they_o know_v well_o that_o the_o thing_n they_o prophesy_v be_v not_o to_o be_v fulfil_v in_o their_o own_o time_n and_o therefore_o in_o their_o prophesy_v concern_v they_o though_o both_o themselves_o and_o people_n of_o god_n that_o be_v contemporary_a with_o they_o do_v reap_v the_o comfort_n of_o that_o doctrine_n and_o be_v by_o faith_n partaker_n of_o the_o same_o salvation_n and_o so_o it_o be_v to_o themselves_o as_o well_o as_o to_o we_o yet_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o accomplishment_n they_o know_v it_o be_v not_o to_o themselves_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v bring_v to_o much_o to_o confirm_v our_o christian_n faith_n there_o be_v a_o foolish_a and_o miserable_a way_n of_o verify_v this_o man_n minister_a the_o doctrine_n of_o salvation_n to_o other_o and_o not_o to_o themselves_o carry_v it_o all_o in_o their_o head_n and_o tongue_n and_o none_o of_o it_o in_o their_o heart_n not_o hear_v it_o even_o while_o they_o preach_v it_o reach_v the_o bread_n of_o life_n to_o other_o and_o eat_v none_o of_o it_o themselves_o and_o this_o the_o apostle_n say_v that_o he_o be_v most_o careful_a to_o avoid_v and_o therefore_o deal_v severe_o with_o his_o body_n that_o it_o may_v not_o this_o way_n endanger_v his_o soul._n i_o beat_v down_o my_o body_n say_v he_o and_o keep_v it_o in_o subjection_n lest_o when_o i_o have_v preach_v to_o other_o i_o myself_o shall_v mean_v that_o those_o news_n be_v never_o unseasonable_a nor_o beside_o the_o purpose_n that_o the_o sweetness_n of_o those_o thought_n viz._n the_o consideration_n of_o the_o messiah_n be_v able_a his_o church_n make_v up_o that_o great_a assembly_n of_o all_o the_o elect_n to_o enjoy_v and_o praise_v he_o for_o all_o eternity_n eph._n 4.11_o for_o this_o end_n send_v he_o his_o son_n out_o be_v like_a itself_o and_o have_v more_o of_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o his_o glory_n fill_v it_o as_o a_o cloud_n and_o it_o have_v be_v observe_v that_o the_o more_o the_o church_n grow_v in_o outward_a riches_n and_o state_n the_o less_o she_o grow_v but_o abate_v sensible_o in_o spiritual_a excellency_n but_o the_o spiritualness_n of_o this_o building_n will_v better_o appear_v in_o consider_v particular_o the_o material_n of_o it_o as_o here_o express_v now_o 2._o the_o whole_a building_n be_v christ_n mystical_a christ_n together_o with_o the_o entire_a body_n of_o the_o elect_n he_o as_o the_o foundation_n and_o they_o as_o the_o stone_n build_v upon_o he_o he_o the_o live_a stone_n and_o they_o likewise_o by_o union_n with_o he_o living_n stone_n he_o have_v life_n be_v the_o foundation_n of_o this_o build_n and_o he_o be_v in_o true_a value_n answerable_a to_o this_o esteem_n precious_a which_o seem_v to_o signify_v a_o kind_n of_o inward_a worth_n hide_v from_o the_o eye_n of_o man_n blind_a unbelieve_a man_n but_o well_o know_v to_o god_n and_o to_o those_o to_o who_o he_o reveal_v he_o and_o this_o be_v the_o very_a cause_n of_o his_o rejection_n by_o the_o most_o the_o ignorance_n of_o his_o worth_n and_o excellency_n as_o a_o precious_a stone_n that_o the_o skilful_a lapidary_n esteem_v much_o worth_n a_o ignorant_a beholder_n make_v little_a or_o no_o account_n of_o these_o thing_n hold_v likewise_o in_o the_o other_o stone_n of_o this_o building_n choose_v before_o time_n all_o that_o shall_v be_v of_o this_o building_n foreordain_v in_o god_n purpose_n all_o write_v in_o that_o book_n before_o hand_n and_o then_o in_o due_a time_n they_o be_v choose_v by_o actual_a calling_n according_a to_o that_o purpose_n hew_v out_o and_o sever_v by_o god_n own_o hand_n out_o of_o the_o quarry_n of_o corrupt_a nature_n dead_a stone_n in_o themselves_o as_o the_o rest_n but_o make_v live_v by_o his_o bring_v they_o to_o habitation_n in_o earth_n be_v it_o in_o great_a palace_n and_o court_n no._n but_o with_o he_o that_o be_v of_o a_o contrite_a and_o humble_a spirit_n now_o these_o be_v the_o base_a in_o man_n
