institution_n of_o christ_n and_o so_o defile_v and_o pollute_v the_o ordinance_n of_o christ_n much_o like_a unto_o those_o nation_n which_o sholmanezer_n king_n of_o assyria_n place_v in_o the_o city_n of_o samaria_n every_o nation_n make_v god_n of_o their_o own_o and_o yet_o it_o be_v say_v of_o they_o that_o they_o fear_v the_o lord_n and_o serve_v their_o own_o god_n 2_o king_n 17.29_o 33._o just_o so_o the_o pope_n and_o prelate_n make_v god_n of_o their_o own_o or_o devise_v a_o way_n of_o their_o own_o to_o worship_n god_n by_o which_o be_v all_o one_o for_o a_o devise_a to_o god_n word_n but_o devise_v a_o way_n of_o worship_n which_o christ_n have_v not_o prescribe_v it_o be_v idolatrous_a as_o well_o as_o to_o swear_v by_o malcham_n it_o be_v the_o stumble_a block_n of_o the_o wicked_a for_o diminish_v aught_o from_o his_o word_n which_o also_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v of_o his_o worship_n for_o it_o be_v not_o find_v in_o the_o scripture_n that_o christ_n have_v give_v power_n to_o any_o man_n or_o man_n to_o add_v or_o diminish_v to_o any_o part_n of_o his_o worship_n from_o his_o institution_n either_o in_o the_o old_a testament_n or_o the_o new_a to_o swear_v by_o malcham_n etc._n etc._n the_o thing_n that_o be_v swear_v and_o affirm_v may_v be_v true_a and_o yet_o the_o oath_n be_v sinful_a and_o idolatrous_a because_o it_o be_v not_o god_n way_n that_o he_o have_v institute_v that_o oath_n shall_v be_v give_v and_o take_v god_n say_v of_o the_o rebellious_a and_o wicked_a jew_n though_o they_o swear_v the_o lord_n live_v sure_o they_o swear_v false_o why_o so_o because_o their_o swear_n be_v vain_a and_o customary_a and_o not_o in_o such_o a_o way_n as_o god_n have_v appoint_v oath_n to_o be_v take_v and_o therefore_o he_o reckon_v it_o a_o false_a oath_n though_o the_o thing_n they_o swear_v be_v true_a the_o lord_n do_v live_v and_o so_o man_n may_v devise_v a_o way_n to_o worship_n god_n and_o snatch_v here_o and_o there_o a_o sentence_n or_o two_o of_o scripture_n and_o mangle_v it_o in_o piece_n and_o then_o patch_v it_o together_o to_o make_v up_o a_o form_n to_o please_v themselves_o and_o it_o may_v be_v some_o other_o and_o though_o the_o word_n for_o the_o matter_n of_o they_o be_v word_n of_o truth_n yet_o this_o also_o be_v sinful_a as_o to_o swear_v by_o malcham_n or_o as_o the_o wicked_a jew_n to_o swear_v the_o lord_n live_v because_o christ_n have_v not_o any_o where_o institute_v such_o a_o way_n of_o worship_n to_o jumble_v a_o many_o text_n fetch_v here_o and_o there_o together_o to_o make_v a_o form_n of_o worship_n though_o the_o word_n themselves_o be_v good_a yet_o they_o be_v not_o ordain_v for_o such_o a_o end_n nor_o we_o have_v neither_o precept_n nor_o example_n from_o christ_n nor_o his_o apostle_n so_o to_o use_v they_o but_o from_o antechrist_n the_o pope_n such_o example_n may_v be_v take_v by_o they_o that_o please_v conjurer_n witch_n and_o charmer_n use_v or_o rather_o abuse_v good_a word_n for_o they_o often_o time_n mutter_v over_o the_o creed_n and_o our_o lord_n prayer_n and_o several_a text_n of_o scripture_n to_o work_v their_o feat_n but_o god_n have_v not_o trust_v we_o with_o the_o scripture_n for_o such_o end_n especial_o not_o that_o those_o who_o can_v please_v themselves_o with_o such_o a_o form_n shall_v impose_v the_o same_o upon_o all_o other_o by_o penalty_n of_o imprisonment_n or_o banishment_n or_o the_o like_a as_o have_v be_v do_v to_o some_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o ever_o there_o can_v be_v any_o
