you_o and_o i_o do_v suffer_v by_o do_v not_o believe_v that_o they_o persecute_v we_o for_o godliness_n but_o think_v that_o here_o the_o case_n be_v more_o defensible_a than_o you_o be_v for_o you_o have_v no_o just_a authority_n over_o we_o when_o the_o anabaptâ—sts_n do_v pull_v down_o the_o minister_n they_o pull_v down_o the_o magistrate_n too_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o perscution_n of_o equal_n without_o authority_n but_o those_o that_o we_o minister_n suffer_v by_o now_o be_v our_o lawful_a ruler_n who_o have_v make_v law_n to_o require_v we_o to_o subscribe_v and_o say_v and_o swear_v and_o do_v the_o thing_n which_o we_o do_v not_o and_o therefore_o they_o think_v that_o we_o suffer_v but_o for_o a_o different_a opinion_n join_v with_o disobedience_n it_o be_v not_o all_o man_n who_o they_o forbid_v to_o preach_v but_o we_o who_o dissent_n and_o do_v not_o obey_v they_o it_o be_v not_o all_o man_n that_o be_v godly_a who_o they_o imprison_v but_o those_o that_o meet_v to_o worship_n god_n in_o a_o place_n and_o manner_n differ_v from_o they_o and_o forbid_v by_o they_o so_o that_o how_o can_v you_o say_v that_o this_o be_v not_o for_o differ_v opinion_n obj._n but_o we_o forbid_v not_o they_o to_o hold_v their_o own_o church-communion_n though_o we_o separate_v from_o they_o we_o never_o deny_v they_o the_o liberty_n of_o their_o conscience_n answ._n some_o of_o your_o judgement_n deny_v many_o of_o they_o much_o of_o that_o liberty_n which_o consist_v in_o worship_v of_o god_n in_o their_o own_o way_n when_o you_o be_v in_o power_n but_o suppose_v they_o have_v not_o it_o be_v but_o another_o way_n of_o uncharitableness_n the_o vice_n express_v seem_v to_o be_v the_o same_o for_o you_o condemn_v they_o as_o unfit_a for_o christian-communion_n and_o therefore_o you_o exclude_v they_o from_o you_o and_o you_o take_v their_o church-communion_n among_o themselves_o to_o be_v but_o a_o profanation_n of_o holy_a thing_n which_o make_v they_o the_o more_o impious_a and_o therefore_o the_o more_o odious_a and_o you_o tolerate_v it_o in_o they_o as_o you_o tolerate_v man_n folly_n and_o madness_n or_o leprosy_n or_o plague_n because_o you_o can_v cure_v it_o and_o i_o pray_v you_o judge_v whether_o there_o be_v any_o more_o christian_a love_n in_o this_o kind_n of_o deal_v than_o there_o be_v in_o that_o which_o you_o call_v persecution_n or_o at_o least_o whether_o it_o proceed_v not_o from_o the_o same_o uncharitableness_n i_o suppose_v you_o to_o be_v spiritual_a and_o not_o carnal_a person_n at_o least_o in_o profession_n and_o therefore_o that_o you_o be_v not_o so_o tender_a of_o the_o flesh_n as_o to_o take_v its_o suffering_n to_o be_v any_o great_a matter_n to_o you_o in_o comparison_n of_o any_o of_o the_o suffering_n of_o the_o soul._n when_o you_o refuse_v communion_n with_o man_n as_o judge_v they_o unfit_a for_o fellowship_n with_o the_o visible_a church_n of_o christ_n you_o judge_v they_o the_o visible_a member_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o condemn_v they_o to_o the_o loss_n of_o the_o great_a privilege_n on_o earth_n and_o to_o be_v leave_v out_o with_o the_o dog_n with_o publican_n and_o heathen_n though_o you_o think_v that_o you_o have_v no_o more_o to_o do_v yourselves_o in_o the_o execution_n of_o this_o sentence_n but_o to_o separate_v from_o they_o yet_o you_o declare_v that_o you_o think_v that_o all_o other_o shall_v do_v the_o same_o so_o that_o your_o tolerate_v their_o communion_n among_o themselves_o be_v no_o great_a signification_n of_o your_o charity_n the_o minister_n tend_v to_o schism_n and_o to_o the_o ignorance_n and_o corruption_n of_o their_o flock_n and_o though_o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o person_n be_v bad_a enough_o of_o itself_o yet_o if_o it_o fall_v on_o many_o and_o there_o remain_v not_o a_o considerable_a number_n who_o preserve_v their_o necessary_a reputation_n it_o turn_v to_o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o office_n itself_o and_o consequent_o of_o the_o gospel_n and_o it_o must_v be_v apparent_a worth_n that_o must_v preserve_v the_o person_n honour_n the_o silver_n lace_n do_v make_v the_o apprentice_n in_o apelles_n shop_n
