_o they_o do_v otherwise_o that_o they_o act_n that_o for_o which_o they_o have_v no_o commission_n nor_o power_n pag._n 96._o all_o which_o we_o grant_v to_o be_v true_a of_o ecclesiastical_a judge_n as_o it_o be_v also_o alike_o true_a of_o civil_a power_n that_o none_o of_o they_o
