even_o to_o the_o utmost_a against_o we_o and_o if_o they_o be_v not_o but_o the_o exasperation_n will_v arise_v new_a what_o be_v the_o exasperation_n of_o vile_a man_n to_o the_o abide_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n upon_o we_o verse_n 18._o and_o in_o that_o day_n i_o will_v make_v a_o covenant_n for_o they_o with_o the_o beast_n of_o the_o field_n and_o with_o the_o fowl_n of_o heaven_n and_o they_o keep_v their_o joyful_a feast_n of_o pentecost_n so_o may_v you_o if_o you_o dedicate_v your_o young_a year_n unto_o god_n on_o the_o other_o side_n what_o a_o sad_a thing_n will_v it_o be_v for_o old_a man_n that_o but_o now_o begin_v to_o think_v of_o god_n and_o christ_n it_o be_v well_o you_o do_v so_o but_o you_o can_v do_v it_o comfortable_o as_o you_o may_v have_v do_v if_o you_o have_v begin_v in_o your_o young_a year_n if_o the_o jew_n when_o their_o harvest_n be_v do_v have_v bring_v two_o loaf_n unto_o god_n may_v god_n say_v why_o do_v you_o not_o bring_v the_o first_o fruit_n unto_o i_o god_n may_v so_o upbraid_v you_o but_o however_o come_v into_o god_n and_o he_o will_v not_o upbraid_v you_o he_o upbraid_v no_o man_n but_o yet_o the_o comfort_n will_v not_o be_v so_o much_o because_o your_o conscience_n will_v upbraid_v you_o five_o obser_n note_v this_o happy_a be_v the_o man_n that_o when_o he_o come_v to_o reap_v the_o fruit_n of_o his_o action_n shall_v we_o shall_v be_v so_o swallow_v up_o in_o blessing_n god_n for_o his_o word_n &_o ordinance_n and_o spiritual_a mercy_n as_o in_o comparison_n our_o heart_n shall_v be_v above_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o earth_n therefore_o it_o be_v observable_a that_o in_o ezekiel_n where_o there_o be_v a_o prophecy_n of_o the_o state_n of_o
the_o church_n set_v out_o by_o the_o jewish_a way_n of_o feast_n though_o there_o be_v mention_n of_o the_o passeover_n and_o new_a moon_n and_o sabbath_n and_o of_o the_o feast_n of_o tabernacle_n yet_o there_o be_v no_o mention_n of_o the_o feast_n of_o pentecost_n no_o mention_n of_o keep_v a_o feast_n for_o blessing_n god_n for_o these_o thing_n not_o but_o that_o they_o shall_v do_v so_o but_o that_o their_o heart_n shall_v be_v so_o carry_v up_o with_o abundance_n of_o spiritual_a mercy_n that_o then_o all_o for_o christ_n and_o for_o heaven_n and_o for_o eternity_n their_o heart_n shall_v be_v whole_o set_v upon_o spiritual_a thing_n 7._o obs_n it_o be_v a_o great_a engagement_n to_o they_o to_o use_v the_o creature_n when_o in_o the_o first_o beginning_n they_o have_v dedicate_v they_o unto_o god_n and_o in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o harvest_n they_o have_v solemnize_v his_o mercy_n in_o give_v they_o the_o creature_n for_o god_n do_v thereby_o teach_v they_o that_o they_o may_v be_v further_o engage_v to_o use_v all_o creature_n for_o his_o service_n as_o it_o be_v a_o mighty_a engagement_n to_o any_o man_n if_o god_n give_v he_o a_o heart_n to_o dedicate_v the_o begin_n of_o a_o mercy_n unto_o god_n and_o when_o he_o have_v get_v the_o mercy_n fulfil_v then_o in_o a_o solemn_a manner_n he_o bless_v god_n for_o it_o to_o make_v use_n of_o this_o mercy_n for_o god_n honour_n certain_o the_o reason_n why_o many_o be_v so_o loose_a in_o their_o conversation_n and_o do_v not_o employ_v the_o creature_n of_o god_n to_o his_o glory_n be_v because_o they_o do_v not_o in_o a_o solemn_a manner_n bless_v god_n for_o that_o they_o enjoy_v as_o in_o your_o trade_n suppose_v you_o have_v some_o comfortable_a income_n perhaps_o you_o take_v these_o comfort_n and_o thank_v god_n in_o a_o slight_a manner_n for_o they_o how_o do_v you_o use_v they_o afterward_o only_o for_o yourselves_o and_o for_o the_o flesh_n but_o when_o you_o hear_v of_o income_n of_o riches_n flow_v in_o upon_o you_o if_o you_o can_v then_o present_o take_v the_o first_o fruit_n and_o give_v some_o part_n to_o god_n service_n as_o a_o testimony_n of_o thankfulness_n and_o in_o your_o family_n and_o closert_n in_o a_o solemn_a manner_n give_v god_n the_o glory_n for_o the_o good_a success_n you_o have_v have_v in_o your_o estate_n this_o will_v be_v a_o mighty_a engagement_n to_o you_o to_o use_v your_o estate_n for_o his_o service_n 8._o mark_v at_o the_o first_o in_o their_o preparation_n they_o be_v to_o bring_v but_o a_o sheaf_n but_o afterward_o levit._n 23._o 17._o they_o be_v to_o bring_v two_o loaf_n in_o the_o first_o they_o be_v to_o offer_v one_o he-lambe_n without_o blemish_n but_o afterward_o seven_o lamb_n &_o a_o young_a bullock_n and_o two_o ram_n etc._n etc._n both_o burnt-offering_n and_o sinne-offering_n and_o peace-offering_n when_o they_o have_v receive_v the_o full_a harvest_n thence_o learn_v obs_n though_o you_o be_v forward_o to_o give_v god_n glory_n when_o you_o be_v young_a the_o first_o fruit_n of_o your_o year_n yet_o when_o you_o come_v to_o be_v old_a you_o shall_v flourish_v in_o the_o court_n of_o god_n house_n first_o they_o offer_v but_o a_o little_a unto_o god_n afterward_o abundance_n do_v you_o so_o i_o appeal_v to_o all_o old_a man_n that_o be_v here_o this_o day_n if_o god_n do_v give_v you_o any_o heart_n to_o give_v up_o your_o young_a year_n to_o he_o bless_v god_n for_o it_o but_o now_o when_o you_o be_v old_a be_v you_o as_o forward_o as_o ever_o you_o be_v you_o ought_v to_o be_v not_o only_o so_o they_o be_v to_o look_v through_o their_o sacrifice_n to_o christ_n and_o their_o sin-offering_n be_v to_o be_v a_o atonement_n for_o their_o sin_n the_o peace-offering_a be_v in_o thanksgiving_n for_o a_o mercy_n or_o when_o they_o will_v petition_v to_o god_n for_o a_o further_a mercy_n all_o this_o must_v be_v do_v in_o the_o day_n of_o pentecost_n but_o beside_o this_o end_n of_o pentecost_n to_o solemnize_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o their_o harvest_n there_o be_v a_o other_o that_o be_v constant_o affirm_v by_o the_o jew_n and_o i_o find_v many_o divine_n make_v no_o question_n of_o it_o but_o i_o find_v it_o not_o so_o clear_o lay_v down_o in_o the_o word_n they_o say_v god_n in_o this_o feast_n do_v solemnize_v the_o give_n of_o the_o law_n 9_o and_o this_o be_v their_o ground_n because_o fifty_o day_n after_o their_o come_n out_o of_o egypt_n be_v the_o time_n of_o god_n give_v the_o law_n and_o so_o they_o say_v pentecost_n be_v appoint_v to_o bless_v god_n for_o give_v the_o law_n the_o jew_n say_v that_o god_n deal_v with_o they_o as_o a_o king_n shall_v deal_v with_o a_o poor_a man_n in_o prison_n first_o he_o release_v he_o of_o his_o bondage_n and_o be_v the_o law_n and_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o we_o count_v so_o disigent_o the_o very_a week_n nay_o the_o day_n as_o long_v for_o that_o time_n when_o we_o be_v to_o be_v marry_v to_o the_o law_n when_o the_o lord_n shall_v grant_v to_o we_o such_o a_o mercy_n from_o whence_o we_o may_v note_v obser_n that_o we_o be_v not_o only_o to_o keep_v god_n law_n but_o to_o rejoice_v in_o god_n law_n not_o only_o to_o look_v at_o what_o be_v command_v as_o a_o duty_n but_o as_o a_o high_a privilege_n and_o so_o bless_v god_n for_o the_o law_n it_o be_v a_o high_a thing_n to_o love_v god_n law_n and_o rejoice_v in_o it_o then_o to_o obey_v it_o great_a peace_n shall_v they_o have_v that_o love_v thy_o law_n david_n profess_v that_o he_o love_v the_o law_n of_o god_n more_o than_o silver_n and_o gold_n that_o it_o be_v sweet_a to_o he_o then_o the_o honey_n and_o the_o honey_n comb_n the_o jew_n at_o this_o day_n do_v much_o rejoice_v when_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v read_v
