our_o saviour_n as_o you_o term_v it_o which_o you_o look_v on_o as_o the_o chief_a and_o main_a power_n of_o the_o priestly_a office_n but_o only_a empower_n to_o forgive_v sin_n and_o although_o you_o allow_v our_o form_n at_o present_a since_o the_o insertion_n of_o those_o word_n for_o the_o office_n and_o work_n of_o a_o priest_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n to_o be_v sufficient_o perfect_a because_o in_o the_o word_n priest_n you_o think_v may_v be_v include_v all_o that_o belong_v to_o he_o yet_o still_o judge_v our_o order_n to_o be_v invalid_a by_o reason_n of_o the_o former_a defect_n because_o say_v you_o if_o the_o presbyter_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v not_o valid_o ordain_v by_o the_o first_o form_n till_o the_o addition_n abovementioned_a be_v insert_v in_o the_o year_n 1662._o then_o through_o this_o defect_n those_o who_o be_v choose_v out_o of_o they_o to_o be_v bishop_n can_v not_o valid_o be_v ordain_v such_o because_o they_o be_v that_o our_o form_n of_o priestly_a ordination_n do_v not_o include_v the_o whole_a priestly_a power_n as_o to_o the_o first_o although_o we_o allow_v such_o form_n very_o useful_a to_o make_v a_o more_o clear_a declaration_n of_o the_o intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o that_o act_n whereby_o the_o office_n be_v confer_v and_o therefore_o do_v ourselves_o retain_v they_o in_o our_o church_n yet_o that_o any_o such_o shall_v be_v essential_a to_o the_o administration_n so_o as_o to_o null_n and_o make_v void_a the_o order_n that_o be_v confer_v without_o they_o be_v that_o which_o want_v all_o manner_n of_o evidence_n either_o from_o scripture_n ancient_a practice_n the_o nature_n of_o the_o thing_n itself_o or_o any_o other_o reason_n whatever_o which_o i_o have_v already_o make_v sufficient_o clear_a unto_o you_o and_o therefore_o without_o repeat_v what_o i_o have_v before_o say_v i_o shall_v pass_v on_o to_o the_o other_o two_o particular_n in_o which_o you_o be_v equal_o mistake_v for_o second_o that_o the_o order_n of_o priesthood_n be_v absolute_o necessary_a to_o qualify_v a_o man_n for_o the_o order_n of_o episcopacy_n so_o that_o none_o can_v be_v make_v a_o infer_v for_o what_o else_o can_v the_o command_n this_o do_v refer_v to_o but_o to_o the_o whole_a sacramental_a action_n before_o mention_v the_o receive_n and_o eat_v which_o belong_v also_o to_o the_o laity_n as_o well_o as_o the_o blessing_n and_o consecrate_v which_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o the_o priest_n only_o and_o if_o the_o word_n be_v not_o so_o understand_v there_o will_v be_v no_o command_n of_o our_o saviour_n oblige_v the_o laity_n to_o be_v partaker_n of_o this_o sacrament_n at_o all_o but_o the_o priest_n may_v be_v always_o leave_v to_o consecrate_v it_o and_o eat_v it_o themselves_o as_o contrary_a to_o all_o primitive_a practice_n and_o many_o canon_n of_o the_o church_n they_o nowadays_o for_o the_o most_o part_n do_v nay_o further_o they_o will_v be_v under_o no_o obligation_n to_o partake_v of_o it_o but_o only_o to_o bless_v and_o consecrate_v it_o and_o so_o if_o this_o interpretation_n take_v place_n the_o whole_a institution_n may_v become_v frustrate_a
