communion_n between_o christ_n and_o they_o as_o between_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n answer_v 2._o beside_o the_o question_n be_v not_o what_o communion_n christ_n may_v have_v with_o a_o stranger_n in_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n in_o the_o assembly_n of_o his_o church_n but_o what_o communion_n there_o be_v between_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o church_n who_o preach_v the_o word_n and_o the_o stranger_n christ_n out_o of_o his_o sovereign_a grace_n may_v dispense_v himself_o to_o the_o stranger_n in_o what_o relation_n he_o please_v he_o may_v make_v the_o word_n both_o as_o spiritual_a seed_n and_o as_o food_n to_o he_o and_o so_o may_v declare_v himself_o both_o a_o father_n and_o a_o pastor_n and_o husband_n and_o a_o mother_n to_o he_o and_o yet_o no_o such_o stranger_n without_o the_o consent_n or_o cognizance_n of_o the_o church_n 2._o church_n relation_n between_o a_o officer_n and_o a_o member_n carry_v on_o the_o duty_n of_o church-work_n between_o they_o unto_o full_a accomplishment_n if_o any_o offence_n grow_v between_o a_o officer_n and_o a_o member_n the_o one_o have_v power_n to_o deal_v with_o the_o other_o in_o a_o churchway_n unto_o a_o perfect_a heal_n but_o there_o be_v not_o the_o like_a power_n or_o liberty_n either_o in_o preacher_n or_o stranger_n so_o to_o proceed_v one_o with_o another_o in_o case_n of_o any_o such_o offence_n the_o examiner_n second_o argument_n be_v take_v also_o from_o my_o own_o confession_n as_o if_o there_o be_v no_o weighty_a argument_n to_o be_v find_v in_o this_o case_n but_o what_o may_v that_o notwithstanding_o our_o former_a profession_n and_o exercise_n of_o ministry_n in_o old_a england_n yet_o be_v cast_v out_o from_o thence_o by_o the_o usurp_a power_n of_o the_o prelacy_n and_o
