prayer_n to_o god_n though_o it_o be_v of_o other_o man_n word_n prescribe_v unto_o we_o other_o that_o we_o shall_v repeat_v the_o same_o thing_n over_o again_o and_o again_o other_o that_o we_o shall_v use_v sigh_n without_o word_n other_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o pray_v unto_o god_n at_o all_o see_v he_o know_v what_o we_o need_v and_o other_o that_o we_o shall_v ever_o be_v pray_v give_v no_o place_n either_o to_o other_o exercise_n of_o religion_n or_o to_o any_o labour_n of_o the_o hand_n etc._n etc._n all_o which_o and_o the_o like_a heresy_n and_o abuse_n of_o the_o heavenly_a the_o constitution_n of_o our_o church_n touch_v the_o case_n and_o excommunication_n of_o h._n c._n and_o e._n h._n his_o wife_n of_o which_o he_o speak_v both_o here_o and_o afterward_o again_o how_o will_v he_o prove_v the_o person_n speak_v of_o to_o be_v repentant_a
when_o as_o the_o one_o of_o they_o deny_v the_o fact_n which_o she_o have_v before_o confess_v to_o two_o of_o the_o brethren_n &_o the_o other_o in_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o church_n show_v himself_o unrepentant_a many_o way_n which_o i_o will_v not_o here_o mention_v and_o if_o he_o do_v not_o show_v they_o to_o have_v repent_v how_o have_v he_o prove_v that_o for_o which_o he_o allege_v they_o beside_o that_o there_o be_v also_o other_o cause_n for_o which_o they_o be_v excommunicate_v as_o for_o that_o which_o he_o say_v divers_a of_o we_o have_v accuse_v themselves_o of_o adultery_n that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v rid_v of_o their_o wife_n this_o also_o he_o shall_v have_v prove_v and_o not_o only_o have_v say_v it_o for_o we_o know_v that_o the_o person_n who_o he_o the_o thing_n do_v &_o of_o the_o quality_n of_o the_o person_n &_o of_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o church_n 2._o that_o the_o church_n have_v good_a and_o due_a trial_n of_o such_o be_v return_v afore_o they_o choose_v they_o into_o office_n 3._o that_o with_o these_o caution_n the_o fit_a be_v take_v into_o office_n who_o god_n give_v in_o the_o present_a estate_n of_o the_o church_n and_o all_o these_o thing_n so_o mind_v and_o observe_v of_o we_o as_o if_o at_o any_o time_n a_o better_a way_n be_v show_v out_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n we_o be_v ready_a to_o receive_v it_o in_o the_o lord_n this_o be_v that_o whereof_o hitherto_o we_o have_v agree_v about_o this_o matter_n the_o particular_n whereof_o there_o will_v be_v occasion_n to_o set_v down_o more_o at_o large_a hereafter_o but_o now_o admit_v that_o the_o whole_a church_n hold_v it_o not_o lawful_a for_o such_o to_o bear_v office_n &_o afterward_o alter_v it_o as_o here_o he_o say_v yet_o be_v this_o err_v in_o practice_n be_v it_o therefore_o a_o false_a description_n or_o we_o a_o false_a church_n the_o church_n of_o asia_n and_o achaia_n err_v great_o in_o their_o practice_n be_v they_o not_o therefore_o true_a church_n according_a to_o the_o say_a description_n but_o yet_o where_o the_o practice_n be_v not_o according_a to_o the_o profession_n it_o make_v the_o sin_n the_o more_o grievous_a true_a and_o therefore_o tho_o white_a his_o sin_n be_v unspeakable_o grievous_a as_o all_o they_o do_v know_v who_o have_v see_v what_o great_a and_o earnest_a profession_n of_o the_o wherein_o we_o be_v set_v the_o call_n of_o christ_n with_o the_o church_n covenant_n which_o give_v be_v unto_o the_o church_n than_o i_o answer_v that_o difference_n must_v be_v put_v between_o the_o way_n of_o god_n itself_o and_o our_o weak_a walk_v therein_o between_o the_o call_n of_o christ_n together_o with_o the_o covenant_n of_o the_o church_n &_o our_o sin_v and_o transgress_v in_o our_o own_o way_n notwitstanding_n between_o the_o church_n consider_v in_o christ_n the_o head_n thereof_o in_o who_o we_o be_v wash_v from_o all_o our_o sin_n guide_v in_o in_o the_o way_n of_o truth_n and_o preserve_v to_o eternal_a life_n and_o between_o the_o church_n consider_v in_o the_o member_n thereof_o as_o we_o be_v in_o ourselves_o every_o one_o sinful_a and_o subject_a daily_a to_o err_v both_o in_o judgement_n and_o practice_n and_o this_o not_o only_o in_o the_o member_n several_o but_o in_o all_o of_o we_o joint_o together_o if_o this_o distinction_n be_v not_o observe_v who_o can_v show_v that_o ever_o there_o be_v or_o can_v be_v true_a church_n upon_o the_o earth_n or_o how_o we_o can_v have_v true_a comfort_n in_o this_o life_n to_o ourselves_o or_o esteem_v and_o discern_v aright_o between_o thing_n that_o differ_v as_o we_o ought_v and_o if_o it_o be_v observe_v any_o may_v see_v that_o all_o his_o exception_n against_o we_o be_v of_o no_o moment_n it_o be_v not_o our_o knowledge_n or_o practice_n but_o our_o call_n &_o covenant_n in_o christ_n that_o seclude_v in_o our_o constitution_n all_o false_a and_o evil_a way_n whether_o as_o yet_o see_v or_o not_o for_o which_o cause_n also_o i_o need_v not_o here_o stand_v upon_o his_o needle_n and_o erroneous_a discourse_n about_o that_o which_o he_o call_v a_o shift_n though_o in_o deed_n it_o be_v a_o if_o we_o will_v consider_v aright_o of_o a_o church_n to_o look_v at_o their_o call_n and_o covenant_n in_o christ_n which_o be_v from_o all_o false_a way_n whatsoever_o see_v or_o unseen_a to_o faith_n howsoever_o therefore_o we_o have_v err_v or_o may_v err_v in_o judgement_n or_o practice_n as_o we_o and_o all_o man_n in_o this_o life_n be_v always_o subject_a to_o do_v yet_o do_v it_o
