Again Fasting saith St. Chrysostome Ser. de Jejunio Tom. 5. is an imitating or following the very Angels in Heaven so far forth as we are able c. Fasting is the life of Angels so St. Ambrose Tom. 4. de Jejun cap. 3. p. 239. Qui jejunat Angelorum ritu vivit c.
