practice_n which_o we_o know_v to_o be_v against_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o these_o two_o case_n to_o withdraw_v our_o obedience_n to_o the_o church_n be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v a_o sin_n that_o it_o be_v a_o necessary_a duty_n because_o we_o have_v a_o obligation_n to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n antecedent_n to_o that_o we_o have_v to_o those_o of_o the_o church_n and_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o to_o join_v with_o those_o that_o do_v the_o reason_n be_v clear_a from_o the_o forego_n principle_n viz._n because_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o obey_v as_o far_o as_o we_o can_v and_o where_o we_o can_v not_o entrench_v upon_o any_o of_o those_o ground_n upon_o which_o our_o ancestor_n proceed_v to_o the_o reformation_n of_o religion_n among_o we_o and_o for_o most_o of_o the_o thing_n here_o deliver_v we_o have_v also_o the_o suffrage_n of_o several_a and_o those_o the_o most_o learned_a and_o moderate_a of_o our_o dissent_v brethren_n and_o now_o if_o after_o this_o any_o one_o be_v offend_v as_o indeed_o these_o kind_n of_o discourse_n be_v seldom_o very_o acceptable_a all_o i_o can_v say_v be_v this_o that_o the_o truth_n here_o deliver_v be_v real_o of_o so_o great_a importance_n to_o religion_n and_o the_o public_a peace_n that_o they_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v dissemble_v or_o suppress_v for_o any_o bad_a reception_n they_o may_v meet_v with_o from_o some_o man_n and_o contention_n the_o thing_n that_o make_v for_o peace_n in_o this_o sense_n be_v more_o especial_o these_o that_o follow_v which_o i_o shall_v deliver_v by_o way_n of_o rule_n and_o advice_n the_o first_o rule_n be_v to_o distinguish_v careful_o between_o matter_n of_o faith_n and_o matter_n of_o opinion_n and_o as_o to_o these_o latter_a to_o be_v willing_a that_o every_o one_o shall_v enjoy_v the_o liberty_n of_o judge_v for_o himself_o this_o be_v one_o thing_n that_o will_v help_v very_o much_o to_o the_o extinguish_n of_o those_o unnatural_a heat_n and_o animosity_n which_o
